For us to get back on our feet, vaccines will have a huge part in our journey to recovery.

Though being said that, there are still people who are stubborn and don't want to get the vaccines. Well, not going farther, I have a friend like that. She's not used to injections, so she has anxiety about it. She strongly goes against the idea of it, no matter how I persuade her. I'm just a bit worried because she has a child at home. As we all know, children and senior citizens are more vulnerable to being infected by the virus. That's why I'm doing my best to persuade her, but she's that stubborn so, I can't do anything about it now. She just said she will take it if the government make it a mandatory order.

Aside from the reason of having trauma from injections, there are still other factors that hold people back from getting the vaccines.

Others would say that,

  • they are afraid because they have allergies.

  • they are afraid of the adverse effects.

  • they don't trust the vaccines.

In my opinion, there's nothing you should be afraid of. You can gain more than you may suffer from adverse effects if you get vaccinated. Yes, there are other cases wherein people are allergic to it. Based on my experience, there would be a medical screening first to know if you have some underlying conditions. And if you have, you will be closely monitored at the recovery area for 30 minutes to an hour after getting vaccinated. Mostly, if you are allergic to the vaccines, your allergy symptoms like rashes or difficulty of breathing will just show after a few minutes after getting the vaccines.

Before you could get vaccinated also, you will undergo a brief seminar wherein health workers will explain all the details about the vaccine that you will all be getting. They will also discuss the possible adverse effects and what to do when you experienced one. If you have read my previous blogs about my Covid-19 vaccine experiences, you may have an idea of what's going on inside the vaccination centers. If you haven't read it yet, here they are.

My First Dose Of Covid-19 Vaccine Experience

I Got Fully Vaccinated!

I don't get it why would other people still don't trust the vaccines. They trusted Ivermectin more instead which is not approved by the Department of Health and the Food and Drugs Administration. Some people have chosen that drugs more than vaccines which I don't really get the point of. I mean vaccines are made by the experts and trusted brands, approved by the World Health Organization, and have been taken by 47.9% population of the world with at least one dose. Ivermectin hasn't proved anything that it is effective at all. Up until now, it is still in the study. It was just carried out by the hype of the people who have experienced the placebo effect when they take it. Even the pharmaceutical company that made Ivermectin wouldn't claim that it's effective for protecting us from Covid-19. The hype was just purely psychological, in my opinion, joined by desperate politicians who are spreading fake news and badly seeking attention for they are not noticed by the public anymore.

Anyway, as I have told you earlier. You can gain more than how much you can suffer from adverse effects. Vaccines help to trigger the body's creation of antibodies and those antibodies will provide us protection once we got an actual disease-causing virus. Though it's not a guarantee that we will be all protected from the virus, at least, we wouldn't be put in severe situations if ever we get infected. I know people who got infected by the virus also, but since they are all fully vaccinated, they don't have any symptoms. Few have symptoms when they got infected here but it's just a simple fever and runny nose. Just only mild symptoms were gone after a few days.

As I was saying, please get vaccinated people. Don't let the virus get you first before realizing the importance of taking the vaccines. Don't be afraid of the adverse effects, you will be taken care of before you could leave the vaccination site. And if it triggers when you arrived home, the worst side effects just might be fever but don't worry about it. Just take paracetamol and it will be gone after a day. The soreness in which the injection had its way through is just normal, just let it be and it will be gone after a few days.

If you have the chance, take it immediately. You are luckier than those who want to get vaccinated but can't get it because they don't have enough supply of vaccines at their place. In the end, it's still your body, though. You are still the one who has the final say. As other people say on social media, "My body, my rules", but when they can't be allowed to enter some establishments, they will complain. It's also, "Their building, their rules", so what do they cry for that they have been discriminated against?

Before they can complain about being discriminated against, I hope that they should understand the employers also. Every week they have to conduct SWAB Testing on all of their employees, so they can be sure that no one is infected. And if there is, they can isolate them immediately. Swab tests are expensive and also the confinement of patients to the hospital when they got infected. Employers have to think and consider that factor since we are all experiencing pandemics. Income isn't still stable today, and not all businesses are fully operational but they have to provide work for the pitiful employees. So instead of spending too much on swab tests, vaccines are one way to help to lessen the burden.

It would be a protection for the costumers also, aside from the employees, if all the people are vaccinated. If we are all protected, restrictions will slowly be lifted and we can gradually get back to the things that we were used to doing. Businesses will boom again and the economy can recover. Please, don't be stubborn anymore, people. Let's just take the initiative to help each other. May the government's Covid-19 response, fail or not, we are still the ones who will suffer or celebrate.

So please, choose to get vaccinated now!

I've wrapped it up! 🥱

Hey, beautiful people who are reading this right now. Thanks for being here once again. I hope you have learned something from what I'm rambling about above. Don't be stubborn now, okay? I deeply appreciate it if you decide to get vaccinated.

Stay safe and take care of yourselves, beautiful people. Well, until next time the. See you!

From your broke Farm Girl, @Ayane-chan.

Good night, everyone!

It's also, "Their building, their rules"

No complains, if it was the case. But in reality it is "Their building, but State's (government's) rules". This is what these people complain about.

I am one of these who will never get vaccinated no matter what. The reason is very simple: while the adverse effects of these vaccines are already well known, there is zero statistical (not anecdotal) evidence whatsoever that any vaccines have ever managed to stop any disease. Having this in mind, the rational decision is obvious: do not get vaccinated. There are other reasons also, but this is quite enough.

Hmm, if that's your perceptions about the vaccines, I respect it. But based on what I see and experienced, it is quite helpful. Especially when some of my family members and colleagues got positive from Covid. The vaccines have help them to survive, though not to fully stop the virus from infecting you, but help you not to get severe when you get infected. It is stated by experts also that it can't fully stop the virus from entering, that fact is indisputable. Well, we have freedom to choose for ourselves since it's our bodies , anyway. It's up for the people if they want it or not. I'm just saying based on what we have experience here, and I'm not an expert so I accept whatever opinions I can receive regarding this article that I wrote.

By the way, thanks for dropping by. 😊

How exactly do you know that vaccines helped your family members to survive? How do you know that they would have died if not for the vaccine? Just because experts in TV state it?

I could not blame them though. If you'd ask me, I would NOT get vaccinated if I only had a choice; I just did because it's the most feasible action at this situation.

But for me, a sound vaccine takes lots of years, even decades before it could claim to be safe. I could not keep my eyes nor ears closed to those people who suffered adverse side effects and even died due to the vaccine they claimed "really safe". Even those who suffered and died comprise only 1% of those who did, they are still people who have their lives wasted. They are a dear loved ones of others who regret theur actions.

I sound like a vaccine hater, even I am vaccinated myself 😂.

Anyway, I would really be mad if this becomes compulsary. People have a choice whether to let a foreign substance enter their body or not. If vaccines would be forced, where's freedom of choice for that.?

Yeah, we surely keep an eye for freedom but how about being free from Covid-19? Those who have suffered from adverse effects voluntarily risk their lives to test vaccines. Their consent has been taken before the vaccines have been injected into their bodies. Wouldn't it be a waste of their efforts if people still refuse? But yeah, we have the freedom to choose for our bodies, so we can't force people to take it. I'm jealous of those countries that are now Covid free because they have already attained herd immunity.

how about being free from Covid-19?

It's very easy. Just live as if there is no so-called "Covid-19". And it's not a joke and not burying our heads in the sand. Don't watch TV news about this so-called pandemic (in Russia we long know that all TV news are fake by definition, we call TV "zombie-box"), live a healthy lifestyle, no alcohol (I mean literally not a drop ever), no smoking, eat well, sleep enough, don't overwork, walk everyday in places where you breath fresh air, and of course don't block your breathing with these muzzles (called "face masks"), don't starve yourself of oxygen this way, and of course, don't panic and don't get these so-called "medications" if you ever feel slightly bad (though I doubt you will ever feel bad if you live healthy). And of course, do not inject foreign chemicals (so-called "vaccines") into your body. I personally live this life style for 11 years already and all this time never had any diseases, not a single time for 11 years. Of course, I am absolutely free of this (imaginary for me) so-called "covid-19". Everybody can live this way and also be free of this s*it.

Oh yes. Consent is such a good yet perilous thing. People who don't wanna get vaccinated know the risk of getting COVID, same as people who know the risk of side effects when they get vaccinated. Aren't we all (or most of us) considered test subjects, in a way? Because you know, vaccines are still in the early stages, and yet, it's been jabbed to us, via emergency declaration.

$ 0.00
3 years ago

Well, yes that is an indisputable fact. But if we could be less cynical about it, we'll know how important vaccines are in these times. I once object to getting jabbed too. When my colleagues got positive and other members of our family which some of them died and they were unvaccinated back then. My other colleague who is fully vaccinated got positive, too but they are asymptomatic. That's when my perceptions changed towards the vaccine.

Same here. Still 50-50 though, 😂 Imma wait two years.

$ 0.00
3 years ago

Hahaha. The problem today if you are not vaxed is you are restricted. You need to get an anti-gen test first before entering to some places, and that's expensive. It is one of the reasons that I agreed to get jabbed. I can't go home to our province without antigen results, but if I'm vaxed, the antigen is not necessary.

But if you don't plan on traveling, after 2 years is a good idea. 🤣

Not now, I am not closing the idea of getting vaccinated but somehow I don't want at the moment LOL. Reading facts about the vaccine and looking for conspiracy. I think it's a freedom thou if we get it or not.

We all sure have freedom, but sooner or later. The vaccinated ones will have more privilege than the ones who don't take it because the top priority is safety. If we can't attain that said herd immunity, we can't get our lives back to normal. Just like USA and Israel for example. Almost all of the population have taken the vaccines and now look at them, they are now enjoying their daily routines outdoors.

Nakakainggit sila, sa totoo lang. 😅

I’m in Nigeria and our things here can’t be trusted. I’m scared of having the vaccine because I’m asthmatic and I’m also scared of what will happen after taking the vaccine. I think I’ll summon courage to go take the vaccine

$ 0.00

No, don't be afraid. I have a colleague here who is also asthmatic. We have taken the vaccine together and he is just fine afterward. Just a little fever but can be alleviated by one paracetamol and it's gone. It's totally fine. Just bring medical certification stating that you are asthmatic so that the doctors there would know and they can properly attend to you or monitor you afterward.

We can see the benefits of the vaccine, the rates of people who are hospitalized daily, taken to intensive care and lost their lives. Those who are vaccinated easily pass the disease, while those who do not have more severe symptoms. Those who are not vaccinated lead the way in the rate of those who lost their lives.

Where exactly have you got this statistics (does it even exist?)? In Israel, for example, where 90% are vaccinated, death rate has risen to fresh highs, right after the vaccination campaign.

$ 0.00
3 years ago

Vaccination rates in my city are over 80% and because it is a tourism region, millions of visitors came from different countries all summer long, yet we are behind the country in terms of disease and death rates. In cities where vaccination rates do not exceed 30%, the rates of illness, hospitalization and death are high. Now you can say don't trust TV and government statements! This is not just what they say, but what we have observed ourselves. You may not be vaccinated, you have the right to choose, but there is no evidence that the side effects will be certain, just as there has not been enough time to review the vaccines.

$ 0.00

There are numerous factors that affect illness and death. What you breathe, what you eat and drink, how much you sleep and work, psychological factors (people are scared by TV news), how you are treated if you feel bad (or just tested positive with no symptoms), what medications you take and so on. How are these factors controlled for (excluded from affecting statistics)? Most probably, vaccinated people feel somewhat relaxed relative to unvaccinated, but scared both by the spread of the disease (as it is shown in TV news) and the adverse effects of vaccines. So vaccinated people don't panic if they feel bad. But what about people who live healthy and therefore are not afraid of diseases, as they have not had them for years? This is another group of people and it shows very different picture. I personally did not have any diseases for 11 years, even in winter, when it is cold and many people "catch flu". Of course, C-19 also missed me (so far). It's obvious for me that I need vaccines like a fish needs a bicycle :) . Why has no virus succeeded to attack me in 11 years? At the same time people who never left home and contacted nobody (self-isolated) get sick from a draft. Where have they got a virus? There must be something wrong with the virus theory. I know what is wrong with it, but it's lengthy scientific discussion. But we don't need it. What we have is that adverse effects of vaccines in some cases are proven, but positive effects of any vaccine (and not other factors) have never been scientifically proven using real scientific methods.
