Paradigm is shifting. Curiosity over blockchain based social media services increases exponentially. I'm pretty sure that in the near future these service providers will be endavouring to cope with the increasing number of the users :))

$10+10$ = $20.

The change worldwide will be slow and it's questionable if it will ever be more than what we have now. I live in a western world country but paying with a credit card isn't even accepted everywhere. If I transfer by a bank (everything I do myself) the payment arrived at the same moment, I can prove what is mine and it's easy to explain how it works. If it comes to cryptocurrencies to many it's a hard task to use it, change it, send it. The tax knows what I have and there's nothing I can buy for it. The government will cash in if it comes to earning but not promote it and the banks will fight it, not given up the world power they have. If cash no longer exists most people will not tell the difference. Just numbers in a wallet/account and a plastic card...

So cryptocurrency is not taxed by the government? And the range of uses of cryptocurrency is not that well-developed?

In my country, cryptocurrencies are taxed. I can not lay my hands on in anonymous or trade anonymous, neither spending it is. It can be traced. There are countries where this isn't the case. If you live in Venezuela it will be a lifesaver.

To me, it's a new way to invest, trade but I have fees, etc not different from bank fees and transfers aren't faster plus I have no proof and cannot knock on someone's door if it's lost. There's no proof I owned it either... that moment comes if I earn fast or trade and earn or change it into euro.

Oh I see. Is that why some are victims of scam?

That is a part of it but you can make a mistake too. Transfer to the wrong wallet address and it's lost.
