Reasons Why I Love Reading Online Stories Blog #160 February 16, 2022 Ever since I graduated from high school, reading stories is one of my favorite past times. During that time, pocketbooks were so famous and my sister had lots of those. Whenever I am left alone in the house, reading is what I did the whole day. I even don't care if I can eat lunch or not as long as I get to finish the book that I started reading. The year 2013, is the year that I knew Wattpad. During that time, I can still read freely even if I don't have a load for internet surfing. Even if we don't have electricity in the province but that doesn't stop me from reading. Sometimes I let my grandma bring my cellphone to the school because, in my niece's school, we can charge the phone. And if I am not busy, I went to my aunt's house to charge it and just get it after two hours. That's what I did just to continue reading my favorite stories on Wattpad. But I stop that habit when my phone is not functioning anymore. It was only last 2019 that I started reading in Wattpad again after I got a cellphone. I remember the story that I read that time is the famous story by Maxinejiji which is He's into her. I finished reading from book one to book three and I also read other stories that are related to those books.
****Reasons why I love reading.**** **It makes me happy**. Reading those stories written by my favorite authors makes me happy. Just seeing in the notification that the story is updated, I was smiling already. **It brings me to the other side of the world.** To those who are like me who love reading, they can relate to this. While reading the stories, I feel like o was one of the characters in that story. I sometimes put myself as the main character. It may sound funny but that's me when I am reading all those. **I learned from those stories.** Just like here in read. cash, when we read other articles, we find some words that aren't familiar to us, and to understand them better I need to look for their meaning in a dictionary. The same thing goes when I read some stories, there are many unfamiliar words that I encounter so I searched for their meaning and by then, I learned what it means. **It becomes my stress reliever.** Whenever I read, I forget my worries and stress because I was having fun reading especially when the story is all about fantasies. I like stories where the characters have supernatural powers and I also feel like I am one of them. I remember last year, I spent $3 just to unlock all the chapters of the story where I was hooked to. That money I spent is really worth it because the story is really amazing. The author really did well in writing it. Right now, I just stick to the stories that are free and I am happy to know that most wattpad stories are free unlike other online stories apps, it needed some coins to be unlocked. **That's the main reason why I am into reading online stories. Stories are not only about romance, it also gives lessons to us as well. It teaches us something that we could apply to our everyday life.** **How about you? 2019 was the year where I was interested on wattpad, it was suggested by my ex girlfriend and found it waste of time but when I start to read one story it got me hooked cause it was PS filled written by Inang but i finished reading it on part of Lemar since the story is already predictable. Then the next story I read is I love you Ara which is a paranormal mystery story filler with thrill and I don't wanna spoil its ending and who's the killer hahaha. Then the next story I've finished is I love you since 1892 which the main lead is Carmela and the last story I've read is Diary of Psychopath.

Yes sis, may learnings talaga tayo makukuha kung nagbabasa tayo. Sana katulad sayo sis book reader. Huhu ako hindi talaga. Siguro nung elementary years sis tas yung nung highschool nagbago. Hindi talaga ako palabasa sis.

I once tried reading on Wattpad, but I stopped because I can't find the right books for me. I did enjoy reading science fiction there, like highschools for people with powers. It was cool! And just like you, it's my stress reliever too! As of now, I'm downloading ebooks of the reads I can't afford. I'm currently reading six of Crows : D

I do read online stories and was also introduced to Wattpad years ago. There's this site also, Project Gutenberg, where you get to scroll through tons of free books as well, although those books aren't fresh works like Wattpad's writing was. You're correct though, reading books takes you on adventures to entire new worlds, and that's why I love to read as well. It's like a window into someone else's world, thought, and imagination. While reading a novel or stories especially love stories I feel like I am the lead actress that made me dream the impossible at daytime lol.
Stories immerse us in their imaginary world, allowing us to put ourselves in the place of the protagonist. Stories allow us to live in a parallel world. Stories are very powerful in making us feel good.
