There were times that we didn't expect to happen there are things that sometimes we take for granted that we only know the value when it is already damaged.
Hey guys, how's everyone today? As for me am okay as I need to be okay no matter what I need to be strong as im alone and far from my family.
For today's topic, I would like to discuss the dormant license which is we encounter this case as a big mistake of my husband I know how important to him to have a license, especially we are nearly having face-to-face classes.
It says when the license is inactive for over 2 years and hasn't been renewed they call it dormant wherein you go back again to take a medical exam, theoretical exam, and driving exam.
This is what happen with my husband's driver's license late did he know that his license had already 2 years expired.
I don't want to tell that it's because of no knowledge or it's because of purely mistakes of him as he followed the date of the Order receipt which stated his id is valid until December 04, 2020, On that particular date he goes to Land Transportation Office or (LTO)as he wants to renew it when he was already there and checking his papers the staff was telling him that he can't renew it's because its already 2 years been expired and that they called it dormant license and so the dormant needs more money than only renewal.
He was shocked upon knowing that it's been 2 years that he drove and that out of nowhere his driver's license expired good thing in that particular year he didn't encounter any traffic violations.
The expiration of his driver's license stated that it was 2018 but he does not follow it instead he followed what was in the order receipt it stated that his driver's license is valid until December 04, 2020.
This happens in 2020 when I told him that since we still don't have enough money to pay for his license which dormant license needs more extra money than renewing itself and at that time start for spreading of coronavirus and so it's okay to be late in processing those papers.
And now that we are nearly having a face-to-face class he badly needs it as for sure every day he can go to school for my 2 daughters' schooling as he is the one who sends and take them during school days.
Upon checking and inquiring about the possible amount of money to spend in processing the dormant license was quite need time money and effort as we already know-hows the ways here in the Philippines when we want to process papers if you don't have a backer then it will take time to finished things what we needed.
Mistakes happen to all of us and so as my husband, that's why though it's his fault why his driver's license becomes dormant but we can't do anything about it, but it leaves as a lesson to learn so that by the next time we must see to it that the information of our papers will be correct and we must aware this kind of dilemma in the future.

This is a very bad law that after two years the driver's license will be completely revoked, and you will have to pass all the exams again with more money.
Yes its true. 10 years n nga validity. By appointment nga yta simula ng ngpandemya.
Having an expired drivers licensed could be so scary... especially in my country, because once you mistakingly violate a rule and police happen to take over, the billing will be exorbitantly high

Sa fixer sis ang naka usap ko need 13,500 releasing na yan kung baga maghihintay nalang kasi kung hindi naman dumaan sa fixer pabalik balik kapa sa kanila at may chance pa ibagsak ka sa exam or di kaya sa medical .

It take process and time talaga sis nuh pero we don't need to choice but to follow kasi mahalaga sa pangkabuhayan. Agree sis. Kailangan talaga titingnan ang mga details ng mga papers natin para aware tayo at alam natin ano gagawin natin sis.

Thank you for reminding me about your driver's license. Mine also is expiring soon. I forget it because of my hectic schedule. As I was reading your article, I was shocked. How come LTO cannot renew his license even it was dormant? It is their duties. That is why drivers always rely on FIXERS.

Mahal jud kaayo ang fixer.. Pait kaayo. Sakit kaayo sa bulsa. Nigara mana ang LTO kay hasta man pd sila makakwarta man sa fixer. Laktud na pagkasulti, mga empleyado sa LTO fixer pd. Dili tanan lugar in-ana. May unta naa pa tarung na LTO karun.
Sakto gyud ka tunga gyud tingali na sila pabor kaayu to naay mga kaliwat nagtrabaho sa LTO kay sila man maoy mag una didto bisan pag unsa ka illegal pero daghan gihapun magbuhat ana kay naa raman sa sulod ang nagpasi ugda.
Mao jud! Di na jud na masulnad ang fixer kay hasta sila makabintaha man. Mas dako pa gd ila makwarta kada adlaw sa fixer kaysa sa ila sweldo.
