Tanjo the Obedient Boy
Heyah! Read.cash fam, how was your day?
The weather is kinda gloomy and windy as if it is about to burst a heavy rain, and I can't wait to feel and listen to it's comforting and soothing sound when the raindrops hits the rooftop. How mesmerizing isn't it? Anyways, I am going to write two articles today because I've been missing a lot of days without writing anything and I want to hit my goal for this month as well.
So without any further ado, let's proceed to our main topic and let the blogging begin!
Tanjo the Obedient Boy
There was a young boy named Tanjo living in the mountains, where there are no access to technologies and far from vehicle pollution. He was an obedient boy, whatever his father tells him he always do it without grumbling. Tanjo usually woke up early in the morning to feed the chickens and leash their cows somewhere abundant in fodders and grass. Right after, he immediately went into their backyard to water the vegetables and goodies to sell it in the nearby market.
His birthday is just around the corner, and it will be celebrated on the next day. He seems so full of the joys of spring about what would his family give to him. But, he was not expecting for something big, because he is aware of the fact that they are poor. And his parents income are barely enough to sustain their daily needs.
On the next day, his father told him to do his daily duties, and told him to sell some goods in the nearby market. But, that day was his birthday and it seems like, they've forgotten this special day of him. They didn't even greet him a happy birthday or just tickle him to put a smile on his face.
He was worried, and overthinking why his family didn't greet him. "Are they mad at me? Is there something wrong with me?" He asked himself to ease the pain that he felt. After a while, he sold the goods he brought on the market and went back home. Although his sulking quite a bit but he just turned the situation positively.
While he was on his way home, he was uplifted a little, and expected that his family had prepared something for him. But when he arrived at home there seems no people around. He was too hungry, but he keeps on looking for his family. "Where are they? Ama? Apa?" He was looking everywhere but he didn't found anything.
Did they left me? He cried and sat on a wooden chair under the tree where he usually sits. But he found a letter on the arm of the chair. It was stated there that they were on the river and was waiting for him to come. That letter changes his mood and wiped his tears away.
He immediately rushed into the river and see if his family was there waiting for him. But, there's no body in there, it's so peaceful. He sat on a stone and cried again. But then he was extremely shocked by the loud voices singing a happy birthday behind him . It was his loved once carrying a box of cake and his favorite foods, they were just hiding on the bushes to surprise him.
He hugged his parents and grandmother, so as his relatives, his heart was filled with gratitude and joy for the birthday surprise, he haven't got any birthday cake in his entire life . He thought that they forgot about his birthday, yet he was totally wrong and they even made it memorable and special.
His parents hugged him tight too, acknowledging and appreciating his good deeds and for being such a blessing into their family, Tanjo is indeed a good and obedient boy.
Moral Lesson
We can say that the Boy named Tanjo represents all humankind while the parents represents the Almighty Father. If we do all things in complete obedience without complaining rest assured that God's promises are guaranteed in each of our lives.

I love the story Langga. It's really inspirational. It makes me emotional having my tears flowed from my eyes. Tanjo is really a brave boy even he noticed at first that no one greeted him, he still positive even he felt sad already.
I imagined the happiness that he felt while his family surprising him to his birthday. It was the most memorable day to him. Tanjo deserve all of it.🙏😇
