When I was young I was also like other people who have blinded that tattoo in the body has a negative meaning, like when I was kid and I saw someone who has tattoo the thing that comes in my head is that this is a bad guy or this just came from the prison. Well, that’s how the movie and stories portraits their characters, the bad guy's gang always had these tattoos in their arms and bodies.
Don’t judge me, I lived in a very conservative community and what I hear I believed that much, a little boy who hasn’t seen the internet, or anything outside the limit of capacity. But now day by day my curiosity is filled with questioned and kind some thinking.
I saw this person who posted with some minimal tattoo, those just a simple black figure but had a very intense meaning, that symbolism comes from their experience or something that motivates them. It’s a trend that hooked a huge number of teenagers.
Come to our past History. The tattoo became part of Filipino culture, its symbolized bravery and masculinity. As what I remember in my school days (Not sure if still correct LOL) only hunters and wild animal food gatherer has the right to have a tattoo in their bodies. Only those brave and fighters will behave the art pigment in the body, not until the pearl of orient see was colonized by Spaniards and because of 3G (God, Gold, Glory), Were Filipino ancestor was convince in the bible content that body is sacred and not meant to be destroyed by the blank ink, it’s a sin.
As time goes, another challenge for the artist is to face discrimination with their tattoos, some schools won’t allow a student with tattoos to take their school, the company needs personnel with no vandal in body, and people see a man with a tattoo as an ex-convict. That’s was the last time, now people found a tattooed man was cool.
I personally see a lady with a tattoo that is cool, and a man with cover style in their skin an Idol, I don’t know maybe that makes me influenced by watching the MTV videos about friendship or relationships that was challenging to make and design tattoo in their partners, some ended up breakups and best friends fighting for exposing their secrets to tattoos.
Maybe I should bring my secrets too in my body, maybe I will give the remainder of my life onto my body.
The first symbol I wanted to have is the “cross” that’s symbolized Cristiano, I am Cristian and I wanted to have that to be printed just close to my chest. Followed by rose with a colour of Blue, the blue rose has meaning to me, it symbolized my creativity. Not to brag, but people see me as creative. I made a programme and tried to run an event and I did, but it's stressful and not my cup of tea so I ignored it when people told me to make another programme for them.
Next to the Blue rose will be a red butterfly, imagine that the colour was reverse. The plant must be colour red will blue and the organism that should be blue will be red. It will symbolize the reverse thinking I had. I always think outside the box. I can force my mind to think in the rush, I love rushing things thou.
I also remember my friend she’s a lady and had a heart tattoo but that wasn’t just a simple tattoo for its cover the birthmark she had in her arms, like other tattoo videos that creative people will doodle things to make the scar more beautiful.
Maybe that’s what people see why they making tattoos on their bodies, to hide the scar or to get the scar.
Hide the past event like a happened accident they choices to cover it with ink with the symbol it’s either the reason why they got the scar. Some people they choices to make the scar in their bodies, when someone that they loved the most loss and they don’t want that to happened, marking their names in their body will make them feels like they are still around forever.

This article won't be intended to convince you to be like me; I always say that my work was random and not intended to be your guide in your daily lives, haha but if you also wanted to have tattooed why not right?
The tattoo had something big that was inside, it’s not that drawing or just a picture but symbolism and of success and scar, now a day we were in living in a new era and some countries and groups of people had been accepting and normalized this kind of body art.
Do you also want a tattoo? What style and why?
I really like that your tattoos are somewhat universal. What I mean by that is that everyone can interpret the picture their way and the meaning you see in it can also change over time and yet you don't need to change the tattoo - it will be always powerful as a symbol. 😊 I don't think I will ever get a tattoo. I'm too afraid.
