Why does life put us in difficult situations?
Life is not easy for anyone, maybe right now we think that it is easy for some people because there are many people who are millionaires, but do we really know everything they had to go through to get there? Or do we think that it is only really difficult for us because we are poor, but no, it is just a matter of fighting and fighting, until we achieve our dream.
There are children of millionaires who can become bankrupt, because if they did not learn from their parents and do not know how to manage money, sooner or later they can lose all their money. Also the millionaires themselves, if they do not know how to invest their money, they can lose it.
Life puts us in difficult situations because it knows that we can face them, you know our capabilities, our effort and sacrifice, that is why it puts us in those situations, so that we value each moment and we can face it and be better, and when we reach the goal we can enjoy what we have with greater joy than if we had been born with all the money in the world.

Lately Facebook has put me videos of celebrities or millionaires who suffered for their dreams and still suffer for their dreams, also of how they got there and all that, Facebook knows us a lot and knows how we feel, so it knows that these days I had not been very well, I even got to have some differences with Luis, but that was resolved in a few hours, so... All good, but Facebook keeps showing me those videos, but it is important to keep watching them and learning how people after failure started to move forward.
I will be these days talking about some famous people that maybe you didn't know how they got to where they are, they suffered and went through many terrible things, now they are millionaire people who are dedicated their dreams and helping others.
J. K. Rowling
I will start with her first, as I feel she is a very talented woman and suffered quite a lot, also because she is one of Luis' favorite writers.
Joanne Rowling, is the writer of the famous Harry Potter books, but before she became famous she went through many bad situations that she had to overcome in order to be who she is today. She is from the United Kingdom and since she was a little girl she had a great passion for literature and magic stories, she used to tell stories about magic to her younger sister so she could have fun.
From a young age Rowling was immersed in the world of literature, as it fascinated her so much so that when she grew up she studied a double degree in French and classical philology at the University of Exeter. This was also thanks to her great aunt, as she gave her Jessica Miford's autobiography as a gift when she saw Joanne's performance and love for literature, after this Rowling started reading all of Jessica Miford's books.
How did she start the Harry Potter saga?
Well, Rowling was traveling by train from Manchester to London, but the train had problems that made the trip was delayed 4 hours. At that moment she came up with the idea of a series of magic stories for children, this idea was about a magic school, with children who are wizards, but the main character did not know that he was a wizard.
The train journey continued to London and in the meantime she continued writing all the ideas about the story of Harry Potter, so much was her excitement that when she arrived home she continued writing.
Thus began the story of Harry Potter, an inconvenience on the train made Rowling had that magical idea.
Tragedies
The same year that Rowling began writing Harry Potter, her mother died. It was a devastating moment for her, as her mother was the only person who supported her in her writing life. Her mother had been battling multiple sclerosis for 10 years. Despite her death, the author continued to write, but felt bad that she never introduced her mother to the story she was writing about Harry Potter.
Joanne Rowling married and had a daughter, but that marriage was full of problems and violence, so soon after she left her husband and went to live with her younger sister. It is said that Joanne's husband was violent and alcoholic, so she had a lot of mistreatment from him. After a few years living with her sister, her husband came looking for her to give her more trouble so she put a restraining order and asked him for a divorce.
After all this Joanne began to suffer a lot more, she had depression and came to think that suicide would be the solution. But there was something that prevented her from committing suicide and it was her daughter Jessica, she knew she had to go on for her daughter.
She had many problems, she was unemployed, she was a single mother and lived on what the government gave her, so she began to have great hope and continued writing the Harry Potter book.
Failures and successes
Her first book was rejected by several publishers but she didn't give up until they approved her story. A year went by where she went to several publishers to see who would accept her story, but she was always rejected, until a small publisher accepted her book, giving Rowling an advance of $1,800, but the publisher asked her to look for another job, because it was going to be complex to make a living from writing books for children, but Rowling followed her dreams.
The publisher recommended a pseudonym for her books, because it would be complex to sell books for young people if they were written by a woman, so the decision was to put the initials of the author, so it was J. K. Rowling, but she has no middle name, the K comes from the name of her paternal grandmother who was a really important person in her childhood.
Books and awards
Two years after publishing Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, J. K Rowling received a grant of over $8,000 to keep her publishing books.
Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone won Rowling her first award, the Nestlé Children's Book Award, then won the Best Children's Book Award.
Rowling published the books Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, and Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, and both books received the Best Children's Book Award. Rowling became the first person to win the Best Children's Book Award three times in a row.
After that Rowling's life was filled with many more successes, she continued to write Harry Potter books, made movies and so on and so forth over the years. But she not only has books for children and young adults, she wrote books for all audiences and books for adults.
Forbes magazine named her as the first person to earn a billion dollars for writing books.
Donations
As she had a lot of problems to emerge, her money has been used for aids, charities, donations, etc. She has become the president of One Parent Families, which is an association that helps single-parent families, she also belongs to Comic Relief, which is an anti-poverty charity.
Rowling contributed money and support to research for the treatment of multiple sclerosis, the disease from which her mother died. She also contributed a large sum of money to the creation of the new Center for Regenerative Medicine at the University of Edinburgh.
