Thank You For Caring Me

I was driving alone in the darkness, I wanna unleash the pain that I felt on tha place that I want to see. It's already 9 PM and the way seems dark, I played the music on the radio to ease my boredom and also to enjoy the joyride even though I'm the only one in the car. I wanna feel happy for a moment, this night is too painful for me, I wanna escape in this world from while and sit back to a quiet place. I look at my phone then I saw lots of messages, I don't want to reply to them cause this night I want to be alone. Suddenly there's someone calling and I glimpse on it, i didn't realize that there's a truck in front of me, I overtake my car so that I can void in bumping but its already late. I've got hit in a tree and my consciousness starts to fade. I was hopeless cause it's a province and no one will see me there. When I woke up it's already morning, I am on unfamiliar place, I think I'm on cabin. I tried to move but my head and body is aching. I tried to look around and then a lady approach me. "Oh your already awake, wait I'll call someone". Then the lady got out, I was there at bed with green leaves on my forehead that tied with white cloth. I am trying to remember what happened when suddenly a group of people entered inside the cabin and check me. "Seems like your conscious now, we saw you yesterday evening inside the car and it seems like you've got an accident. You've got minor damage that's why we decide to bring you here at Bario Hospital to check you and seems like your ok". I am still confuse where Am I now, I feel afraid cause they might be planning to sacrifice me nor eat me in evening. Suddenly the ladycthst I've met earlier tell something, "Don't worry we're not aswang nor cult, we just saw you in verge of death that's why we helped you". Then I said sorry and say thank you to them for saving me.

After that they went out on my cabin cause they told me to take a rest, I take a nap then I didn't realize that I sleep to long, it's already evening when I woke up. I tried to stand and hopefully I can move my body. I went outside the cabin then I saw them having a dinner. When they saw me, they immediately approach me and guide me to my seat. "We thought your still sleeping that's why we didn't bother you, anyway we prepared a dinner already so let's eat now". I saw that kids are very excited, the leader start the prayer and everyone followed, after that they start digging to the food. I feel embarrassed but I have no choice, my tummy is already aching and it needs food. I start eating rice with fish and meat. They are very happy talking with each other while eating, seems like they knew each other and everyone in this community are friendly. After we finished eating, there's a signing and dancing, I lately knew that it was the captain's birthday that's why I greeted him. The night was full of happiness and laguhters, cause there are people who throwing jokes that's so funny. They look at me if I knew a joke then I tried, I can sense that it's corny but they still laugh to support me. I also joined the men in drinking Tuba or alcohol made of coconut. It's not a typical alcohol but it has taste of sweet and bitter. The night became more alive cause the men are singing. It's past midnight when they decide to stop and sleep already. I'm also sleepy that's why I went to the cabin and also took a sleep. When I woke up in the morning, I saw women busy cleaning the surroundings while men are at the farm far away harvesting crops, farming their livestock, kids are playing different games. When they saw me they wave their hands and the kids approached me, they wanted me to play with them. I miss playing those games when I was a kid that's why I joined them. They also approach the lady and asked is she can join. She said yes and we played a game.

The people surrounds starts teasing us and I can see that the lady is blushing, after we finished the game we're already sweating and having a bad odor, the lady gave me a cloth to wear cause I have no extra clothes when I was bring here. I asked them where's the bathroom but they just laugh at me, they saidbthey have the largest bathroom In the world and pointed out the river. I said sorry and run towards the river, I'm very excited on this one it's been years since the last time I swim at river. I pull out the shirt I wore then they saw my six pack abs and beautiful body, the women are looking at me specially the lady, I can see that other ladies teasing her to me. I just wave my hands to them and gave a smile. From that moment I was having fun on that place, I became attached to people and help them in daily life. I became close to the lady and I knew her name, she's Mia. She's beautiful and her father joke at me once that his daughter had no husband and he gave me a approval to court her daughter. I feel embarrassed on that, from that moment Miah and I became close. We cherish every moment we have, she gave me care like what a wife do. I also told him my problems and she's there always to support and hear my pain. I was sleeping with her that time, when I woke up I was on different place again. I saw a white light above, I tried to look carefully and then I recognized this place, I was on hospital.

There's people surrounds me, it's my family, I asked them where Am I? I didn't finished what they are saying when I realized that I forgot to say goodbye to the village and to Miah. But they stopped and hugged me, they said that I was on accident and there's someone saw me thats why they brought me to hospital. I was terrified that time causeit seems impossible, they also told me the truth that I was diagnosed with Schizophrenia, its like my whole world turns down. I want to run but I can't move my body, I don't want to believe in them. I want to be alone, I don't want to be with them for a moment, I didn't realize when I open my eyes I'm on the village again, I saw people around me, I asked them if they are true or not, they just smile at me and from that moment I realize something. My tears starts dropping and same as them, I sigh deeply and said, "Thank you for caring me".

I cried on this one, I feel like my whole life is full of sadness due to this story. I am thinking to make it longer but I just make it one shot story. I hope you'll like this one.
