Everything started on June 19, 2021.
It was a normal Saturday for me where I was scrolling through Youtube and finding a video where I can potentially earn money online. After watching several videos, I came across a video of ate @Eirolfeam2 wherein she saved ₱100,000 at the age of 20-year old. I was so amazed because we are the same age but I have only saved half of hers. I know that I shouldn't compare myself to her cause we all have different journeys. But after watching the video, I was really motivated to keep going on my goal to achieve 6-digit savings.
Here is the first video that I watched from her:
And so, I watched other videos of her talking about her Bitcoin Cash journey.
My First Week Experience
Day 1: The Beginning
After watching that video, I immediately made an action and created my read.cash account. On that same day, I wrote an introductory post about myself here: Let's be friends!
It didn't stop there. While I was still figuring out about read.cash, I also heard of noise.cash. And so, I also created myself a noise.cash account, then I posted my first ever noise on my noise.cash. Here's my profile.

I was very hyped that day that I would interact with as many other people as much as I can. I enjoyed my first day so much!
Day 2: Getting to know
I posted my second article: 8 Frugal Tips to Save Money as a Student. If you have read my introductory post on Day 1, I mentioned that I have some article drafts for my future blog on my Notion and this article that I posted is one of them.
Day 2, June 20, was father's day and I am just starting to get to know how noise.cash really works. I am the type of person who isn’t that active on social media. On Facebook, I only share memes. On Instagram, I only post stories if I have something to post, most of the time is spent scrolling and seeing other people's life updates. On Twitter, just frequently but I am not that active anymore unlike the previous years.
Despite not being that active posting on social media, I decided to just try and post something. I ended up posting 7 times though.
Day 3: Biggest Tip
The article that I posted on the third day is also one of my drafts that I have kept for years already. This is the article: Things I'm Glad that I Did In My Teenage Life.
I was so amazed and grateful because I received the biggest tip on this article, I received $1 from @Meyzee . I know that it is only a tiny amount to others but as a newbie, it's a pretty huge deal for me.
Day 3, June 21, is also the day where I received my first tip on noise.cash from @AyaMedel.

Day 4: Keep Going
I posted my fourth article on day 4, A letter to my 30-year old self. I managed to be consistent in engaging with other users on both platforms.
I noticed that my daily routine has kind of changed because I spent most of my time on my gadgets for the sake of the two platforms instead of other social media apps. I must say that these platforms are somehow addicting.
Day 5: First Sponsorship
Fifth day, fifth article: My First Bullet Journal in 2019. And on this fifth day, a foreign notification popped out saying “New sponsor.”
June 23 was the date that I got my first sponsorship on this platform from @JonicaBradley . I am very grateful for that.

Day 6: Pause
Our place experienced power interruption or brownout starting 6:00 am until 5:00 pm. That was 11 friggin hours! That's the reason why I didn't get to post an article on the sixth day. But I still interacted with a bunch of users on both platforms.
I can say that I was having fun, especially in noise.cash because the approach is more casual there compared here.
Day 7: Second and Third Sponsorship
Yesterday, June 25, my notification on read.cash indeed greeted me good morning cause I received two new sponsorships from @McJulez and @OfficialGamboaLikeUs . I never expected to have 3 sponsors within just a short span of a week. I thought that it would take some quite more time to get sponsors.
"Nothing is impossible."
I am deeply grateful for the generous sponsorships that I have received. These are blessings that I am going to treasure and will keep me motivated to write more quality content.
June 25 marks my first week here on read.cash and on noise.cash. I decided to make an article (this article) about my first week experience here in order to document my journey and my progress. By doing so, I have something to look back on.

How many subscribers did I gain on my first week?
Numbers don't matter that much. I just really want to document how my first week has been so far.
In read.cash, I have 21 subscribers.

While in noise.cash, I have 159 subscribers.

How much did I make in my first week?
I only have one BCH wallet where my earnings in read.cash and noise.cash are combined. I don't know if this is the case for others but this works for me as of the moment.
I earned $16.78 or approximately ₱814.59. I am happy and grateful for the amount that I earned in my first week. I don’t see it as a small or huge amount. I feel content with what I have but I know myself and that I believe that I can be able to grow my earnings more in the succeeding weeks and months. And by that, I should put in my actions to do better and keep on progressing in writing articles on read.cash and posting contents on noise.cash.

What are my next plans?
Recently, I have read articles by other writers here on read.cash about the goals that they set specifically on these platforms. And that inspires me to make my own as well, but I haven’t decided yet what are my specific goals. Maybe I’ll write about it. All I can think of as of now is that I am going to be consistent and to always do my best.
How was your first week here on read.cash and on noise.cash?
I would love to hear it.
If you’ve come this far, please smile. 😊
Thank you for reading!
