Let me tell you a story,
Sometime ago in a kingdom, there was a this very skilled hunter who never went hunting a day without coming back with so much spoils. He was so skilled that after the previous king died he was chosen as the next king.
This king had a very wise friend who was always giving him advice. The king didn't think so highly of his friend but only listened to him because they have known each other since child hood.
There is this statement his friend always made:
"My God is never wrong, everything happens for a reason"
This sometimes made the king confused but he never really commented on it. One day the king and his friend went hunting with his servant and they were attack by a lion. The king fought with the loin but before he could kill it his pinky finger was bitten off by the lion. He wasn't happy about losing his finger he said it made him feel incomplete, he asked his friend who always said "My God is never Wrong, everything happens for a reason" why his God couldn't protect him so his finger wasn't bitten off by the lion but his friend said I don't really known but I am sure "My God is never wrong, everything happens for a reason". The king became furious after hearing those words and asked his guards to throw his friend in prison for said there is a reason his finger was bitten off.. even though it was indirectly.
So another day, the king went hunting again but this time alone without his servant because the servant was still in prison. That day the king was captured by villagers from another community, they claimed that he trespassed into their land while hunting and that they would have to use him for sacrifice to their god.
The king pleaded but they didn't give ear to him. They tied him up and were preparing his body for the sacrifice when they discovered that his finger was bitten off immediately they untied him that he was unclean that they couldn't sacrifice someone who is incomplete to their god, that it would bring bad fortune, so that was ho they let him go. So when the king got back to his palace he remembered what his friend said about the fact that everything happens for a reason knowing fully well that if his hand wasn't bitten off then he would definitely have been used for sacrifice. So he asked them to release his friend immediately and when the friend came to him, he apologized and told his friend the story. Then he asked his friend if truly everything happens for a reason why did your God let me put you in prison. He told the king that if you hadn't put me in prison I would have gone hunting with you and they would have used me for sacrifice instead since I am complete.
Note: In life everything happens for a reason. Some are meant to teach you, some are meant to guide you, some are meant to make you appreciate more, some are meant to make you wise. Do not always see negativity from everything, try to see the good in situations.
Such a wonderful story... In life everything really does happen for a reason even if we often don't see it at first
