The rain brought hail *****Control your emotions***** It seems the heavens is releasing its emotions today just like what happened earlier. I again went to my grandparents' house to be with family. Everything went well until after lunch when the children of our grandparents gathered and discussed things. Then emotions ran high and discussions got heated. Frustrations were vented out. It is quite normal at a stressful time that we can't control our emotions. We hold grudges that could ruin relationships. It may be a small matter to others but a huge one for others. That's why we have to sort out misunderstandings for we are not perfect. It is a continuous learning process for everyone. A small mistake may not even be the fault of the person you are holding a grudge. That person may not even know the reason why you despise him. A while ago, revelations were revealed from different parties that the others are not aware of. That's why it is important to communicate properly your feelings and concerns so it will be addressed right away. Don't let things get out of hand by telling your concerns to those who are not involved with whatever you have issues with. Especially within a family or your spouse, better to address them right away amongst yourselves. If you are really concerned about others and wanted to keep the relationship, communicate with each other. Settle your misunderstandings and don't hold grudges that you will regret the rest of your life. Choose peace, happiness and let love reign. Humble yourselves and forgive and forget. *****Doing our part to support our candidates*****
What do you do in promoting your candidates? Our election is happening next month. Posters are everywhere. I just hope that those supporters of whose face are there will be as diligent in removing those when election ends. These candidates and their supporters will go to every corners of their jurisdiction just to extend their reach. That is why posters can be seen everywhere. A friend posted in facebook that they put up a poster on their gate of the presidentiable that they are supporting. The next day, they found that poster on the ground. What's puzzling are two shells of eggs. The suspicion is that someone who doesn't support that candidate threw eggs on the poster and forcibly took that down. Is the poster a threat physically to you that you have to do that? Why are people so mad about a poster? My friend decided to put the poster on their roof. Another friend was asked through messenger regarding the worth of her vote. The person who sent that unsent it but before my friend screen captured it and posted that online of course blocking out the person who wanted to buy her vote. How much is your worth? While we were waiting for our ride going to town, a supporter of a certain candidate was distributing pamphlets, masks, rubbing alcohol and candies. Even though we are not voters in that said district, she said to spread a good word about her candidate and encourage those we know from that district to consider her candidate. *****We like gifts. Who wouldn't?***** Speaking of freebies, for the past days that I have been going to our grandparents' house, our aunt would distribute chocolates to the delight of all. These were just some that I was able to haul. Except for the Lotte, the small brown ones at the bottom for that was bought by my partner.
It's a fact that we Filipinos would expect gifts from relatives who came to pay a visit either locally or from overseas. I personally don't expect gifts but of course I would be grateful if I have received some. Most of the chocolates that were distributed were given to the kids. One of our aunts would grab a lot and then disburse those to the kids without her knowing that those kids have already hauled a lot.
Just a few minutes after I got home, the sky opened up and rain and hail fell down. Emotions and blessings in our lives are like the rain. Sometimes it's strong but quickly passes. Sometimes it's light but lasts longer. Sometimes it rains even if the sun is shining. Sometimes a rainbow appears too. Life is full of surprises but best of all, focus on your blessings.

I brought a tarpaulin and worn a rashguard with the same color of the candidate I'm supporting when we had our trip last week. Yupp, sometimes even if a not-so good thing happened, I still look at it as a blessing for I have learned something from it.
That's good. Let's promote in any way we can :)
Communication indeed helps in resolving conflicts. What that lady did by pulling down the poster was totally uncalled for. I've never experienced seeing hail fall from the sky, basically because of my country. I love it when it rains but hate it when the rain makes the roads muddy, slippery and wet.
Rainy season here can be troublesome too. Too much of anything is not fun.
I want to promote my presidential and local candidates. Since I am a government employee and they said we are non-partisan, we are discouraged to do campaign in any social media. We don't allow also even to make some comments about elections.
Some schools discourage their employees to do that as well. As much as possible, they should be neutral in social media.
We have our different ways of thinking and seeing faults. What maybe seen as an offense at someone might not be really a trouble to others. That's why it's good we communicate very well. In my place, we have these two rivals in a political party that have contested for a position. The hatred between them is only fued by their supporters and going down deeply, these two candidates are in peace. It's just be normal rival vibes causing misunderstanding between the supporters
That's the smartest way to deal with things - good communication. Politics is the same everywhere it seems.
It will never speak well of anyone that holds grudges, such a person should walk up to the other party and say his mind and they should settle everything right away. Family members shouldn't hold grudges hence it will affect their children and that is how families get separated if not careful
You are wise. That is how it should be.
It is very common to see a very large bombardment of advertising during campaigns, I am not a lover of politics since I am in a communist country where they fill us with false promises in campaigns and then they don't abandon
Same here. I've never been one dealing with politics.
Families shouldn't hold grudges against each other so that the trust can be there and it would be a peaceful place.
Removing the banner and throwing eggs are too horrible. I don't get it why people are so aggressive towards other parties they are supporting. Very inhumane. Anyways, yung chocolate talaga yung highlight haha.
Lol!
Elections, a short season of toxicity. You will see the most cringe, inhumane and dark sides of people during this time. No matter how good they will try to portray themselves, do your own research. Choose the best one if there's one!
Politics has always been toxic.
Dear friend, you said very beautifully that life is full of surprises. It is very common for children to quarrel after the death of their parents, this is normal everywhere. I hope, as you said, that everyone can solve their problems and misunderstandings together, and not be upset with each other.
I pray for the same too. I just hope that when the time comes, we would not be quarreling about small stuff.
I will express my support at the time of the election. ung boto ko enough na. Pero masarap sana kung may chocolates din akong matanggap hehe, ang saya kaya..
Lol! Tiwala lang. May matatanggap ka rin :D :D
I have read the article, it is true that the period in your area is in the nomination period. choose a candidate who has good integrity because to become a leader must be prioritized in a good way from his nature and character.
That's absolutely right!
oh malalaki ba ang hail jan sir? i had experienced one back in dubai and they can truly hurt! also, it's nice that you had a discussion with family....
Haha! May natira pa naman.
