Am i committed to my goals?
I was thinking of something to write about today but couldn't think of anything, so I went to Pinterest to hunt for a writing prompt. I'm glad I found one that I can do justice to.
Before i begin this prompt, ask yourself this question: "Are committed to your goals?" Most of us have forgotten about our personal goals; either something came up that caused us to abandon it or we simply forgot about it.
Let's start the prompt without any further ado;
1.Would i be proud of myself and my life if i continued to do what I'm doing now?
This is a difficult question, but I'll do my best to answer it. In terms of what I'm currently doing, which is trying to learn programming and graphic design, I'd say that if I continued with it, I'd be proud of myself and my life. We never know what the future holds, but I'm confident that whatever happens, I'd be happy with the outcome and proud of myself and my life.
2.Do i want to make a positive difference in my life?
I'd say a big "YES" to that, I want a positive difference in my life, I want to change from good to better and from better to the best, change is something we all need in our lives, though change varies from person to person, as for me, I'd like to change my habit a bit, you might wonder what's wrong with my habit, well let me let the cat out of the bag, I have this habit of almost always joking which isn't a good habit.I've attempted to change, and while it's been difficult, I've managed to do so over time and in many areas of my life.
3.Am i making the good use of my time?
Most of the time I sit down on a couch and reflect on my life to see if I am truly making good use of my time; I do schedule my time for doing things, but I rarely stick to it, which has caused me to stop scheduling my time because i know I won't; for example, I play games a lot, especially Call of Duty, which is my favorite; I literally spent 3 hours playing the game without realizing it was afternoon; I just need to make better use of time because i believe i am not.
4.Do i want my life to be difficult now and then become easier later, or vice versa?
Without much thought, I'd prefer my life to be difficult now and then become easier later; it's always best to face the difficult times now and smile later rather than the vice versa; if we wait until after we've enjoyed to face the difficult times, we may not be able to cope; the best is to face the difficult times now and then it becomes easy later; what are your thoughts on this?
5.Am i constantly,if not always thinking negatively?
I virtually always think negatively since they say, everything that has a positive effect also has a negative consequence, therefore I think both negatively and positively continually before taking any action in life.
6.What are my limiting beliefs?
Let me explain what limiting beliefs imply to us for those who are unfamiliar.
Limiting beliefs, also known as false beliefs, are beliefs that prevent us from achieving our life objectives and ambitions.
We all have limiting beliefs, if not one or two. Let me discuss some typical limiting beliefs. Most people are terrified of failure, and when you are afraid of failure, you will limit yourself to trying new things in life.
7.What is your biggest dream?
My greatest ambition in life is to learn programming and graphic design, which are the two things on my mind right now. I've started taking some online courses, which have been very helpful, but I'd like to get a laptop and practice more, which will take some time but I'm confident that it will pay off.
8.What brings you happiness?
There are many things that bring me joy, but one of them is surrounding myself with positive people and giving is one of the top things that makes me happy. Putting smiles on people's faces is one thing that makes me happy the most.
In conclusion.
I literally forgot that I haven't discussed whether or not I am committed to my goals, so let me do that now. Setting a goal is simple, but ensuring that you achieve those goals is difficult, which is why most people find it difficult to set a goal for themselves. It's one thing to set a goal, but it's another to ensure that you achieve those goals, so I'd say I am committed to my goals.
My advise to individuals is to make acceptable goals that can be attained, and to not just sit back after setting goals; we must go the extra mile to achieve our objectives. Be sure to set goals today and work toward them.
