"He who knows, usually speaks little; he who speaks much, usually knows little. He who delves into things, usually speaks with prudence and moderation". We started this post with such an interesting phrase, today we bring a very short story to reflect on life and people, we see it necessary to bring such an incredible reading, for all the people who make life on this interesting platform.
« I thank these beautiful people from the bottom of my heart for their support and dedication, if you still do not read any article about them or do not know them, we invite you to do so, it will be the best decision you've made in your life »
THE EMPTY WAGON
I was walking slowly with my father, when he stopped at a curve and, after a little silence, he asked me: "Besides the singing of the birds, do you hear anything else?". I sharpened my ear and answered, "I hear the sound of a wagon." "That's it," said my father, "a wagon, but an empty wagon. I asked my father, "How do you know it is empty since we have not seen it yet?"
Then my father replied, "It is very easy to tell when a wagon is empty, by the noise. The emptier the wagon is, the louder the noise it makes."
I became an adult, and now, when I see a person talking too much, interrupting the conversation, being inappropriate or arrogant, boasting about what he has or what he is, showing off or belittling others, I have the impression of hearing again my father's voice saying: "The emptier the cart, the more noise it makes". Humility silences our virtues and allows others to discover them, and no one is emptier than he who is full of himself.
This story leads us to reflect, concerning our attitude with the people around us, whether they are: family, friends, co-workers, fellow students, or simply our employers. Many times we have the mistaken conviction that respect is earned by acting with vanity, pride, and forgetting humility! for many a misconception regarding this value; being humble is not walking around disheveled or in rags, no, that goes beyond branded sneakers or a gold watch, it is to meet with oneself and question the behavior with the people around us. Showing off what you don't have, trying to overshadow brilliant people, using their weaknesses show how empty we are, the real change in the world begins with ourselves, we need to make an evaluation, see what we are doing right and what we are doing wrong, From @VirtualVariety we want people who take the time to read us and comment on each post, every day to reflect on life, to share this reading with their friends or family because it is time to improve as human beings, to reinvent ourselves, to grow, but always taking into account the values, and remembering this fascinating reading. Unfortunately, we did not manage to find the creator of this fascinating reading, nor phrase, however our total respect and admiration.
