Why do ladies reject public proposal? It's already midweek and I can smell Valentine from far away, though I haven't celebrated valentine before with a lady, there's no hurry in life, it's not like the people celebrating it with their partner are getting tips (money) from it anyway, haha, I know I sound jealous already. Let me just go straight at the topic First I will like to direct this question to the married women in the house, where did your partner pump up the question (will you marry me) and to the single ladies in the house, where do you want your future partner, to pump up the question? I await your answers in the comment section. During my days, okay the words sound funny because I'm in my 20s and I haven't seen a lot of things from a different perspective, but the few that I have observed, I will write it down for the young kings in the house that are planning to tie the knot very soon and they might not know where to pump the question, glad you didn't skip my article today, haha, you are going to learn one or two things. I came across a video on Twitter when a guy was just in the middle of the road and brought out a ring and kneel before his girlfriend as he pump the the question, the lady was telling was telling him to get up that he was embarrassing her, the guy was still kneeling while waiting for a positive response, a lot of people started to video them with their phones, the girl was wearing a cap and sunglasses, she was telling the guy to stand up and the guy refuses because he hasn't gotten any response from her, the lady opened the bottled water she was holding and poured it on him in front of everyone then left him looking disappointed, people were just looking at him and he bowed his head in shame. I have seen a lot of videos like this when a girl rejects a guy in public and there was this one that trended last year. After graduation, the guy brought out a ring in front of everyone in the school and propose to his girlfriend because both of them was graduating the same day, the lady legitimately took the ring and throw it away in the presence of everyone that was there and she left, what she did was very rude but me looking for both perspectives, I then know that she did it for a reason and not because she doesn't love her boyfriend but because of her ego or should I say standards. Most girls have this dream image of where their partner will pump up the question and most of them have already told their friends about it, either in a fancy hotel where there will be flowers and chocolates, balloons that are in alphabet be later “Will you marry me” or in Dubai when they are going on vacation, anything less than that will be a total turn off for them. I'm sure that those ladies that rejects men proposals in public didn't do it because they don't want to marry them but because the standard was too low for them, they want something memorable that they can use to make a pre-wedding video while playing “**Perfect** by **Ed Sheeran**” they just want something that will trend on social media anytime they post it and if you can't give it to them, just don't propose to them in public because they might make you regret meeting them in the first place. As a guy that is ready to propose to his girlfriend, please try and avoid public proposal it's a 50/50 risk your whole world might just end up crashing in front of your eyes at the very moment, I meant the girl though, you know you do call her your world, well she might just crash it on you if she can't let down of her standard. Most times are good to get inquiries from her friends, especially her best friend because she might have told her the dream proposal, trust me when I say it will be a great help for to you so you won't end up being disappointed in the public, the media is also the cause of all these though. Most all these female celebrities are misleading the young queens not to settle with what a man can afford because they believe that if the man truly love them, they will be willing to go extra mile for their proposal to come through. I saw a video of Cardi B that made me laugh out loud, I just couldn't control it, in one of her hit track title “WAP” she said “ I don't cook, I don't clean” most ladies took it on their selves to follow her lyrics, a few weeks later her husband (offset) leaked a video of her cleaning the house with her night wears, haha. Conclusion As in guy try to avoid public proposal even if you know that the girl is madly in love with you, precautions are better than cure. ***Lead image source*** https://pixabay.com/images/id-3618854/ 19/01/2022

One just happened in school just now, today is convocation and this guy proposed openly in the front of girls hostel. The girl said no and the guy refused to stand up. He received two slaps from the lady.
Chai, two hot slaps. It's too much na. 🥲😢
Hahaha. I wonder why ladies keep behaving in such an unruly and disgusting manner. No matter where a guy proposes, a girl deeply and truly in love with such guy would never embarrass him all in the name of the proposal not being in your dream place. They are just funny, although they are still some good but rare ones. It's a trending topic anyway. Thumbs up
Yeah, the good ones are rare
Well said....most girls want their boyfriend's to ask them the question (will you marry me) in a fancy place like domino's pizza,as a boy I'll suggest you don't ask a girl out in public it might not work out well as she might disgrace you in public.
Swears, precaution than cure
I saw some videos like this ,even the boy give effort to the but she rejected ,maybe shes not yet ready for a married life haha.
Some might not be ready, but I believe that the guy should know first before proposing
If a relationship is going to lead to marriage, the couples would know from the beginning, hence public proposal to me is nonsense. You can't possibly expect the lady to say Yes when she doesn't intend to.
That's true, public proposal is risky
Not that it's risky, the problem is that many men tend to push the truth away. If a lady will say yes, you'd already know , the only thing is those men have unrealistic expectations simply because it's a public place, they expect she will put on a charade in front of the crowd and say "yes". Unfortunately life doesn't work that way. Public proposal is not risky if you know what you're doing.
Some men just want a memorial proposal, that's why they want it public
Nothing more than show off! Once a relationship is about show off then it wouldn't last!
Especially on social media, it takes God for it to work.
I think it's not about having a flashy proposal. One thing some guys fail to understand is that the fact that you're crazy about her doesn't mean she's crazy about you too. The fact that you want to get hitched with her doesn't mean she want same thing. The fact that she says she loves you doesn't mean you shouldn't test the waters by asking questions before you propose
That's true, some guys don't make enquires
If is not about how the guy propose nor the venue, if the girl really love her man she would say "yes". Though mine always prefer not in public. I was glad my boyfriend now my husband no me well. He proposed to me privately, it's only two of us.
Private proposal is the best there won't be Unnecessary public drama
Right as I am not fond of public display of affection. But still a man should know his woman well in order for him to decide his proposal
Some don’t make enquires before proposing
I have head cases like this in the last where a lady rejects a guy's proposal. It maybe that he has caught him cheating on her in the past before but he never knew
It's never about cheating, that is not just it.
Haha, are you thinking about proposing and getting some tips? I think we prefer some privacy when it comes to popping up the question. Too bad for that guy who got his head poured with water. The girl might have been really shocked and didn't know what to do, lol! Some women may love the public proposal though.
😅Yeah, it happened one time in a KFC shore when a guy propose to his girlfriend in the store and the girl accepted, sometimes recorded them and posted them on Twitter that the guy was too local to propose in such a place, little did he know that his mockery when to turning into blessings when big companies started to look for the couple and were supporting them in their marriage plans. Sometimes public proposals might come as a blessing but some girls are too blind to see them because of their ego.
Haha, I think it's not about ego, but some prefer privacy. Lucky were those couple who got the break you mentioned, but it doesn't happen often :D
You might be right, maybe the guy made a mistake in the public proposal but does it cause a public disgrace? Like slapping him?
It's either they arent ready for that situation, many times it happens the more it's approaching ,the more hesitation will be there. They rejected those proposal cause sometimes of people who make barriers or hindrance to their plans.
Some are just taken unaware and boom 😅
Brother, the air of love is going on. You are enjoying it but shy I guess. Now you are assuring the facts. Love these all.
😅
It is natural for a lady to decline a proposal made in the public. No lady would want to be portrayed as OLOSO , ASEWO , PROSTITUTE in the public. To them it is being portrayed bad. Ladies generally don't swallow love pills quickly but men do quickly intoxicated by love drinks and that's why they don't feel embarrassed to even make their love intention known to a lady even on a Public Road. Thanks greatly for sharing. Great of you . Keep it up.
When a man propose in public, it means he won't want to hide his intentions toward her for the public
I hate surprises so this won't be effective to me. If ever that happens to me, he's no even popping the question I will turn my back to him once I saw it. Haha that's just me.
You want to ruin the surprise 😮
I'm not against public proposals but it usually turn out nice when the girl says yes. For now, I don't know how or which way I want mine to be haha 😂
😅😅 it will be a surprise.
😂😂 okay oo
