Why are you still in Bitcoin Cash? How are you still here despite the fact that there are thousands of other cryptocurrencies that you can choose from? For me it is easy to answer, well, thanks to the BCH community my life has improved a lot in recent times. They have been there in my most difficult moments and have believed in me and in my baker project. For which I am very grateful.
However, for many other people who have not had the same luck as me it is difficult to understand or see the advantages or benefits that BCH has. Starting with maintaining the original idea of Satoshi Nakamoto and keeping everything within the same Blockchain.
These last few months have been very hard for me and my family. Thank God many of you have supported me and together with the hard work that I am doing on my part I have been able to be calm this last month. Which has allowed me to move forward in some projects that I have had postponed due to all the problems I have had.
With great enthusiasm I am resuming my project to promote adoption and share information about the BCH ecosystem with the Spanish-speaking public, called CryptoBakery. To promote it, I am looking to obtain a modest financing with which to buy some necessary equipment and promote my education on digital marketing and community management.
The project contemplates developing a central website along with several profiles on different traditional social networks (Instagram, TikTok and YouTube). From where valuable content will be published in order to promote the Bitcoin Cash ecosystem and keep this community updated with the latest news made by the developers.
I think this type of initiative is necessary to reach a wider audience, the information found from the BCH community is often very technical and the vast majority in English. Therefore, it seems important to me to promote with a more friendly language and in Spanish all the people who wish to participate in the BCH blockchain.

A few months ago my life suffered a major setback due to a car accident in which I was involved, running over a person with a psychomotor disability. I was even in prison for 4 days while the trial was taking place, after that I was sentenced to appear before the courts for 4 months without being able to leave the country. A month ago I am completely free, however, I am still aware of Samuel's situation who still needs to be operated on to achieve his complete rehabilitation; my mother's car is partially broken, thank God it is only a matter of bodywork but it cannot circulate like that. Exactly a month ago my life changed completely. On April 20, 2024, I had a serious car accident: unfortunately I ran over a person. I had previously told this story, however time has passed and I have learned other details.
The person I ran over is a 27-year-old young man named Samuel. Samuel is a special boy. Previously, when he was 9 years old, he was in an accident which left him with a motor and mental deficiency. Samuel's mother tells me that at 27 years old, mentally Samuel is a 16-year-old teenager. So it has been difficult all this time for the mother to deal with Samuel because she herself has also developed a serious illness: spinal cancer. His father is separated, however the Father is watching over him. Samuel, a young entrepreneur, used to sell coffee with a small thermos on the streets of our city, until one day his thermos broke and he had to get another job; This is how he started working as a bricklayer's assistant in a small Church located on the edge of the highway where the accident occurred. It turns out that on the day of the accident Samuel was crossing the highway improperly to go look for a new thermos that an uncle had given him. He offered to continue with his job of selling coffee. This is how small decisions change entire lives.
Today Samuel is much better, he is conscious and he is that happy boy again. However, he remains hospitalized; he has not been able to undergo surgery on his right leg due to lack of resources. We are waiting for a response from government entities. On the other hand, Samuel acquired a bacteria in the wound on his right elbow inside the hospital, due to the poor conditions of the hospital itself. Despite this, I am particularly relieved that Samuel is clearly recovering and will soon be able to sell coffee on the street again.

As for me, as I said before, before the accident my life was beginning to have better prospects. Since I started writing articles for Steemit, little by little I became convinced that I had a certain talent for writing. In my adolescence I was an average reader and consumed many classic films and arthouse cinema. The writing, the communicative act and my desire to get ahead was what led me to meet Bitcoin Cash; It was at Yours where I started to meet good people, I remember a couple of names who always supported me in my kitchen items, people who decided to follow other projects such as e cash or those who were scammed by coinflex and have suffered disappointment due to this fact. Others that I have seen have taken the leadership of the movement thanks to their great contributions to the ecosystem, people for whom I have great respect and admiration.
On the path of writing articles, I decided to seek support directly. At times when desperation and frustration were drowning my mind and soul. I was listened to by several good-hearted people who believe, like me, in honesty and work. Many have accused me of being a beggar or I don't know what else, however I have always been here telling everyone about my actions and words. Thanks to these people who have believed in me, I built my small bakery inside my mother's apartment, I managed to fix my mother's car that had not moved for more than 5 years and they have motivated me not to give up and fight for my dreams. Unfortunately, the bakery went through many problems due to causes beyond our control and linked to the chaotic situation of a country like Venezuela, which is very poorly governed by a group of corrupt thugs. These days I have been a little sick with an infectious flu. Unfortunately, I have not been able to buy any antibiotics and I have only been taking medicine to reduce the fever and control the sore throat. Today I find myself in a terrible and painful situation. Until a week ago I had a serious car accident with a pedestrian whom I unfortunately ran over. It was an accident because he tried to cross a highway that does not have pedestrian signs (it is a highway). The car immediately stopped, I took responsibility and went down to help him. This young man, named Samuel, is 27 years old and suffers from a special mental and physical condition at the time of the crash. Even one of the hypotheses that he is using is that he ran away from a family member to go visit another and at that moment the accident occurred.
Due to the crash, Samuel remains unconscious with cranial edema, he also suffered a fracture in his right leg and has fluid in his lungs. His condition is delicate despite being stable. He must undergo surgery on the fracture urgently and we are waiting to know if the edema should also be operated on. Initially, $4,000 is required for all of his treatment and the fracture operation. As a result of the accident, I was detained for 4 days. One of my worst experiences in life. I can never forget it. I want to make public the inventory of utensils and tools in my bakery. Part of this has been thanks to the BCH community, I bought my oven thanks to the Uniswap airdrop back in 2020. However, there I had already received support from the BCH community to buy my current phone (Xiaomi Redmi 9) . Then, I was able to buy the mixer along with most of the utensils when we started the Anticafé Pastisserie project, which, unfortunately, was not successful. And I was working my small bakery until I tried to increase sales but I have not been successful, despite having a good product, I have gone through many problems due to the situation in my country. My current plan is to use the money from this sale to boost my work as a community manager, and use part of the money to work on Binance P2P and make enough money to continue surviving and scrape together to buy back the bakery stuff. My bakery is for sale.
First of all, I want to deeply thank all the people in the BCH community who have helped me get my small bakery started from scratch. You don't know how deeply grateful I am to you and to life for this whole experience. And I am deeply indebted to you. and for the progress of BCH.
There are several reasons why I have put all my bakery equipment up for sale: the first is my desperation to get a better income, it is really difficult for me and my family to survive on $200 a month. Unfortunately, I was not able to realize the full potential of my bakery and the product of my hands, due to various situations beyond my control, consequences of living in a country with such a convulsed economy. The second is to implement the Community Manager plan, and have a livelihood while I find and gain momentum in this digital work, to be able to dedicate myself more to strengthening the BCH community in Spanish. What is it like to work in a brothel? My surreal experience.
I never imagined working in a brothel, or anything like that. Life never stops surprising you when you dare to live it. Those who know my story know that I am a baker and cook by profession, and that thanks to many of you. I had been able to start my small bakery from home. However, things have not gone well and you have to pay bills and survive in the troubled Venezuelan economy. And although at times I fall into deep depression and live with terrible anxiety about tomorrow, I don't stop fighting to get ahead with my family.
It all started when my real estate agent friend (who I am helping with his social networks and hoping to sell some property to be able to get paid for my work), got a new client to sell her property: none other than the most woman. known in my city Barquisimeto, its name “Luz Marina”.
Luz Marina, or simply Marina, is an icon of the popular culture of my city, since you were a teenager you start hearing about her. At first you don't understand, but when you grow up you already understand the jokes when a teenager has some effeminate tendency they say: this one should be taken to Marina!
The truth is that my friend came to her because a distant relative is the brothel's accountant. She told him that Marina was looking for someone to help her sell the building where the brothel operates. So he went to meet with her and got to work selling the building. During the interview she comments that she wants to boost the brothel while the sale of the building is achieved, and it is here that my friend did not hesitate to offer my services as Community Manager.
The next day I went to interview her and my friend accompanied me with her. First, we went to the brothel but she was not there but at her house. However, without even interviewing me, she told the manager that I could start working. So I started taking some photographs of the place (Something Dantesque and seedy) and of the girls. When we finished, it was night and we went to her house to talk to her about her work. Here I could begin to sense that everything would go wrong.
I introduce myself to Mrs. Luz Marina, who tells me she is 73 years old. Talking to her, I could notice her total ignorance about my work and the functions of a community manager, and even digital marketing in general. I could notice her absolute digital illiteracy. I was on the verge of not accepting the job, however, the lady was very kind to me at first and my friend also encouraged me to take the job.
That same night I got to work: I put together a content plan for the week, I created a basic visual identity to be able to work with aesthetics in the publications, I edited some photographs as best I could (the girls did not want to be recognized and I had to erase some tattoos with a app from phone). Likewise, I created new profiles on Instagram, TikTok and Facebook because she had no idea if she had any. It was a heavy night.
However, I did it with great hope of receiving reciprocity from the lady. However, it all started badly: the moment I sent her my proposals for social media, she started telling me what I should do, that everything was horrible and that was not what she expected. This was very shocking to me. But it was right here, when I realized that i was not in the right place to grow. All of her complaints did not have a solid argument, only that she did not like him and that the women did not see each other. But I didn't want to show anything explicit in the profiles, because they would block my account so I could make ads and thus take advantage of the famous name of this place in my city. The straw that broke the camel's back was one day when I went to do other shots to continue generating content and she dismissed all my work and effort without any argument and with some insults.
After this event, it took me a few days to definitively retire from this job. The lady never had the intention of paying me because she didn't understand anything about my work. I also realized that she did not know how to read and only communicated by voice note. Everything here was very frustrating and I knew that i had to get out of there. That night, I didn't have my mother's car and I walked throughout the center to the taxi rank, which luckily was still operating at that time. I took a big risk for nothing...

My life in Bitcoin Cash.
Tomorrow is my 30th birthday. I will surely share it with my family and a couple of friends. I am a man of few friends, very friendly. I try to be nice to a lot of people and help as much as I can... I just try to be a good person.
Taking a look at my path, I can see how I have tried many things to get ahead, a turning point in my life was giving up on university and dedicating myself to being a cook, from here my passion for baking was born. I fell in love with baking as I studied more: baking is ancient, mathematical and passionate. It is one of my favorite activities in life.
Before the bakery, I was immersed in learning Bitcoin, I came into this world in 2014, the first exchange I used was Poloniex, my first wallet was in Uphold, and the idea of digital money without intermediaries had fascinated me. At one point in my life, I really liked politics, one day I dreamed of being mayor, I listened to economic programs and I was interested in knowing how the State worked. This is why the idea of person-to-person digital cash seemed revolutionary to me, because this could lead the citizens of the world to increasingly detach ourselves from the State. It is really very hard for me to have so many obstacles to achieving my dream, when I have had it so close and literally in my hands. Perhaps at this moment I feel it further away due to the commitments I have made on this path. However, in my country there is a phrase that says “when the night is darker it is because dawn is near.” I cling to my faith and hope that everything will be worth it when I can sit calmly at a table in my own bakery or business...
What is the action plan?
In recent months I have seen the sales of my bakery go down, I use what is left of the profit to buy food and cover the basics. I have had to attend to some emergencies with the money from the bakery: medicine for my mother, times when I did not have enough food in my home or some repair for my mother's car or buying gasoline on the black market. All this in order to survive.
In the course of all the events as I have told in my previous Post, a friend has encouraged me to work as a Community manager or Social Media Manager. Although I have no formal training in these trades, my experience using programs such as Canva to design, Meta Ads to promote ads, CapCut to edit videos, knowledge of AI tools for design, my sense of aesthetics and my capacity for organization and enthusiasm make me have enough tools to be able to offer these services. For this plan I include my effort in being a Social media manager and community manager and generating enough to raise money to boost my bakery. I am just starting to create my portfolio with the help of my friend whom I am helping with his social networks as a real estate agent. I will also include in this portfolio my work for a rest home and my own bakery. Evaluating the market, my capabilities and the goals I want to achieve, I am organizing a budget for my hiring that ranges from $100 to $300 per month or project.

When the time came to fill the car with fuel, this gasoline was of poor quality, affecting the entire combustion system of the car. So it had to be repaired. However, we were able to keep the bakery going. July and August, a break.
At the beginning of July the situation had not improved and when I was able to fix the car, it was necessary to buy resold gasoline. This month something else happened that only happens here in Venezuela: the blackouts began again, and in one of them my internet was compromised, it was not until September that it could be reestablished and there was no compensation. And the whole problem was connecting a cable from the street to my apartment. Another urgent expense was buying medicine for my mother. Usually, the company where she worked (CANTV) provides them, but this month there were no explanations or reimbursements for the expense.
During the month of August, a friend recognized in me the potential to be a community manager, my friend is a real estate agent and he asked me if he encouraged me to help him with his social networks and I accepted the challenge. Motivated by low sales and the difficult situation that is returning to Venezuela, the crisis has worsened in recent months, it is said that 70% of new businesses have had to close in their first year of operation. The high cost of living only allows us to survive below what it should be. I have done the job of community manager to the best of my ability but it has not borne fruit due to the agreement I reached with my friend: I would only receive payment when a property was sold and unfortunately he has not been able to complete the sale of any. But this is not what exhausts me, this month I have felt that I am an absolute failure, my bakery is below the estimated turnover and it does not seem like it will improve, all my personal problems multiply with the problems of living with the deficit of public services. It is a very exhausting situation. I have lost entire days between waiting in line to get fuel, or electricity interruptions without prior notice for more than 6 hours a day, or even both at the same time. There is not a day of peace. I feel like I haven't moved forward, I have commitments to fulfill and my dreams are becoming more and more blurry. I really don't know what to do, I've been thinking about leaving the bakery and looking for a digital job or moving to another country like many Venezuelans have done. I feel like my fight has been in vain and I have failed everyone, especially my mother and my brother.

Another factor that has influenced my low sales has been the "recovery" of other traditional bakeries, my bakery was sought after for the quality of the bread and bringing it to your home, however, now the old bakeries have returned to making good bread and have better prices because they buy their inventory in large quantities. I have been affected by the reduction of many clients due to the economic crisis, making them more selective when purchasing.

The numbers from my bakery say it all: we are in clear decline. Expenses have sometimes been greater than income and I have used part of the reserve to solve personal emergencies or simply buy a little more food. Or in case of paying for my mother's medicines. I would like to continue trying to achieve my dream of having my own bakery but what I'm doing must be very wrong.

My experience in my 1st Flipstarter.
Greetings to the entire Bitcoin Cash community! I hope they are well. Grateful to the people who have supported me throughout this project, without you none of this would have been possible.
Today, I want to tell you about my experience with my first flipstarter. For those who don't know. **Flipstarter** *is an uncensorable peer-to-peer crowdfunding protocol designed to grow humanity's cooperation and mutual support by making fundraising easy, resilient, and more open.* I got this concept on Flipstarter.me and I will use it to develop this article.
I begin by saying that in all this time I had not been able to do a flipstarter, because it is not accessible to most people. You must have a certain level of computer knowledge to be able to carry out your own flipstarter, you must also have access to fiduciary money in an account in $ to be able to access and do it the "easy" way.
In my case I had to use a popular virtual card in Venezuela called Zinli to verify myself in DigitalOcean, to buy the domain and finally to use the flipstarter application within Digital Ocean. I confess that I did the last process with very little knowledge but I tried to be intuitive and I think I succeeded! The same thing happened to me to add the domain to the page, it was my first time and it was a bit frustrating not knowing what I was doing. And then I also tried to be intuitive again and it worked for me. I think it is because I have some computer knowledge and web pages. Another person without any preparation can simply be terrified by all the "weird" words that are in the way.
Then, already in this phase of "promotion" I have been relatively well received by many people in the community, I really hope they like the idea of my project. I think it's a real way to get organic adoption driven by businesses committed to BCH. So far the campaign has received 1% of the target, many thanks to **sandakersmann** for his input. ****Regarding the promises I have two observations****:
At the time of publishing the flipstarter, BCH was trading around $105/BCH and is now above $200. I think there should be some kind of mechanism that keeps the value of the campaign fixed at the beginning so that at times like this many people can make their promises more comfortably. And even if the price falls also this mechanism is necessary.
There are people for whom it is not obvious to make a promise either, this is because they only know how to transfer. And I say this because they have let me know. Perhaps there may be a way to make it easier for everyone.

Greetings to all the people who have supported this humble personal project that is my bakery. Despite all the difficulties, I am grateful to each and every one of the people who have allowed this project to take place. Not only me as an individual, but also my family, we have been able to maintain and better cope with life in Venezuela thanks to the support received to work every day for this dream.
We are excited to continue fighting for this dream and make it real and profitable. I love the bakery and I am happy to work in it. Despite the current circumstances in my country, I am optimistic about moving this business forward. For this initial period we have had slow sales, low for what I initially estimated. The general panorama of the country has not helped us to start as I had planned. Here is a table with the initial expenses for the month of April (in which I was repairing the car and doing what was necessary to avoid having problems with it again) and the balance sheet for the month of May. The numbers for the month of May actually contain part of the month of April but full operation began in the month of May.

My first E-Book about bakery: my experience with AI. (+ Flipstarter, BCH Adoption)
It is exciting for me to announce that I have written my first bakery book. I have written this little book or e-book supporting myself with the artificial intelligence of Chat GPT and I have also included images generated by AI through MidJourney. The purpose of this book is to be a product of my small bakery and encourage the adoption of BCH in the community of bakers, apprentices and the community in general that wants to start in the world of baking.
I can speak from my experience using this AI application, GPT Chat is really impressive, their answers to the sentences or questions are usually very accurate and not far from reality. The challenge when interacting with AI is to write "Prompts" or precise instructions to obtain satisfactory answers. I witnessed many errors that Chat GPT presents when talking about bakery, a topic about which your database may not have much information. The same happens with MidJourney, when creating an image, it is very difficult to describe the image that exists in our mind and pretend that through some indications the AI can reproduce it as we imagine it. However, I recognize how powerful and useful these tools are. In this case I am very satisfied with the images that I generate with your support and I have used them to illustrate this little book for beginners.

Why finance a project like PanXCafé?
PanXCafé is a small bakery that was born thanks to the support of the BCH community and it is time to make our contribution. The central idea of this project is to create a Bitcoin Cash adoption campaign around the bakery.
Why do adoption work this way?
Particularly, I have seen that adoption work that only involves downloading wallets does not lead to actual adoption. In many cases, the download of these wallets only proceeds because a reward is offered that will be immediately converted to FIAT or Stablecoin money. Without underestimating the great field work that many people around the world have to achieve the promotion and implementation of BCH wallets, this does not imply a sustained adoption over time. What is our history and how did we get here?
The story of PanXCafé is my own story. For several years I have been uploading content to get ahead with my family. I have done it on several sites, Steemit and Yours being the sites where I received the greatest reception. I still remember and appreciate several people, anonymous or not, who supported me during that time. I wrote recipes to be able to pay for my cooking classes, thanks to which I was able to get a job for a while and be a cook. Unfortunately, several of these people I have no longer had the pleasure of meeting, because some are in the BSV or XEC community or have simply disappeared from this environment. Then continue publishing on Honest Cash and finally on the much appreciated Read Cash.
My articles have always summarized my battle to get ahead despite the adversities that occur in the daily life of a convulsed Venezuela. General state of our bakery.
The business model of my small bakery is Dark kitchen. This model allows me to have more control over inventory with respect to daily sales. Unlike a traditional dark kitchen, as this is a bakery, its raw materials tolerate longer waiting times, so there is no fear of losing raw materials due to low sales. For now, my small bakery is capable of giving me a bit of a dignified life in Venezuela, however it is not easy to maintain a good rhythm with so many setbacks.
That is why we have decided on this business model, otherwise it would have been impossible to survive as a new and small business.
Currently, the net value of the inventory of utensils and machines is approximately $3,000 by my own calculation. In inventory of raw materials we maintain $800 in approximate value. Another vital element for our business model is transportation, thanks to your support I was able to fix my mother's car with which I work, however at the moment it is damaged again, its repair is urgent to continue with the bakery.
During the last three months, the bakery has maintained an average monthly net profit of $180, representing 40% of the sales price. This despite all the difficulties that have come my way so far: problems with my cell phone, damaged car, low sales, high cost of living. Periodically, through Read Cash I am updating the situation.
The previous table is a monthly summary of the general balance of our bakery over the last three months that it has been active. In December we had very good sales due to the Christmas season, however we had to cover some unforeseen expenses in materials for production and sale. In January, it started regularly, being historically a month of low sales, however, it got worse when my phone broke (which was fixed and contingently I received the orders through my computer without any problem) , and later the breakdown of the car.
From this same table, we can infer that our sales must reach 1045 items per month to maintain the balance between expenses and profitability. This number is not a distant number or foreign to us, however we must work hard to get there. This means that we must sell 35 items daily to maintain a healthy cash flow. This number is our break-even point, I have used an average of expenses between December and January, for monthly expenses; For the sale price and the cost of sale per item, I have taken the price and cost of our cinnamon roll as a reference (Sale price: $1, Sale cost: $0.56).
In perspective, our production capacity is greater than the number of items we need to sell, we can produce approximately 400 items per day. So, our challenge is to conquer the market, get more and more customers and be able to meet our daily quota.
What do we need to achieve it?
For this campaign we have built a budget to gain momentum in the following 3 months. In total we request 50 BCH divided as follows:
1. **For the bakery and its operation (20 BCH)**: (10) destined for the repair and maintenance of the only transport that the bakery has. (10) For the expansion of the current inventory.
2. **For the marketing of the bakery and the adoption project (20):** intended for the creation of campaigns alluding to adoption, including meetings, contests and games through the bakery's social networks.
3. **For the adoption fund (10):** intended for BCH rewards for promotions and discounts at the bakery. This fund will be kept exclusively in BCH.

Thank God, I have received enough support to start my small bakery and drive Bitcoin Cash adoption initiatives from it. I am very grateful to all the people who have believed in me and my project; They are an essential part of my motivation, as is my family and my desire to progress in life.
**To the Bitcoin Cash community and the people who have supported me**, anonymous or not, I feel very grateful and indebted. Likewise with Bitcoin Cash as a banner of the original idea of Satoshi Nakamoto and digital cash. Undoubtedly, Bitcoin as a concept and implementation has the ability to transform human relationships in a transcendental way.
**For this reason**, my commitment from my little trench is to make BCH known as it is to the people who surround me in my bakery (Customers, suppliers, other businesses, family and friends), despite all the difficulties. and criticism to which we may be subjected when defending our ideals. Without hiding the errors and shortcomings that it may have, Bitcoin Cash is undoubtedly the true digital cash.
**I strongly believe that this is an effective avenue for BCH adoption**: small and medium businesses powered by BCH. It is not an easy task, since the people in charge must have the conviction in BCH as digital cash, be good at business and have some economic stability. The first, to promote and implement BCH around the business, the second to make the business sustainable and prosperous, and the third to be able to meet the first two objectives without major delays. I speak of this from my experience, and it is that without the third characteristic, it has been difficult for me more than once to freely continue my work both in the bakery and for BCH.
**Currently**, I was ready to launch my first BCH acceptance campaign in my bakery, as well as educational and information clips about BCH through my social networks such as whatsapp, instagram and facebook. And I have had to stop until further notice because the car I use to distribute the products has broken down. Economically, it is unfeasible for me to fix it because I would be left without food for my family and not to mention that I recently had to fix my cell phone. The state of the bakery is reasonably healthy, it is a question of being able to fix the car and be able to continue.
**Returning** to the idea of starting businesses as adoption centers, the premise for this idea is, how to achieve an organic and massive adoption if people currently only seek to increase their FIAT? Stimulating the use of BCH through businesses really committed more by conviction than by money. Why through business and not education alone? Because the business seeks to stimulate the real use and therefore the need to have BCH, the education shows one more option of multiple currencies. The business implements, education strengthens the implementation. The business is likely to grow and be sustainable, education by conviction should be subsidized.
**In conclusion**, businesses as adoption hubs make perfect sense to me, since we can visualize them as validating nodes of the system, which have the ability to act as propagators of the use of BCH. But this only makes sense, with BCH being the native currency of these businesses, just as my small bakery has been.

On the general adoption, BCH and CBDC'S: perspective of a Latin American user.
INTRODUCTION
Latinos in Latin America often have the feeling of being underestimated by people in other countries, specifically in the so-called "developed" countries or how they have divided us for decades: first and third world (do you know where the second is or what it will be like? the fourth world?). In particular, we Venezuelans have a low perspective of ourselves by calling ourselves a third world country.
For this reason, on many occasions I reserve my right to comment on issues of the Bitcoin community, on the blockchain and adoption in general. But for this occasion I wanted to vent a bit about this issue that worries me and I would not like to have to say it, and what leads me to publicly comment on this type of bias that many of the BCH community and cryptocurrencies in general have. It is precisely because I think we need a bucket of cold water that will make us wake up and redirect our efforts.
SATOSHI'S VISION VS THE CURRENT VISION OF BITCOIN
Satoshi Nakamato gave humanity a great gift by creating the world's first currency that worked from person to person as digital cash without any intermediaries thanks to blockchain technology. Satoshi's goal was not only to remove intermediaries from the equation, but also for people to have sovereignty over our money and in a truly healthy economy. The concept of Bitcoin is clear, being digital cash from person to person, and its monetary policy is 21 million units divisible one hundred million times. Simple and therefore beautiful. A blow to the jaw to the status quo of the current government and powers. Bitcoin has the potential to be the standard in changing power relations globally. He only needs one thing... that people really want to use this gift.
And it is that, 10 years after this gift, from my perspective we can draw a very sad conclusion for me, but I think it is a reality: the bulk of the population is not interested in their freedom. Most prefer to feel safe under the responsibility of others. That is why they do not feel comfortable with freedom because it implies responsibility for ourselves. And being a user of Bitcoin, especially Bitcoin Cash, requires responsibility.
And how did I come to this conclusion? Here are three strong observations:
The failure of bitcoin as a currency and its speculative use: although there are people who can say that it is too early to announce its failure, I really don't see it that way. Well, in this era of applications, each update and each new implementation is quickly adopted by the bulk of the population and Bitcoin has not been able to do it. We can agree that most people have used or "entered the crypto market" for speculative purposes and not for real use or saving for a possible transition. Most of the miners that exist, for example in Venezuela, only talk about the amount of dollars they can generate with BTC.
Most of the users are on centralized exchanges and have not interacted with a blockchain themselves. I don't blame them, most cryptocurrency apps and wallets are complicated to say the least. And it is difficult to think that an elderly person or someone with few resources can access them.
In the countries with the greatest “adoption” people mostly use stablecoin, USDT being the most used. In Venezuela, for example, USDT is already widely used as a payment method through Binance Pay. Using another way is really rare, establishments do not use a blockchain to accept USDT but only the globally recognized exchange.
CBDCs RULE THE CRYPTO MARKET.
It is very sad to think that governments and central banks could take the gift of satoshi and use it to their advantage. But it is so, based on the three previous arguments we can affirm that the cryptocurrency market will be completely linked and controlled by the CBDCS because, the crypto market despite being an escape valve for the economic matrix in which we live, has also shown be a lucrative market. This is why, under the supervision of central banks and their governments, the crypto market will continue to exist as an instrument of speculation.
The pandemic has come to show us that most people will accept whatever governments and the mass media order and tell them that it is better for their lives. This is why it is not surprising that they also end up accepting or granting all power over their money without any resistance.
To conclude, only one thing comforts me... the blockchain will still be there. In particular, the one that most of us share… Bitcoin Cash will continue to exist despite the Orwellian world we are approaching and few of us are aware of how to escape any limitations that the world imposes on us.
