“Locked up”

Synopsis

She hated to see herself in the mirror, it's as if she's seeing a different person when she looks through it especially in the eyes. It's not that she's ugly, but it's about her aura. Sometimes she looks fine seeing herself in the mirror but most of the time she doesn't like it especially when she looks at it longer. Her reflection showing the other side of herself. ‘‘Who are you?’’ she asks while seeing her reflection smiling at her.

Nicky has been bullied since she was young, her father left her mom when she was little. Her father abandoned them and choose to go with his mistress. Since then, she has been bullied because of their family situation. She is a shy type of girl, she does not mingle with her classmates. She is aloof, she became the favorite of her bully classmates because she is silent.

Her mom works to support their financial needs and to send her to school, her mom does not spend much time with her because she was busy working to provide for their needs. She pities her mom, sometimes in the middle of the night, she hears her mom crying. So she didn't tell her mom that she was being bullied at school so she will not add up to her burdens.

She is kind and soft, a very considerate girl. She always considered the feelings of her mom, that is why she keeps her bullying moments to her. Even in school, she is kind to her classmates that made them take advantage of her kindness. Despite her experiences, she managed to have good grades that even more annoying to her bully classmates. They hated her because she's too aloof that they cant copy to her answers during assignments or quizzes or ask any help. After all, they are dumb. Aside from that, she is also the teacher's favorite because she behaves well and she is polite.

One afternoon when the class is over she went to the comfort room before heading head home. Inside the ladies room, she saw her classmates, Anna, Jenny, Fatema, and Aina. Her bully classmates.

‘‘Oh look who's here guys ’’ Jenny mumbled.

‘‘It's our genius classmate ’’ said Anna smiling evil.

“Do you know guys that our school is hunted? especially this lady's comfort room. There are rumors that there was a student who committed suicide here?” She heard them talking when she passed by.

She went to the cubicle directly without minding them. While doing her thing, she heard the girls laughing evilly. She wondered why they were laughing like that. After flushing the toilet she went outside, she noticed that the door entrance was closed. When she tried to open the door it was locked. No wonder why her bully classmates laughing like evils when she was inside the cubicle, they locked her up. She keeps turning the doorknob and shouting for help. Since the class hours ended, nobody heard her. She was crossing her fingers while praying for somebody will come to open her but sadly nobody comes. The sun is already down, darkness was slowly replacing the light. She's afraid in the dark, she started feeling nervous while she sat near the door. She's afraid in the dark because she has seen a shadow in the dark before, she is certain it was a supernatural thing because how can you see a shadow in the dark?
