Bingo Card: What are you doing to address your mental health

Hello everyone! What a hot afternoon to us. Time check, it's 11:58 AM now in our country and the weather is so very hot again. My gosh! I need to buy some ice cubes to drink but i am worried that i will get sick since the weather in the afternoon is rainy. I don't like to suffer from cough and headache again.

Anyways, for today's blog, I read @kli4d 's article: Mental wellness bingo and I think this topic for me is a good topic because you know how much I suffered from my depression and stressful life in past few days.

So Let's start playing this bingo card

and I will tell to you if I got a bingo or nah.

Deep Breathing

The first one that I got is this deep breathing. Everytime that I am suffering thinking some the negative thoughts, I always take a deep breath to calm myself.

Because, once that i will think a negative past or mistakes it always trigger my depression and it makes me stressed. I mean, did you also experienced this? When you think how stup!d you are in the past and you remembered it, you will shout or say, 'You're so dumb' and or 'Why did you do that?' . So to stop myself from overeacting about what happened in the past, i need to calm myself by deep breathing.

Another thing why I always do this is because I don't want to talk back sometimes to other people who are talking bad about me. You know how toxic my family is here and instead of talking back to them, I just take a deep breath to stop myself from talking back to them.

Take a break From Technology

I also did this last last day I think. I take a break using technology especially my phone. Because I want a peace of mind. I don't even talk with my Mom and Older Sister from the chats. I also did not write for a day here because I want to rest my brain from thinking some topic to write about.

Keep a Consistent sleep Schedule

I did. I always remember myself to sleep during afternoon from 1 PM to 5 PM since it always raining during that time. Then, sleep early and not wait to pass 2 AM again. Because looking at the mirror, my eyes is now turning red and I have a big and black eyebags now too due to always sleeping late and i don't like to make it look worsts so i need to sleep a exact time or amount of sleeping now.

Spend time in Nature

I did! i always do that since my window of my room is big I can see the green nature in our backyard. I always plan to wake up early in the morning too to watch how the beautiful sun rise in the mountain while drinking my coffee and the is the one of the best moments that i did to calm and relax myself.

Take a Virtual tour

Oh this one. My Mom, Sister, and I have this Group chat on Instagram and she always call to us everytime that she have a free time. Then, since the house of her boss is just near in the side of the Beach, she go there and call us to see the beautiful scenery during the soon to be evening time in their country.

The next travel tour that she show to us is the aquarium. I never traveled or go to the aquarium since when I was still a kid so, I told her before that, that is one of what I dream to see. The big fishes, sharks, octopus and other sea creatures that passing by from my left, right, and even to the above. My gosh! Even though, It's just a virtual travel, I am so very excited to see a shark and she grants me that wish and I am so happy to watched the baby sharks and octopus swim there. Oh my, My stressful day that time wiped away because I am scared when i saw the shark. My gosh!

Watch a Movie or TV show

I told you that I saved a Movies and Drama series on my Facebook account and I write about it last last day and here is the link of my article.

Since, my mind can't cooperate reading articles because it went blank. I decided to watch a movie/drama series. The Monstrous is so very good to watch but it didn't cured my stressed or depression because I have a trouble of sleeping I can't sleep every night because I always see the white eyes of the characters in the movie and it's scary and weird. Anyhow, I enjoyed watching the other movies that I have watched and it's makes my mind energized because it's straveling from imaginations again. It's better than thinking some problems and stressful thoughts right?

Exercise

This is what I did a while ago. I tried to do exercise but my body doesn't like to cooperate with me.

I heared some little crack maybe because of my bones. Oh my gosh! I also think that I am old now. It's so very tiresome because I tried to follow the steps of how I will get rid my big belly. You know, I think virus is not the cause of of my death but the push ups and sit ups. Lol

Anyways, that is all for today's blog. I didn't do the other things that was written on the card yet but I hope i can do it in the next days to make my self entertain.

Obviously, tbe answer is a NO. But I hope i can cross a red line to the others soon but i enjoyed answering this Bingo card about caring mental wellness and it helped me to remember the things that i did to cure my depression and stress and I hope you also care your mental health like i do. For me having an enough sleep and spending time with nature is the best because you will immediately erase all the stress. I also add the music therapy that soothes your mind and spirit as well ;)

Oh, I haven't listened to any music for how many months know because I don't have bluetooth headset huhu but yeah you're right. Spending with nature is really a good medicine for us.

That's nice. Just keep yourself busy to divert your mind from thinking negatively. Listening to songs and watching videos with positive content can be a great help also.

Kahit ano naman ginagawa ko. Kanina nga nilinis ko yung buong kusina namin.. Hahaha. Kasama na yung paghuhugas nang pinggan, kalsero, tas nilinis ko din yung dirty kitchen namin..🤣 Nakikinig din ako sa music or sayaw for content sa tiktok ko. Pero lately, tinatamad ako'ng gumawa nang content. Anyways, dapat talaga alagaan natin yung health natin, specifically our mental health marengs.
