Does a math mindset make a person more successful in life?
Math is all around. Math can be found anywhere. What place or thing does not have math? It seems there is no any because math is deeply embedded in our lives. I believe that math cannot be removed from our lives. I grew up loving math, particularly statistics because I just loved the computation of statistics compared to other branches of math. I learned that math is fun in its own way, you just have to believe that it is. Well, others might complain and disagree since we all have different weaknesses in subjects in school.
I want to emphasize that mathematics is everywhere because everywhere shapes, the value of money, and even our phones have mathematics. So, how could we deny that math is not with us? How much we hate math, yet we have no choice but to live together with it. It was not really fun when math gave us a pure headache, especially when we don’t get the right result even using the right formula. How relatable it is that I still remember when I was in high school that even if we have lists of formulas on the index card. Yet, we cannot extract the right answer.
What’s the relationship between math and success in life?
Since it is given that math is with us every time and everywhere, then can we say that math can make us successful in life? I believe that a math mindset has a huge impact on our daily life because the right financial management involves money and when we say money, it is our needs, wants, and freedom. It involves money so I can concur that this will be a good opportunity for everybody to see the other side of mathematics. That is not only the worst subject but a good transition to make your life good. So, if you despise math so much, then better change your mindset about it.
I think when we have a math mindset, it will be easier for us to make a faster decision and make a good choice because hypothetically, we are good enough to calculate things. But it doesn't mean that we are always right because calculations are just to measure the initial plan of choice you are about to choose. Though I like math, I cannot consider myself math minded because I'm more practical and rational. So do you consider yourself with a math mindset? Then, you are a great person.
The question is, do you believe in such a theory?
This is not hard to answer if yes or no. It is because I think my answer is yes. I believe that everything and everyone has their own unique intelligence and perhaps your mathematical intelligence is not great, it doesn't mean you will not believe in it. I am sure that you have your very own intellectual intelligence that is superior to others. You just have to learn and make good use of it though. I believe that your own wisdom and experiences are enough to cover the lacking intelligence. Math is indeed a a hard one, but with enough understanding and perseverance. Then, you can do whatever you want in life and be successful with it.
