Classic Filipino Christmas Party
Christmas season is being celebrated all over the world by almost everyone. Nonetheless, each countries, each families, and each individuals has their own unique and different ways on how they spend their Christmas.
For this article, I am going to focus on sharing the classic way of how I spend Christmas season with family and friends.
I am from the joyful and beautiful country of the Philippines. Our country is known to celebrate Christmas in a longest period of time. Because here in the Philippines, when September 1 or "ber" months began, it already means that it's Christmas season for us and it is the time where we already get started in celebrating Christmas through many different ways such as: decorating Christmas lanterns in our homes, streets, parks, and other places, kids caroling, playing Christmas songs, *"Simbang Gabi"*, and so on.
Christmas season is also a "big homecoming" here in our country. Expect that there will be so many OFWs or Overseas Filipino Workers who will fly back here in their country to spend Christmas with their families and loved ones.
Around the month of December, typically before December 24, most of the group of people arranged Christmas Party events wherein Classic Filipino Christmas Party happens.
What do I mean by that?
Classic Filipino Christmas Party
**1. Classic Filipino foods for feast**
These are the typical foods that are being set on the table for the feast: spaghetti, fried chicken, puto, fruit salad, lumpia, barbeque, lechon and so on. It all depends on the different parties but these foods are mostly the really classic ones that I can think of right now. Haha.
**2. Games**
Typical parlor games that are being played in Filipino Christmas Parties are: Trip to Jerusalem, Charades, Paper Dance, Hep Hep Hooray, Pinoy Henyo, Calamansi Relay, etc.
**3. Exchange Gifts**
My Recent Classic Filipino Christmas Party with Friends
I have group of friends from high school and 'til now that we are in college, we all remain as friends or "squad". Starting last 2019, we began to have Christmas party which includes only us 10 friends along with other guests *(mga jowa ng friends ko hahaha sana all)*. Followed by year 2020 and just recently, we celebrated our third Christmas party together.
Our 2021 Christmas Party happened just recently, **January 3**. We haven't been able to celebrate it around December 2021 because almost all of us have our finals for our second semester. But nevertheless, what's important is that we made it happen.
Our Christmas party was held at one of our friends house starting from 11 am until 6 pm.
At 11 am, we all ate our lunch first. It was Jollibee chicken joy and rice (of course), along with iced tea as our drinks.
When we are done eating our lunch, we head on to our **"Exchange Gifts"**. What I received here were dotted notebook, grid notebook, and 3 washi tapes.
Then, each of us contributed ₱20 for our prizes in different games, some contributed more than that amount though. *(Sorry na. Yan lang kaya ng budget namin. Hahaha.)*
After that, we decided to play games! The very first game that we played was **"Hep Hep Hooray!"** and ₱50 / $1 was the prize for the winner.
If you don't have any clue what that game is, it is a popular game even years ago in a TV show of "Wowowin".
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yiq_DQQoiG0
Afterwards, we played a popular challenge on TikTok which was the **"Whoever Spills the Water Fails"**. We played it girls vs. boys way and the prize was bags of Kisses chocolates. In the end, the boys won but they shared the Kisses chocolates with us. Hihi.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b7dFH4zN__A
**"Trip to Jerusalem"** was our third game. It is another one of the most classic Filipino game and it is also known as "musical chairs" wherein the players compete for a limited number of chairs by circling them, and after the music stops playing, the one who gets the last chair is the winner. The prize for the winner in that game was ₱50 / $1 again.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_r72qb7_E80
**"The Boat is Sinking"** was our next game after that. It is a game where the host says "the boat is sinking, group yourselves into *insert any number*". The last two players are the winners. And in this game, I won! Together with my one girl friend. Our prize was ₱50 / $1 again, we divided them into two so we had ₱25 / $0.5 each.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DpfJNlgOzew
Next, we played the **"Paper Dance"**. It is another classic Filipino game where pairs have to dance on a sheet of paper without touching any part of the body outside the boundaries of the sheet.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gZPBbipiv_w
After the consecutive games that we played together, we took rest by eating snacks such as spaghetti, fries, and other foods. We also took some group and individual photos, chitchat here and there, and did a TikTok video (it's not a dance hahaha).
After almost an hour or so, we noticed that we still had remaining ₱50 / $1 for the game prize and so we decided to play one last game which was **"Jack 'n Poy"** or "Rock Paper Scissor" which is a game that whoever beats every player will be the winner.
After all of those enjoyable things that we did, we bid farewell at around 6 pm.
It was a super fun and memorable day for me spent with my friends. 😊
I may be late but belated Merry Christmas to everyone and happy holidays!
Thanks for reading and until the next blog. ❤️

What Happened to my 2021 Goals?
Every year, I always make sure to set a goal that I need to aim for the entire year. For sure, I am not the only one who does this. I know that you do this too!
For this article, I am going to review whether I achieved my goals or I failed.
Last 2021, I set goals for myself in four different categories mainly personal, academic, finance, and side hustle.
MY 2021 GOALS REVIEW
PERSONAL
1. Do a physical activity more often
Failed. I am one of those people who set a goal every single year that they will consistently workout to get some abs. Hahahaha. But until now, I always failed at this and my abs are absent. 🤣
In 2021, I just workout often times and I didn't do it consistently. But I will still keep on trying my best to incorporate this in my daily habits.
2. Be more creative by making my own bujo themes the rest of the year
Failed. I do bullet journaling (bujo) for around 3 years already and I challenged myself in 2021 that I should make my own themes for the entire 12 months instead of copying bujo themes on YouTube. Especially from Amanda Rach Lee cause I really love how she creates bujo themes.
Suddenly, I only created 4 themes from January until April, 2021. Because I used an undated planner for the month of May and the following months.
What I realized though in having a planner, is that planners are not for me. (Sorry to planner users out there.) I like journal the best because I can customized it in ways that I wanted it to be.
So yeah, I failed at this because I switched to a planner. But I guess if I continue with bullet journals, I will be able to achieve this goal and create all the monthly themes by myself.
*Nasayangan lang talaga ako siguro na hindi gamitin yung binili kong planner.* Haha. But at least now I know that planner is really not suited for me.
3. Practice mindful eating
Failed. I mostly remembered so many unhealthy eating habits that I have done in 2021. Sometimes I think the reason why I did those are because of my stress in school works. In short, I experienced stress eating. Huhu.
This is still in my 2022 goals though. And I hope by this year, I will make it happen.
One of my ways to practice mindful eating this 2022 is switching my daily coffee from 3-in-1 (cream, sugar, coffee) to just pure black coffee. No added sugar, no cream, and whatnots. I already know this long ago that black coffee is a healthy and great option. I practiced drinking it back then, but I went back to 3-in-1 again. Hahaha. But in December, I started to try black coffee again as my daily morning coffee and until now I have been pretty consistent with it. It tastes better for me as time goes by. I got to appreciate the bitterness as time passed by. It's actually perfect with a sweet dessert.
I am curious though. What do you guys prefer, 3-in-1, black coffee, latte or other kinds of coffee? 🤔
4. Donate clothes on non-profit organization/s
Failed. I was supposed to do this in our NSTP subject but my professor didn't allow me to for certain reasons. I was very excited with this already but my project proposal was rejected. 😞 We have many unused clothes here that are still wearable and in good conditions so I really want to donate.
Last December also, a friend of mine asked me if I have something to donate that are kids clothing and I said yes. I packed the clothes in the box ready to be donated. She said that she'll pick it up here in our house but later on, she apologized that she wasn't able to pick up the clothes because their vehicle needs a repair. I said that it's fine. I can't do anything about it anyway.
I just wish that I will still got to do this goal this 2022.
ACADEMIC
For context, I am currently a 2nd year architecture student.
1. Enroll and finish 1st year 2nd semester
Achieved! What I mostly remember in this semester was that in our Visual Technology 2 subject, we need to do a watercolor painting almost every week. I am not that good with watercolor renderings but I am so proud of myself that I pushed myself out of my comfort zone and I am honestly kinda proud of myself for my watercolor paintings/drawings. That's the most memorable thing for me in this semester.
So glad that I was done with it! I had fun.
2. Enroll and finish 2nd year 1st semester
Achieved! This has been the toughest semester for me so far. We were overload with architectural plates and school works. That's why I am really grateful that I survived this semester last December. I haven't seen my grades yet in my student portal but I hope that it will be all good marks. I hope that I won't receive line of 3 mark, only line of 1 and 2. 🙏
3. Invest in myself by building knowledge and skills through giving my best in every activities
Failed and Achieved. I have some activities where I know that I did my best and I also had a lot of other activities that I just did my bare minimum. *Mema pasa lang kumbaga.* Especially with our recent semester, I would say that maybe half of my school works I only exerted my bare minimum efforts because I was feeling so stressed and overwhelmed with the piled up tasks. I also felt anxious cause I had so many what ifs in my mind but my biggest what if that time was "what if I won't be able to pass this on time and I will receive an INC or *bagsak* grade?" Just by thinking that I am going to have an INC and low grades on my academic card makes me feel so bad. I don't wanna receive those marks because I thought to myself *na hindi ako pwede maka-receive ng ganoon na marks kasi pinapaaral ako ng maayos ng parents ko*, they support my studies financially and emotionally. *Yung iba nga dyan diba hirap na hirap makapag-aral dahil walang matibay na support system, yung iba walang chance na makapag-aral. Tapos ako na may chance and all, ibabalewala ko lang?* That thought has been one of my motivation to keep on pushing myself to do well in school works. I guess this has been also one of the reasons ever since why I am somehow grade conscious.
But yeah, I will still try to do my best for the next school works to build my knowledge and skills.
4. Invest in a laptop
Failed. I was supposed to buy one last December but I kept on putting this goal off.
For the past years, I have only been borrowing laptop of my brother and my mom, currently, I am using my mom's laptop.
My real target is to purchase my own laptop before face to face classes started and before 3rd year college. I moved this goal to my 2022 goals instead. https://read.cash/@CrazyRichFilipinaa/my-2022-goals-personal-academic-finance-and-side-hustle-8a3d5cda
FINANCE
1. Save more than what I spend each month
Achieved. Well, it's 9 out of 12 result. I overspent with 3 months in July, August, and November. But for me, it still means that I succeeded with this goal that I set up for myself. I do promise that I will do better this 2022 with my spending habits.
2. Invest a total of P2,000 on Equity Fund
Achieved!
3. Invest P1,000 at MP2 for the month of May or onwards
Achieved! I invested way more amount than I expected around February or March because I had such a good income from my online business at the month of February. Hooray!
4. Complete a low-buy/no-buy month challenge
Achieved on February! February was my most abundant month in 2021. I challenged to myself to not buy anything as much as possible and I succeeded. I also earned the most in this month through my online business. February was the month that I saved the most.
5. End the year with P50,000 / $1,000 net worth
Achieved! I even went beyond my target net worth so I am really happy and grateful. One of the reasons why I did this is because of this platform, read.cash and noise.cash. So a huge thank you to everyone who has been part of my BCH journey.
SIDE HUSTLE
1. Reach 500 followers on Instagram @chambepremium
Failed.
2. Continue selling premium apps/accounts and ebooks
Achieved.
3. Have 400+ sold premium accounts, ebooks, etc.
Achieved.
That's a wrap for my 2021 goals review. In conclusion, I didn't do great in my personal goals. However, it seems like I did well in other categories such as my academic, finance, and side hustle. So all in all, I think it was still a pretty great result and I am proud of myself.
How about you? Have you already reviewed your 2021 goals whether you achieved them or not? Whatever the result may be, let's still keep on trying to take an action to aim them. We'll just be shocked one day on how far we've come.
Thanks for reading and until the next blog. ❤️

My 2022 Goals: Personal, Academic, Finance, and Side Hustle
I am a day late but still, I want you all to greet a Happy New Year! 🥂
We have come this far. We survived the countless challenges that we faced in 2021. We encounter many happy memories as well in the year of 2021. It was a lot of ups and downs but here we are... we managed to still be here amidst of it all. Let's be proud of ourselves for doing that!
Before I began to share my 2022 goals, I would just like to share that this is my very first article this 2022 and this is my first article again after almost 2 months because my last article was still on November 9, 2021. The reason why I got inactive in writing articles is because of our finals season. I was so overwhelmed with our overflowing architectural plates and school works. That even by posting consistently on noise.cash, I sometimes forget about it.
But here I am... back on this platform again! And I think it is the important thing. Still getting myself back up despite falling behind.
Enough with the chitchat though. Haha. Here's what the real topic for this article is all about...
MY 2022 GOALS
I am a person who love to set goal and I also love to track my progress, small or big, all throughout the year either on my journal or through a digital notes app. I usually set my goals through different four categories mainly personal, academic, finance, and side hustle. By categorizing my goals, it's easier for me to assess on which aspect of my life I am doing great and which should I need to improve.
Here are my goals for this year that I am aiming to achieve. These are the list that I am only comfortable to share with the public (bare with me), I'll keep the others by myself. Hihi.
PERSONAL
This first category focuses on my health in different aspects such as physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual.
1. Be consistent with good habits: workout, meditate, eat mindfully.
ACADEMIC
This category is mainly for my college life. My course is BS Architecture and I am currently a 2nd year student on its way to 2nd semester.
1. Enroll and finish my 2nd year 2nd semester
I will enroll this January and I hope that everything will be smooth just like the previous enrollments. I also hope to survive this 2nd semester.
2. Enroll and finish my 3rd year 1st semester
I guess our enrollment for this will be around July or August. And just what I always aim in every semester, I will survive this semester.
3. Invest in a laptop
In our course, a good quality of laptop is required for us to do digital architecture drawings. We will be using software such as AutoCAD, Lumion, SketchUp, etc. so it is a must.
I originally intended to buy a laptop last 2021 but I kept on putting it off for various reasons. But this 2022, I really need to achieve this because we will have subject/s that will require us to do digital drawings or renderings.
4. Invest in myself by building knowledge and skills through giving my best in every tasks.
FINANCE
If you've been following me on my read.cash or on my noise.cash (**CrazyRichFilipina****)**, perhaps you would know by now that I one of my interests is personal finance, investing, and the likes. I am not rich though cause I am still a student hahaha. But I just really find it interesting ever since. Financial aspect of my life is something that I set goals for me to accomplish. https://noise.cash/u/CrazyRichFilipina
1. Save more than what I spend each month
This has been my goal as well in 2021 but I didn't achieve it a hundred percent because I overspent in the months of July, August, and September. But I think I still did well. But I wanna do better this 2022 but doing it the entire months.
2. Start to build my emergency fund.
I love consuming videos, blogs, etc. that are related to finance. And in all of those, they always advise to build an emergency fund first because it is a foundation in personal finance.
Building emergency fund is actually something that I always shrugged off the past years because my mindset is that I am still a student and my parents are there for me to fund my emergency expenses if ever. But I wanna change that this year.
I aim build my full emergency fund before I graduate, specifically on my 5th year in college. I am going to start building it this 2022.
3. Invest a portion of my money in Pag-ibig MP1 and MP2.
I already made a series of articles tackling all about investing in Pag-ibig MP1 and MP2. For me, it is the safest and greatest form of investment especially for beginners. Check them out:
Part 1: Invest in Pag-IBIG MP2: What is that? https://read.cash/@CrazyRichFilipina/invest-in-pag-ibig-mp2-what-is-that-fadcc94d
Part 2: Invest in Pag-IBIG MP2: Why you should? https://read.cash/@CrazyRichFilipina/invest-in-pag-ibig-mp2-why-you-should-fa89c4e2

4. End the year of 2022 with P100,000 / $2,000 net worth
In 2021, I achieved my net worth goal of P50,000 (surprisingly, I achieved more that I intended). This 2022, I am aiming for 6 digits. Yay! Wish me luck.
SIDE HUSTLE
1. Continue selling on my online business (digital products)
Here's the Instagram account if you want to pay me a visit. Hihi. https://www.instagram.com/chambepremium/
2. Continue posting daily on noise.cash
In 2021, I am kinda consistent with this. Although I missed posting a day or less than a week, I think I still did pretty great and I wanna continue it until this 2022.
3. Try to be consistent in publishing articles again here on read.cash
Honestly speaking, I've been inconsistent in this thing because of some circumstances that I already mentioned in my previous articles. But this 2022, I will try and try.
Those are my 2022 goals! I don't have any idea what's going to happen. If I'll slack off or achieve it all. But one thing is for sure... **I will keep on trying.**
Live by this famous quote...
"Fall seven times, stand up eight."
To wrap this article up, I think the word for this article is **"try"**. 🤗
How about you, guys? What are your goals for this new year "2022"? Share them on the comment below.
Thanks for reading and until the next blog. ❤️

I made a Burj Al Arab Architectural Scale Model!
Last September, our professor in Visual Technology 3 gave us a project to create an architectural scale model in conceptual stage. The time period that he gave us was from October 1 until October 30, but due to our 1 week midterm interlude or break, he decided to extend the deadline until November 8, which is yesterday.
Before October started, me and my friend decided to already find a building that we could start to work on. Preferably, one that has a YouTube tutorial so we can do it less harder. And this is what I found...
Part 1
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QF5-jobVlPo
Part 2:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a3VR_uVToaM
To be honest, having this video helped me so much and made my progress less stressful.
Background of the Building
Burj Al Arab is a luxury hotel, sometimes erroneously described as "the world's only 'seven-star' hotel",located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is designed and constructed by Architect Tom Wright of WWKArchitects and developed by Jumeirah Group. It is known to be one of the tallest buildings in the world.
Burj Al Arab stands on an artificial island 280 meters from the beach. Construction of the island began in1994 and involved up to 2,000 construction workers during peak construction. It was built to resemble the billowing spinnaker sail of a J-class yacht. Two "wings" spread in a V to form a vast "mast", while the space between them is enclosed in a massive atrium. The shape of the structure also resembles the sail of a ship. Near the roof, it has a helipad at a height of 210 meters or 689 ft above the ground. The hotel's helipad was designed by Irish architect Rebecca Gernon. The helipad is above the building's 59th floor, and has been used as a car racetrack, a boxing ring, a tennis match, and the jumping off point for the highest kite surfing jump in history. This enormous building opened on December 1, 1999. And up until now, it is still known as an extraordinary and expensive hotel in the world.
**Tools**
Cutting Mat A3 - ₱249
Hobby Knife Set - ₱268
Scissors - ₱0 (Cause I already have this.)
Elmer's Glue - ₱28
UHU glue - ₱135 (A very nice glue! The quality is like the glue stick where we use glue gun, but this one is far better because it doesn't need glue gun anymore to heat it up so you don't need to worry about getting burned.)
Pencil - ₱0
Metal Ruler - ₱0
**Materials**
Foam Board - ₱520
Illustration Board - ₱15
White Crepe Paper - ₱8.50
Fairy/Christmas Lights - ₱35 (Not sure? I forgot it.)
Toothpick - ₱0 (For the stand of trees.)
Brown Used Folder - ₱0 (For land, trees, and for the back part.)
Brown Paper Bag - ₱0 (For land, and helipad)
Vellum cartolina
Balloon Stick
Modelling Process
Build the island or the base of the building.
1. Using a sharp knife, cut out a foam board that is the same size of the island.
2. Paste a cut-out brown folder and brown paper bag at the top which serves as the ground of the island.
3. Cut out 41 pieces of illustration board that have a dimension of 3x5 meters, and wrap them with a brown
paper bag.
4. Paste the 41 pieces of 3x5 meters illustration board around the island.
Build the core of the building.
1. Cut out foam boards into the same size of the left and right side of the building. Also cut out other
pieces that are part of the building.
2. Put them all together by using glue. In my case, I used UHU glue all throughout the building process.
3. Cover the right and left facade of the building using white crepe paper. By using it, the light can pass
through.
4. By using a sharp knife, cut out 54 pieces of an illustration board with a width of 0.3 meters and with a
length of 27 meters. It must look like strips. Then, paste 27 pieces each on the left and right sides of the
exterior of the building up to the facade.
5. Put the balloon stick at the back part of the building.
Work on the exterior details of the building.
1. Cut out foam board needed for the exterior details of the building.
2. Paste the pieces together.
3. Put them on the right and left side of the building.
Work on the facade of the building.
1. Put the fairy or christmas light inside the building.
2. Cut out curve-shaped foam board pieces. Then, paste them on the facade of the building.
3. Cover the entire facade by using white crepe paper.
Work on the smaller details of the building.
1. By using a 5 mm foam board, slice them lengthwise as thin as possible.
2. Have 6 pieces that have a length of ~16 cm for the upper part. Have 6 pieces that have a length of ~19 cm.
cm for the middle part. Have 6 pieces that have a length of ~17 cm for the lower part.
3. Group them into 3 pieces with the same lengths. Then, glue each of the tips together.
4. Have shorter length pieces of the sliced foam board and paste them on the lengthwise foam boards.
5. After that, glue them on the sides of the building.
Build the helipad of the building.
1. Cut out foam board with a triangular pizza-like shape. Then, put it on the top of the building.
2. Cut out the vellum board into a circle. And using a knife, create rectangular holes at the sides of the
circle.
3. Cut out brown paper bag into a circle. By using a knife, cut another smaller circle. Then, cut a “H”
shape within the smaller circle.
4. Paste the cut out brown paper bag with a “H” on the circle vellum board.
5. This time, paste it on the balloon stick holder.
6. Paste the balloon stick holder at the upper center part of the building.
Work on the rear side of the building.
1. Cut out 5 pieces of foam boards that can fit in between the 2 vertical structures of the building. Then,
glue them in between them.
2. Cut out brown folder that can fit at the rear part of the building. Then, glue it there.
3. To build the restaurant, cut a vellum cartolina that has a dimension of approximately 12.5x10 meters.
Make them curved and put the cut out brown folder in empty spaces. Then, glue them at the back
part.
Add a landscape.
1. To make the trees, cut out brown folder with circle shapes. Then, cut at least 6 radius of each circle but
make sure not to cut the center part.
2. Stab the center part of the cutted brown folder circles onto the toothpicks. Now, we have the trees;
3. Stab the miniature trees or the toothpicks onto the island of the building.

This is the BEST Investment! (Guaranteed Return)
When you hear about the word "investment", perhaps the things that came into your mind immediately are stocks, real estates, cryptocurrencies, forex, mutual funds, UITFs, and other investment vehicles.
Among those, what do you think is the BEST investment? **🤑**
Well, in my own perspective, the BEST INVESTMENT is... not cryptocurrencies, not real estate, not stocks, not mutual funds, and the likes. None of the above.
The best investment is yourself. Ourselves.
But you might wonder, if ourselves are the best investment, how can we invest on that? Here are some of them...
Ways on How to Invest in Ourselves
In no particular order, let's start with...
1. Knowledge
As cliche as it may sound but really, "knowledge is power". We can have knowledge through going to school, getting that college degree, reading good books, learning educational contents on the internet, attending webinars or seminars, and so much more.
Here's a reminder, especially to my fellow students, that I would also like to share related to knowledge:
**"Don't study because you need to. Study because knowledge is power. Study because they can never take it away from you."**
One of the ways to invest in yourself is through studying. Whether it's studying in school or studying by yourself through the help of internet, books, and other resources. Remember that when you are studying, you are also growing.
If you are a student right now, or you already graduated, you have the resources to learn, then congratulations! You are so privileged of having knowledge. Let's continue to learn more because I believe that learning should never stop.
2. Social Circle
**"You are the 5 people you mostly hang out with."**
This quote has been on my mind since I heard it. And it is the fact. If you hang out with people who go out every night to party and drink, you will most of the time be a party-goer as well. If you hang out with people who are interested in cryptocurrencies, you will definitely be into it as well. Actually, it is what's happening to me. Since I discovered this BCH community, I got to be curious more on crypto.
So, be careful who you interact with most of the time because it will reflect a part of you.
3. Eat good food
Food is the fuel for our body. They said that "you are what you eat". That means, what you eat is a reflection of your physical body. If you indulge too much on sweet foods, your body might be diabetic. If you eat too much salty foods, you might be diagnosed with UTI or urinary tract infection. Meanwhile, if you eat green and healthy foods, you are most likely to be a healthy person.
Older people said that we might not see the results of what we eat most of the time while we are still young. But surely in the near future, the foods we put in our body will reflect on our health.
4. Move your body
This is still related to our physical health, same with number 3. Doing exercises or workouts has so many benefits to our body such as; it can make us feel happier because exercise can increase our endorphins which are known to help produce positive feelings, it can help in weight loss, it is good for our muscles and bones, it can increase our energy levels, it can reduce risk of chronic disease because it improves our heart health and body composition, it can help skin health, it can help brain health and memory, and it can also help in relaxation and brain quality.
To combine the number 3 and 4, eating good food and moving our body, if that two will be part of our regular activity, I swear that it will be one of our best investment to ourselves. Why? Because we will lessen the chance that we will be diagnosed with some illnesses at the hospital, and we will lessen the chance of paying hospital bills. Because let's admit it, hospital bills can be so expensive! Especially to those people who doesn't have health insurance or the likes. This is the harsh reality, but what happens then is they become a financial burden to their family. In Tagalog, *pabigat sa pamilya*. It's the reality. If we are not healthy enough or if we got sick or illnesses, our other family members need to buy medicines or pay hospital bills, they need to look after us for most of the time. That's why if you healthy as of the moment, you are so lucky because not everyone has that. You must value your healthy body by giving it a proper care, as simple as dedicating at least 10 minutes of exercise along with a healthy diet.
5. Skills
Skills is the ability to do something and perform it well. Having skills is one of the great asset that we can have. Skills such as baking cakes, painting landscapes, hosting events, writing blogposts, editing photos and videos, singing reggae songs, crocheting different things, playing a guitar or other musical instruments, and so on and so forth.
So why do we need to have at least one skill to invest in ourselves? Well, learning a skill or having it can give us a sense of accomplishment and it can develop our self-growth. It can also help you financially. For example, you have a skill in baking so you can sell cupcakes, you have a skill in teaching so you can be an online teacher, you have a skill in doing yoga so you can be a yoga trainer, you have a skill in communicating so you can be a host.
By working on our skills on a regular basis, we can consider it as a hobby. And therefore, it can increase our learning speed. Our drive to keep on progressing and our interest to keep on learning other skills as well increases. For example, you are good in baking cupcakes so you now want to learn how to bake cakes, you are a yellow belter in taekwondo so you now want to keep improving to be a black belter one day, you are good in sketching but now you want to venture into painting.
In conclusion, having skills can give us so many benefits and developing it consistently will definitely improve ourselves. We put in hard work in building our skills. And remember this famous quotes, **"hard work will never betray you"**, **"hard work pays off"**.
Those are the 5 ways on how we can invest in ourselves, make ourselves the best investment, and make ourselves the most valuable asset.
There is definitely more ways such as doing skin care, dressing good, do a proper hygiene, and so on. Bu these 5 things I gave are what I think are some of the best ways.
Closing Thoughts
The BEST INVESTMENT is not cryptocurrencies, not real estate, not stocks, not mutual funds, and the likes. The best investment is yourself. Build a good and strong foundation of yourself, make yourself valuable, make yourself worthy, **make yourself an asset that never decreases its value**. Invest in yourself by reading good books, surrounding with good people, eating nutritious foods, working out, doing hobbies, learning things, and so on. **Keep on trying to be healthy in all aspect: emotionally, mentally, physically, spiritually.** Once you build a good and strong foundation of yourself, you will be unbreakable. 🌿🌟〽️

My November Goals
It has been a habit of mine to set goals, either big or small, for each month. And so, last October 31, before November came, I already wrote down my November goals on my journal and I would like to share it here to keep myself accountable.
Here are my goals for the month of November...
1. Reach 1 BCH!
As of the moment that I am writing this (November 5, 4 pm), I currently hold 0.84028258 BCH in my wallets. For the past few months, I consistently make 0.2 BCH each month. So, I am assuming that it will accumulate another 0.2 BCH within this month and when that happens, I will be able to achieve this goal.
#Club1BCH cutie 💚
2. Max out my "Dream Laptop" BCH wallet
It was last September when I decided to create a BCH wallet for the sake of saving up for my laptop. Laptop is not a want, it is a super ultra mega necessary thing for me. The ultimate reason why I badly need it is because of my course which is BS Architecture. I am currently in 2nd year and thanks God that we don't have a subject yet where we need to use software such as AutoCAD, VRay, Lumion, etc. We mostly do manual drafting for now. But I guess anytime next semester or when we are on 3rd year, we will start to use software.
Gaming laptop is the that I am eyeing for, particularly Legion 5, which costs more than ₱50,000 or $1,000. I don't want to ask a huge chunk of money from my parents so I am really trying my best to save up for it since last year.
$17.83 worth of BCH remaining and I will be able to reach my goal already. If I succeed in saving up for it, and will later on purchase it, it will be my first ever laptop.
Once I max out my wallet, I will convert it into fiat money once the price of BCH went up. (*Please lang BCH, mag-all time high ka ulit this December or January.* 🥺🙏)
3. Finish my first architectural scale model
This goal is already a success last November 3 because I finished it already.
If you have been following me on my noise.cash account here: **CrazyRichFilipina**, you would know that I created my first architectural scale model of Burj Al Arab, a building located in Dubai, at the scale of 1:500. It is for our project in Visual Techniques 3. I am planning to write an article on how I did it. https://noise.cash/u/CrazyRichFilipina
But here's a peak at my finished project:
4. Survive academic tasks
Less than 2 months, 6 weeks to be exact, is remaining and we will be over with this semester. Once I got to accomplish academic tasks this November, that means I have less than 3 weeks left for this semester. *Grabeng* countdown. Hahaha. But seriously, I hope I can do better this month with my plates and other school works.
5. Have an increase in my net worth
This is a consistent goal of mine. Every month, it is my goal to have an increase in my net worth.
These are some of the things I do in order to achieve this:
**Track my income and expenses.** Make sure that income is higher than expenses.
**Spend money mindfully.** Avoid impulsive buying. If I want to buy something, I wait for 7 days or more than that to see if I really want to buy it. Most of the time, I end up not thinking about that anymore.
**Spend on things that I value.** By avoiding impulsive buying, I divert my money instead on things that I value such as thrift shopping, eating out with friends and family.
Other November Goals
Spent quality time with family and friends
Do one of my favorite thing to do which is to go to thrift stores (ukay-ukay) and hunt for nice clothes.
Those are my goals for this month.
How about you, guys? I would love to hear your goals as well on the comment section.
Thanks for reading and until the next blog. ❤️

How Did I Discover read.cash & noise.cash?
Can we be friends... again?
Hi! This is my first ever post in this account but I actually am here on read.cash community for 4 months as @CrazyRichFilipina, just for those who don't know me yet. http://read.cash
My penname is "CrazyRichFilipina" with an additional "a" now since this is my second account already. You can call me "Rich" for short. I am 20 years old, born and raise in the Philippines. You might be wondering why my penname is like that. Well, it's inspired by the famous movie, Crazy Rich Asians. For some reason, when I got to create an account here and I need to type in my username, it is what immediately came to mind. But, I also associate it with myself. Crazy, because I am especially when I am with people that I am comfortable to bond with. Rich, I am not literally rich but it is because I have a rich and abundant mindset which I believe is one of the key to achieve financial freedom. Filipina, because I am one.
**The History: How I Discover** read.cash & noise.cash
Since this is my very first article here and I am sure I am going to read this again from time to time, I want to share my journey on how I discovered this wonderful community.
Let's go back to June of 2021. It was right after finishing my first year of college and it's a summer vacation time. For some people, the first thing that comes into their mind is to completely chill and relax at the comfort of their homes or somewhere else, maybe at the beach, countryside, or out of the country, and it's fine because it's their lives anyway. In my case, I really want to find a new side hustle. One that could help me earn consistent income without stepping a foot outside our house, that I can do wherever I am and whenever I want, and that can fit to my student life schedule.
I had days or weeks wherein most of my hours were spent searching *"online side hustle philippines"*, *"ways to earn money online"*, *"side hustle for students"*, *"paano kumita online"*, and everything related to that. I looked up on Facebook, Google, but most of the time, it is YouTube where I literally geek out.
I stumbled upon so many ways such as to be an online English tutor, answer online surveys, be a financial advisor, be a seller of insurances, be a seller on Shopee/Lazada, do dropshipping, do affiliate marketing, be a vlogger, be an influencer, be a trader, be a scammer (charot), and all that jazz. I also even stumbled upon MLMs or Multi-level Marketing. I attended 2 seminars from different companies and that I needed to pay like ₱10,000/$200 first before I got to be a part of them. And *muntikan na ako dun* because their method of inviting people are like 'lifestyle marketing' wherein they persuade people to join in a way that they say things like *"I got to have my car, house, travel the world, be a multi-millionaire because of joining this company"*. And if you are the gullible type and you have enough money they suggest for you to start, maybe you'll immediately join them. I am not saying that MLMs are bad cause there are a lot of success stories already from it, but there are also a lot of bad ones. After that seminars, I started to search about MLMs and found out that there are some sorts of scams or pyramid scheme whatsoever that has been happening around that industry. And my value does not align with that.
*Haba ng kwento*. Sorry. *Pero eto na nga*... I already told this story in a previous article of mine, My First Week on read.cash & noise.cash, but this is an in depth version. Haha. https://read.cash/@CrazyRichFilipina/my-first-week-on-readcash-noisecash-9f2f449d
On June 19, 2021, right after I woke up, research *nanaman agad ulit ako* on YouTube about side hustles ideas and can potentially help me to earn money. And after a long haul of videos, here comes the video of *ate* @Eirolfeam2 wherein she saved ₱100,000 at the age of 20-year old. "Holy molly!" I said. I was very amazed because we are same age (almost). And I compared her to myself. I thought to myself that I only have half of what she saved up as a 20-year old. However, instead of just comparing, I took it as a sign that maybe this is it, this is the one I am looking for. And also, instead of just feeling jealous of what she have, might as well took her journey to serve as my inspiration and do what she did.
This is the first video that I watched from her:
https://youtu.be/I0TgFMak4U4
Afterwards, I watched other videos of her, mostly related to her Bitcoin Cash journey.
https://youtu.be/10pZsEOew8g
After watching her videos, I immediately signed up on read.cash cause I said to myself that I will never know if this is real or not, unless I tried it out. So, I did.
Then, when I already have an account here, most of the people talks about noise.cash and *ate* @Eirolfeam2 also mentioned it in her videos. I got curious so I made an account for that too which I actually really love. It's my favorite social media platform now, rather than Facebook and Twitter. Follow me there, guys! Here's my noise.cash account: **CrazyRichFilipina**. http://noise.cash https://noise.cash/u/CrazyRichFilipina
From then on and 'til now, I am still here in this community. That's my story on how I discover this platform. A big thanks to *ate* @Eirolfeam2 for her inspiring YouTube videos!
That's it for now. Thanks for reading and until the next blog. ❤️
