Since I have been talking about friends on @HappyBoy and @Eunoia 's articles (sorry for the tag). These ideas suddenly appear in my mind. I supposedly don't have any mood to write today but when talking about friends, I just feel the rush of excitement though I only have few friends in real life. Well, better have true few friends than many fake friends, right?

I'm playing [Fellow Yellow by Shimono Hiro] while writing this. It's just an upbeat and merry song with an ad-lib of encouragement at the end to boost my mood to write because I honestly don't like writing. Though, since I haven't posted any articles yesterday, I just feel like I'm obliged to do so today. LOL 😆

The Fangirl

I have this friend that is one of the avid fans of BTS. Every post she has on Facebook is all about BTS. She often followed their live streams, their official accounts, and every newly released song or album. She also has a ton of merchandise stocked in her room and it's all about BTS. She will always recommend their songs to me but I'm used to listening to anime songs, metal, rock, Japanese acoustics, and Japanese Pop-rock. I can't really get used to another fandom but I tried my best. I managed to like "Butter and Life Goes On by BTS". Sometimes, I listen to Butter when I write 'cause the ideas also flow smoothly like butter. Wew.

The Skater Boi

This one is my very best friend. His hobby is skating. He skates every afternoon in the streets to the park and sometimes at the front of the Government Center because he is that crazy and brave in a foolish way. He skates at places where it is prohibited. Then, dash off when police, traffic officers, or a security guard scolds him. He brought his skateboard once at school and I tried it. Since I'm also a stupid kind of person who doesn't know how to use it but still tried it, I fell. Good thing, I haven't hit my head on the floor, or else I would be more stupid.

The Online Shopper

There is one friend that I have who always shops online though she is short of money. She is the only one among my friends who is like this. She is like a deaf person when I teach her how to budget her money. She would still click that "Add to Cart" button though her budget is insufficient. Then, she would chat with me or our other friends to lend her some. Then after you lend her, she would say that I should just give it to her as a gift because I didn't give anything on her birthday or any other occasion. Since she is also willing to help us whenever we need her, we just let it pass.

The Passerby

I have other friends that aren't my close friends. We just know each other in some instances and instantly we become friends. We rarely see each other or chat online but when we see each other sometimes, it is like we are best friends that haven't seen each other for a year. Some of them when my birthday comes will greet me with a message one paragraph length. It is much longer than my best friends would say and I'm shocked to see that every time. It makes me think that, "Am I really that good to them? I don't think I've done anything good to them."

The Online Friends

I have a lot of them, especially here in ReadCash, Facebook, and Telegram. I have many long-time friends on Facebook, though. They are my most reliable friends way back in high school more reliable than my best friends. LOL 😆 They are my tutors at Calculus and Multimedia Literary back then. They are also the kind of depressed people, so they said that they needed space from the depressing social media and deactivated all their social media accounts. I missed them now and I missed our freestyle roleplays, too.

My elders often say that,

"Tell me who your friends are and I'll tell you who you are".

I have heard this a thousand times as I grow up. But, do you think that this is true? We are influenced by our friends in some aspects but, do you think that this indeed defines us. Well, I think it is just their Boomer mindset. Do you agree with me?
