Good day guys!
It's Monday again, and why is it so gloomy? For some reason, my mood depends on the weather. When the sun shines, I become very active and when it's gloomy I get so lazy. When I woke up, I finished writing, then I got ready for work and drove myself to work. The drive was okay because it wasn't too traffic. When I got to our workplace, me and my colleague fixed one of the rooms and put bedsheets and pillowcases. After that, we were just waiting for our doctor. Our Doctor then endorsed the patient to us and told us to treat our patient if his Blood pressure is at 140 mmHg and below. We then went up, when the patient so us he told us to come back because he just ate. I think he was traumatized from our last session because he vomited after our treatment because of his dizziness. So we went back to our department.
Last week, my colleague told invited me if I wanted to apply for a job abroad but we had to get different requirements. Now that we only had one patient who told us to come back, we took the opportunity to process some papers. We're really lucky because the University where we finished is just near our workplace. We just walked going there. Just look at the right side. I think those are all instructors who are trying to enter. They're all lined up because of the triage that they have to go through before entering school premises.
This is my alma mater, the University of Baguio. Before entering the main gate, we had to go through triage, stating our purpose and what department we are going to.
We went to the Admission and Records Center to get an extra copy of our Diploma and Transcript of Records(TOR). When we got there, everybody seems so busy and there was a line. At least there were chairs that were one chair apart to promote social distancing. We then got to the window and the person there gave us a piece of paper
This is actually one view that I missing seeing every day. I'm still amused that the patch of land that is full of trees is still there. I said to myself before that I would be really sad if those turn into houses.
We then had to pay 400Php for the Diploma and 300 Php for TOR. When we went to the cashier see seemed so unfriendly. I used to love the cashiers here compared to the other University that I went to before because they were really accomodating when I was studying but right now it was different, maybe the cashier was just really stressed out that day. When I paid she also gave me the wrong receipt because my name wasn't on it so I had to wait.
After paying the Cashier we had to go to Window 3. This was just for clearance that we don't owe the school anything when we used to study there.
We then went back to the records office showed our receipts. They told us to come back on April 7, 2021. We didn't expect that it would take this long before our Diploma and TOR will be released. It's in the gym of this University where one of the vaccination programs is taking place. It's nice reminiscing all the memories during our college days.
We then walked back to our workplace. We noticed that we still had time so we went to the Human Resources Department. This is located inside the University which owns our workplace.
While walking there, I was surprised that their fountain was turned on. It just looked so amusing to look at it.
We got to the HRD office and asked what do we need to fill up to get our Certificate of Employment. The person gave us a piece of paper to fill out. We were kinda stupid because we filled up something that we shouldn't have because it was for loans but the person said that it was okay and told us to come back after 3 working days.
While we were walking back I took a photo of their Christmas tree. I still don't know why it's still there. I hope whatever they are fixing there will be done soon because it's taking a lot of parking spaces. I want to go thru having no parking again.
We then got back to our workplace, got suited up, and went up to treat our patient. When we got to our patient he looked okay, but the problem was his Blood Pressure. We tried monitoring it for around 15 minutes but his Blood pressure won't go to 140 mmHg. So we just told him that we'll go back in the afternoon. We then disinfected and ate lunch. After lunch, at around 1:30 pm that's when we went back to our patient but his BP was still the same. So we informed the nurses about it and deferred our patient. When we got back down, one of our doctors was there and suddenly endorsed us his patient. Our oldest patient finally got the referral back after the peg insertion. But we only can do mobilization and we shouldn't get her tired. When we treated her, we were closely monitoring her Vital Signs because her BP shouldn't go below 80 mmHg and the Heart rate shouldn't reach 100+. We were able to finish her, but I feel so bad because she fatigues easily. Then we just waited for 5 pm to come. What made my mood good also today was that our salary finally increased after 2 years. It may be a little but it still counts.
When I got out it was really foggy, I'm glad that it didn't rain. I had to go and gas up our car because gas prices are going to increase again. Gas prices here are ridiculously high. It really sucks that whenever they have a rollback the week before the price would double the next week.
Going Home actually sucked because it was traffic wherever I passed. Our roads will really test your patience.
Finally, I got home, I disinfected and just used my sister's laptop because my brother was using my pc. And then we ate dinner and I watched some anime using my computer. I was also able to talk to my girlfriend and my nephew. Then I went to sleep. I hope that you guys had a productive Monday!
Thanks for reading and Stay safe always!
