For us to get back on our feet, vaccines will have a huge part in our journey to recovery.
Though being said that, there are still people who are stubborn and don't want to get the vaccines. Well, not going farther, I have a friend like that. She's not used to injections, so she has anxiety about it. She strongly goes against the idea of it, no matter how I persuade her. I'm just a bit worried because she has a child at home. As we all know, children and senior citizens are more vulnerable to being infected by the virus. That's why I'm doing my best to persuade her, but she's that stubborn so, I can't do anything about it now. She just said she will take it if the government make it a mandatory order.
Aside from the reason of having trauma from injections, there are still other factors that hold people back from getting the vaccines.
Others would say that,
they are afraid because they have allergies.
they are afraid of the adverse effects.
they don't trust the vaccines.
In my opinion, there's nothing you should be afraid of. You can gain more than you may suffer from adverse effects if you get vaccinated. Yes, there are other cases wherein people are allergic to it. Based on my experience, there would be a medical screening first to know if you have some underlying conditions. And if you have, you will be closely monitored at the recovery area for 30 minutes to an hour after getting vaccinated. Mostly, if you are allergic to the vaccines, your allergy symptoms like rashes or difficulty of breathing will just show after a few minutes after getting the vaccines.
Before you could get vaccinated also, you will undergo a brief seminar wherein health workers will explain all the details about the vaccine that you will all be getting. They will also discuss the possible adverse effects and what to do when you experienced one. If you have read my previous blogs about my Covid-19 vaccine experiences, you may have an idea of what's going on inside the vaccination centers. If you haven't read it yet, here they are.
My First Dose Of Covid-19 Vaccine Experience
I don't get it why would other people still don't trust the vaccines. They trusted Ivermectin more instead which is not approved by the Department of Health and the Food and Drugs Administration. Some people have chosen that drugs more than vaccines which I don't really get the point of. I mean vaccines are made by the experts and trusted brands, approved by the World Health Organization, and have been taken by 47.9% population of the world with at least one dose. Ivermectin hasn't proved anything that it is effective at all. Up until now, it is still in the study. It was just carried out by the hype of the people who have experienced the placebo effect when they take it. Even the pharmaceutical company that made Ivermectin wouldn't claim that it's effective for protecting us from Covid-19. The hype was just purely psychological, in my opinion, joined by desperate politicians who are spreading fake news and badly seeking attention for they are not noticed by the public anymore.

Anyway, as I have told you earlier. You can gain more than how much you can suffer from adverse effects. Vaccines help to trigger the body's creation of antibodies and those antibodies will provide us protection once we got an actual disease-causing virus. Though it's not a guarantee that we will be all protected from the virus, at least, we wouldn't be put in severe situations if ever we get infected. I know people who got infected by the virus also, but since they are all fully vaccinated, they don't have any symptoms. Few have symptoms when they got infected here but it's just a simple fever and runny nose. Just only mild symptoms were gone after a few days.
As I was saying, please get vaccinated people. Don't let the virus get you first before realizing the importance of taking the vaccines. Don't be afraid of the adverse effects, you will be taken care of before you could leave the vaccination site. And if it triggers when you arrived home, the worst side effects just might be fever but don't worry about it. Just take paracetamol and it will be gone after a day. The soreness in which the injection had its way through is just normal, just let it be and it will be gone after a few days.
If you have the chance, take it immediately. You are luckier than those who want to get vaccinated but can't get it because they don't have enough supply of vaccines at their place. In the end, it's still your body, though. You are still the one who has the final say. As other people say on social media, "My body, my rules", but when they can't be allowed to enter some establishments, they will complain. It's also, "Their building, their rules", so what do they cry for that they have been discriminated against?
Before they can complain about being discriminated against, I hope that they should understand the employers also. Every week they have to conduct SWAB Testing on all of their employees, so they can be sure that no one is infected. And if there is, they can isolate them immediately. Swab tests are expensive and also the confinement of patients to the hospital when they got infected. Employers have to think and consider that factor since we are all experiencing pandemics. Income isn't still stable today, and not all businesses are fully operational but they have to provide work for the pitiful employees. So instead of spending too much on swab tests, vaccines are one way to help to lessen the burden.
It would be a protection for the costumers also, aside from the employees, if all the people are vaccinated. If we are all protected, restrictions will slowly be lifted and we can gradually get back to the things that we were used to doing. Businesses will boom again and the economy can recover. Please, don't be stubborn anymore, people. Let's just take the initiative to help each other. May the government's Covid-19 response, fail or not, we are still the ones who will suffer or celebrate.
So please, choose to get vaccinated now!
I've wrapped it up! 🥱
Hey, beautiful people who are reading this right now. Thanks for being here once again. I hope you have learned something from what I'm rambling about above. Don't be stubborn now, okay? I deeply appreciate it if you decide to get vaccinated.
Stay safe and take care of yourselves, beautiful people. Well, until next time the. See you!
From your broke Farm Girl, @Ayane-chan.
Good night, everyone!
No complains, if it was the case. But in reality it is "Their building, but State's (government's) rules". This is what these people complain about.
