This or that questions;My version.
I was going through my WhatsApp status today when I came across a post that caught my eye. It was a series of questions, and I'd like to respond to them here.
These are the questions I'd want to respond to; feel free to share your thoughts.
Money or First class.
Money or love.
Science or Art.
Leader or follower.
Salary or hourly.
No company or bad company.
See the future or travel back in time to correct your mistakes.
1.Money or first class.
Choosing between these two can be extremely difficult for someone who is in desperate need of cash. If I had the opportunity to choose between money and a first class degree in my course, I would not hesitate to choose the first class degree, which may result in the school rewarding me, but I would not rely on it. Having a first class degree is one of the things I have been pursuing, so if I had the opportunity to choose, I wouldn't think twice about choosing first class over money.
Although most people would choose to fly first class over money as they may be in desperate need of cash when they hear the amount they would be given.
2.Money or love.
If I had to choose between the two, I would choose love. Some people believe that money can buy love, but this is not the case. Let us look at the definition of love.
Love is a deep affection for someone.
Money can't buy everything in the world; let's say it can buy 90% of things, but it can't buy love. Most wealthy people fall into the clutches of gold diggers who are just interested in spending their money and providing them with fake love, which they will abandon when the money runs out.
3.Science or Art.
I enjoy conducting research and all of the other activities that make us fall in love with science. I enjoy mixing chemicals together to see how they react. This reminds me of a practical we did in secondary school where we turned blue litmus paper red and red litmus paper blue.
4.Leader or Follower.
Being a leader is one thing, but being a follower is another. I think I'd prefer to be a leader for a change; I've been following people for so long that I believe I can now stand and direct them as well. However, a leader must possess a wide range of qualities in order to lead his followers in the right direction.
5.Salary or hourly.
Working and being paid hourly would be preferable to people who can't wait for the month to end so they can sort out their bills; I'd also love to be paid hourly and not monthly so I don't have to wait for 30 days.
Though getting paid monthly as salary is also good but most people can't wait long to collect their salary so they can sort out the bills they have.
6.No company or bad company.
I'd rather be alone than have a bad company of people who do things that are unacceptable. It's better to be alone than have friends who do dirty things like drinking or smoking since they will try to draw us into the act if we follow them, so it's preferable we be alone.
Having a lousy group of friends wouldn't help me; I'd rather be alone with no friends than have people I can't take out with me or who will most likely try to get me to do things I don't want to do.
7.See the future or travel back in time to correct your mistakes.
This question appears to be a little difficult for me to answer; I'd like to go back in time to correct those mistakes I've made in life, then return to my current position; seeing the future is also a nice thing, but correcting the mistakes we've made in the past is something we all want to do.
In conclusion.
Choose what is best for you rather than following others; remember that what works for one person may not work for another, so think twice before making a decision.
