Personal Ramblings on a Sunday
Today is the last Sunday of the month. It's payday for those who are working and stressful budgetting for those people like me. This morning, I settled our electric bill via online. Actually it was already due last January 28, but I was waiting for the payday voucher worth โฑ100 which is today, unfortunately I guess I was late for there were no longer payday vouchers available. I am glad there's a 30% cashback worth โฑ90 so I claimed it and used it for my payment. Luckily our bill for this month went down a little. So therefore I got a little savings plus I got a cashback at the same time I used the extra coins which I save using the said online application. Oh how can I not love paying bills online. So convenient, it save my time and also got a cashback discount too.
Since I was already on my son's phone (I haven't bring my broken phone to the repair center yet) I checked my gmail account to check some emails. I received an email from hotels.com confirming the reservation of my friend as a gift for me and my husband for our 10th year anniversary which will be on March. It is a one day staycation at Conrad Hotel located at MOA. I am really excited for that well because it's free, and you know the best things in life are free.
Now going back to the email letter that I received, it stated there that the kids 12 years old should bring a proof of being vaccinated, and kids below 12 should present a negative rt pcr test within 48 hours prior to check in. My oldest son is going 12 on February 19, I am a little hesitant of getting him a vaccine but I guess I have no choice. My youngest is 10 so he has to take the swab test 2 days before our check in. Anyway the letter that forwarded was indicating that NCR is on Alert Level 3 and earlier I read a post that our city is now on Alert level 2, I just hope that by March the requirements would then change.
The kids and I watched Hotel Transylvania on netflix. It was really hilarious and the movie was about to finish when suddenly our connection stopped. Our connection has been like that since Thursday, the reason why I missed out posting articles in the past day. I am really frustrated about this because these days internet has been a apart of our everyday life. I guess you know by now how important is internet to us, mostly for those who are working that needs stable internet connection.
I called the customer service and already have my ticket number for my concerns. They told me that they put it on the priority list, and yet no one is responsing to it and thus our unstable connection continues. Earlier I was once again on the phone talking to a customer service assuring me that he will forward my concerns to the technical department and I should wait for their call within the day. According to him, he finally figured out the problem to our connection, therefore he is forwarding it to the right department that can manage to return our connection. I just hope he is stating the truth, because the last agent I have spoken to, told me that the technician would visit us the next day. I was really hoping the next morning, but no one came. As of the moment, as I was writing this article, our connection is back. The agent told me to monitor it for 24 hours and if the connection is stable, I should call the customer service for billing adjustments.
Okay, since the internet is back we will probably be watching some good movies and series. I am planning to watch this korean zombie series. In all honesty, I hate this kind of genre, oh well, time has changed my preference as time goes by. I hope the hype for this series will be worth it. Thanks for dropping by at my nonsense article for today. I wish everyone a good day and enjoy this beautiful day with our loved ones.
