That's the way of friends

Hi readers!

Let me share with you today a song that's been one of my favorites ever since 2010. This song was sung to me by an old friend and since then it's been included in the list of my fave song until one day I removed it. It's just that I heard it in the radio this afternoon that's why I ended up writing about it.

So what do you think of the song? Does it hurt? Does it brings back old memories of someone that is so close to you? Does it reminds you how you choose friendship than being in a relationship? Does it make you miss a person from your past?

Have you had that one person that you can be who you really are? That one person that you always run to whenever you are happy or sad. That one person who can understand all your craziness. That one person who can always makes you laugh that your tummy hurts. That one person who always runs to you whenever you call? That your other friends thought that you two are more than friends but the reality is just that, neither of you want to cross that very fine line.

Me and you we were seeing it thru
Just two of a kind
With me and you so tried and so true
We we're rhythm and rhyme
All the starry nights, early city lights
Love was just one step behind
Don't people say
That's the way of friends

That kind of friendship that only you two understand. That kind of friendship that time and distance cannot break or you thought that nothing can break. That kind of friendship that is full of trust with each other that there is no room for doubt. The kind of friendship that you would call each other the very bestest friend.

All the trains and planes
Crowded freeway lanes
Can't explain the way of friends

And the silent telephones
Locked unhappy homes
They're just things
That have never known

About friends.. friends

When you have that kind of friend, calls and messages are unending. Phone calls are longer than what normal people do. There is no room for being unhappy. There is always someone who will make you smile. You two are every where, you two are unseparable. And no one can tell you that what you too are doing are not for friends anymore.

With you and me that's so hard to see
How the story could end
With these broken lines

Half remembered rhymes
And a love that would not bend
Don't people say...
That's the way of friends
Don't people say...
That's the way of friends

But because neither of you wants to cross that very fine line you two ended up with those broken lines, until one day you are already far far away from each other and all the rhythm and ryhmes are just half remembered now.

Final thoughts

It's so good to have that very special friend, the very bestest friend that you can have, the one that you thought that who will always be there for you but things can happen along the way that neither of you can explain why it happened and you two ended up being far far away from each other. I just hope that when the time comes that you remember again that person all the memories can make you smile, and be thankful that once in your life you had that someone who give meaning to your existence.
