Givers Never Lack
That few words may look too cheap and easy to say but the reality is that, it has a deeper meaning than what you give it. Charity is the alm that as to do with giving out the little things that we have regardless of whether it is in abundance of not.
The phrasal words as being in existence for many years and hitherto no one has been able to prove it wrong. It is one of the philosophical statement that has stand the test of time and people always see it to be true at the end. When you give it from the little you have, you will notice that the little remains with you will become multiple. My friends have tried this and they conquer with the reality behind it.
Let me tell you the blessings in disguise behind giving out from the little you have.
1) when you give, happiness and joy will always locate you: if you are the type that gives from the bottom of your heart, you will notice that happiness will always locate you especially whenever you give out. In a day if you are unable to do give away, you won't just be happy. In summary, the joy of the givers lies in when they give.
2) Givers will always have something on themselves: those who give never beg. When they don't have people don't know and when they have people don't know. The givers don't lack because by the time nothing remains with them, people will come to their rescue with immediate effect.
3) Givers always get more than what they want: when givers lack a thing, they get it in multitude.
Be a giver and don't be a taker. Give more and don't beg for more. Give and you will never lack!
Why has Divorce become the norms of the day?
In the world today, according to research, more than 5000 couples divorce every day. More than 300,000 cases is filed in the court by households. The rate at which marriage is collapsing is alarming. Infact, the society has been coerced to embrace divorce as a norm of the day. Three months old marriage are being torn apart because of flimsy issues. Couples now go to court to file for divorce at any slightest provocation.
The society is not longer on hold, things have begun to fall apart. Children of the divorced are left to stub for their lives. Some couples after divorce left their kids to wondering around the community. It is also sad that the community no longer come to the rescue of fallen marriage. Everybody seems to be silent on it. We should know that the foundation of any Community is the family. That is,if divorce is taking too much ground in a particular society, then the society should expect the worse in the nearest future. The society should not forget that the children of the divorced are the leaders of tomorrow.
If the son and the daughter of the divorced become a leader or member of the larger society, they are likely to breed more fan of divorce into the society. A son may take after his father while the daughter will take after the mother.
There are two solutions to end incessant divorce rate in the society. These are as follows: proper orientation from a marriage counselor and having a better understanding of who you want to marry.
Current Effects of covid19
The Effect of covid19 pandemic on the world economy is disheartening. Most especially the working class and people living at the grassroot level have suffered financial setback while some have loose their jobs. Even though, there is a partial lockdown in some countries, there are some companies or institutions that are not allowed to reopen and as a result forced them to relief their employers because they can no longer pay.
Another impact of Covid19 on the economy is the GDP. The current status of many countries GDP is below 3% growth. The third world countries have experienced a lot of setback because they have little in the reserve. Even before the outbreak of Covid19, some countries have borrowed from the world bank's loan. Now that covid19 have ravaged their bilateral relationship with other countries, they have to no choice but to borrow more.
Thirdly, one of the institutions covid19 pandemic has really affected is the educational institutions. For the past 2 to 3 months ago, students have not been to the class. This has really affect their education. The WAEC ( west African Examination Council) have been forced to postpone their exam because it cannot hold out the classroom. Although, Students have been taking online but the reality is that, it can not work.
In conclusion, the world needs more prayer to breakthrough this covid19 pandemic chain. We also to take more precautions against the spread of Covid19. If we noticed that we have the symptoms, we should report to the necessary quarter. We should wash our hands with sanitizer, use our face masks when living and maintain social distancing in every gathering.

Without iota of doubt, the global businesses and international market are fast dwindling down as a result of the covid19 pandemic ravaging the world. Most countries now faces economic hardship most especially the developing countries and the populated countries. Countries like India, America, Nigeria, Pakistan have witnessed millions of workers loosing their jobs because the employees couldn't afford to pay their salary or wages.
Companies and Educational institutions could not afford to pay their staff therefore have to the principal officers and reduce the salaries if the junior staff. According to research, the rate of unemployment in the world has rises beyond 100 million.
Although, the WHO and other health Bodies should responded to this covid19 pandemic but they are yet to get the remedy to the deadly virus .
The economic Effect of the lockdown being melted on countries have to a long extent force companies to go into recession. One of such is the transport companies around the globe faces the economic backlash most. UAE, Qatar airways and other international airlines have loose billions of Dollars and are still loosing more has the countries remain under lockdown. With the situation on ground, it is not likely people will get back to work soon. Countries like India, Pakistan and America needs to thread softly because if they open the lockdown too soon, the spread of diseases may get out of hand.
The truth is will these countries wait for covid19 pandemic to vanish before reopening the country, it is left for people and analyst to answer.

Abu Hurairah (May Allaah be pleased with him) reported:
*The Messenger of Allaah (ﷺ) said, "He who utters a hundred times in a day these words: 'La ilaha illallahu, wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu, wa Huwa 'ala kulli sha'in Qadir (there is no true god except Allaah. He is One and He has no partner with Him; His is the sovereignty and His is the praise, and He is Omnipotent),' he will have a reward equivalent to that for emancipating ten slaves, a hundred good deeds will be recorded to his credit, hundred of his sins will be blotted out from his scroll, and he will be safeguarded against the devil on that day till the evening; and no one will exceed him in doing more excellent good deeds except someone who has recited these words more often than him. And he who utters: 'Subhan-Allahi wa bihamdihi (Allaah is free from imperfection and His is the praise)' one hundred times a day, his sins will be obliterated even if they are equal to the extent of the foam of the ocean."*

Qaylulah is Sunnah!
_The Qaylulah is a sunnah, it is a nap or rest (even without sleep) taken midday or when the sun is at its peak. It is usually taken before Zhuhr prayer unless the prayer is held early (in the beginning of its time) in which case it may be done afterwards._
You probably must have missed it alot. This is the time to pay attention to it.
Anas bn Maalik reported that the prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said *'take mid-day naps, for verily Shaytaan does not take mid-day naps'*
If you pay attention to Qaylulah, you have better chances to wake up at night for tahajuud.
*They used to sleep but little in the night.*
[Surah Adh-Dhariyat, Verse 17]
*Their sides draw away from (their) beds, they call upon their Lord in fear and in hope, and they spend (benevolently) out of what We have given them.*
[Surah As-Sajda, Verse 16]
'Abdullah bin Salam (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
*I heard the Messenger of Allaah (ﷺ) saying, "O people, exchange greetings of peace (i.e., say: As-Salamu 'Alaikum to one another), feed people, strengthen the ties of kinship, and be in prayer when others are asleep, you will enter Jannah in peace."*

Getting things Right
...as such, would any Muslim like to put on a dress with perfumes made from synthetic alcohol (ethanol), which by Islam is haram? The answer is No!
The reasons why many scholars fall victims of bringing Islamic fataawa to justify products of scientific and technological inventions are due to:
i. Lack of knowledge of science itself!!!
ii. Poor mind agitations and inquisitiveness about using science to create alternative measures to western perspectives of knowledge and its applications.
iii. Laziness and complete reliance on mode of knowledge interpretations by scholars of the past, and even the present, who are bereft of modern trends in knowledge and applications.
The beauty in Scientific and technological inventions is that you can invent and develop products for health, cosmetics, food and drinks, etc., based on your aims and goals.
Behold! all the products mentioned above, and many more, can be made without a drop of alcohol, such that they are halal for Muslims. After all, the Messenger of Islam, Muhammad (SAW) never treated, drank, perfumed his clothes, etc., in any way by what is haram (alcohol inclusive).
Therefore, there are way out for Muslims, via knowledge of Science and technology; your aim, methodology, and goal (Islam) of research are what really matters
Allah knows best, may He continue to guide us aright, amin.
Over coming the Trauma of Sexual Abuse
Sexual abuse is a shame no one there talk about it because of the stigma, rejection, condemnation, guilt,blame and the shames associated with it yes or no?
Sexual abuse healing journey is a difficult task to accomplished.....it takes lots of patience, right, counselling and genuine love to overcome the trauma to be human again.....the fact did you Kno every sexual abuse survivor have a deposit of the beast attitude... meaning they were once human but where treated like a whore and they birth the beast in them to want to devour everyone that comes close
A survivor would always see their gender counterpart as an attacker,they build a wall of defense around themselves.....they are aggressive they are no lone rangers,they turn to be bitter humans,,some turn to be a drug addicts , prostitutes, gambler's ......truth be told I can go on and on saying what some turn out to be, but when the foundation is destroyed ,they have been broken ,,,,so can you tell me what can the righteous do???
The truth is as a survivor ,the only which would come into your mind is *Revenge*😡...but the deed as been done already so sad😬.
It's hard to let go, it is hard to forgive, but you can, yes you can , but still you have to forget the past ,the point here is you need to heal ,leave the blame game, leave revenge, focus on yourself ,they're is more to life because the Almighty still have a better plan for you

What I learnt about the Hereafter
Ibn Al-Qayyim, (Rahimahullah) said:
A young girl died in an epidemic outbreak and her father saw her in a dream... So, he said to her: O my daughter, inform me about the hereafter !!!
She replied, "We have arrived here to face a mighty affair, while we used to learn, but didn't act by what we had learnt. I swear by Allah that a single saying of "Subhaanallaah", or even a single rak'ah of nafilah being in my record of good deeds is dearer to me than the entire world and all that it contains.."
The girl has indeed said something extremely important. She said
"We used to learn, but didn't act by what we had learnt", but many do not understand what she means.
~ We have learnt that, if we say "Subhanallaah wa bihamdihii" a hundred times, our sins would be forgiven, even if they were as much as the foam of the sea. (Yet, several days and nights go by us and yet, we do NOT say these words).
~ We have learnt that, two rak'ahs of Salaatu-Duhaa outweigh 360 acts of sadaqah. (Yet, several days and nights will past us and we do NOT observe Salatul-Duhaa)
~ We have learnt that, whoever voluntarily fasts a single day in the path of Allah, Allah would distance his face from the fire by seven trenches and also distance his face from the fire by seventy khareefs. (Yet, we do NOT observe voluntary fasts)
~ We are aware that, whoever visits a sick person would have 70,000 angels follow him back as he returns home, seeking Allah's forgiveness for him. (Yet, we have NOT visited the sick this week)
~ We have learnt that, whoever prays upon a dead muslim and follows the dead body to the grave until it is buried would have two Qiiraats of reward; and a Qiiraat is simlar to Mount Uhud in size. (Yet, several weeks go by and we do NOT go to the grave-yards to pray Salatul Janaazah on the dying muslims)
~ We have learnt that, whoever builds a masjid for Allah, even if it is the size of a bird's nest, Allah would build a house for him in Paradise. (Yet, we do NOT contribute towards the building of masjids; even if it is with as little as 10 naira)
~ We have learnt that, the one who helps a widow and her poor children is like the mujahid fighting in the path of Allah, and like the fasting person who doesnt break his fast at all, and like the one who spends the entire night doing Tahajjud and doesnt sleep at all. (Yet, we do NOT partake in the assistance of widows and their helpless orphans)
~ We have learnt that whoever recites a single letter from the Qur'an would get a hasannah, and a hasanah is recorded in ten folds. (Yet, we do NOT bother to recite the Qur'an everyday)
~ We have learnt that, the one who performs Hajj-Mabruur, his reward is none other than Paradise and he is recompensed by returning back to his homeland, just as the day his mother gave birth to him (i.e. with a clean slate of sins; all his sins washed away). Yet, we do NOT bother to fulfil the rites of Hajj, despite the fact that the rites are easy and have been simplified for us)
~ We have learnt that, the honour of a believer is in his getting up to pray Tahajjud at night, and that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him, his household and companions) were never negligent of observing Tahajjud all through their lives, even though they were pre-occupied with seeking for their livelihoods, and in spreading the religion of Allah. (But as for us, we are extremely negligent in this aspect of worship)
~ We have learnt that, the Day of Judgement is surely approaching; without any doubt, and that Allah would surely raise the occupants of the graves. (Yet, we do NOT prepare for this Great Day.)
~ We bury the dead, and pray janaazah upon them. (Yet, you act heedlessly, as though such a day is NOT meant for you!)
Know, my brother, and my dear sister, that every single breath we take in, moves us closer to our appointed times; to our ends, our DEATHS!
The time has come NOW, at this moment, for us to change our lifestyles and make the best preparation we can for the DAY OF. JUDGEMENT... (The day when a man would run away from his brother, from his mother, from his father, from his wife, and even his own children...) Because every one of them would have more than enough problems of his own to worry about.
So, glad tidings to the one who reads these words, understands them, and HASTENS to WORK with them ...
And may Allah (SWT) reward the one who sends them out to others.
Who is Asmah bin Bakr?
Asmaa bint Abu Bakr belonged to a distinguished Muslim family. Her father, Abu Bakr, was a close friend of the Prophet and the first Khalifah after his death. Her halfsister, Aishah, was a wife of the Prophet and one of the Ummahat al-Mumineen. Her husband, Zubayr ibn al-Awwam, was one of the special personal aides of the Prophet. Her son, Abdullah ibn az-Zubayr, became well known for his incorruptibility and his unswerving devotion to Truth.
Asma a herself was one of the first persons to accept Islam. Only about seventeen persons including both men and women became Muslims before her. She was later given the nickname Dhat an-Nitaqayn (the One with the Two Waistbands) because of an incident connected with the departure of the Prophet and her father from Makkah on the historic hijrah to Madinah.
Asma a was one of the few persons who knew of the Prophet's plan to leave for Madinah. The utmost secrecy had to be maintained because of the Quraysh plans to murder the Prophet. On the night of their departure, Asmaa was the one who prepared a bag of food and a water container for their journey. She did not find anything though with which to tie the containers and decided to use her waistband or nitaq. Abu Bakr suggested that she tear it into two. This she did and the Prophet commended her action. From then on she became known as "the One with the Two Waistbands".
When the final emigration from Makkah to Madinah took place soon aster the departure of the Prophet, Asmaa was pregnant. She did not let her pregnancy or the prospect of a long and arduous journey deter her from leaving. As soon as she reached Quba on the outskirts of Madinah, she gave birth to a son, Abdullah. The Muslims shouted Allahu Akbar (God is the Greatest) and Laa ilaaha illa Allah (There is no God but Allah) in happiness and thanksgiving because this was the first child to be born to the muhajireen in Madinah.
Asma a became known from her tine and noble qualities and for the keenness of her intelligence. She was an extremely generous person. Her son Abdullah once said of her, "I have not seen two women more generous than my aunt Aishah and my mother Asmaa. But their generosity was expressed in different ways. My aunt would accumulate one thing after another until she had gathered what she felt was sufficient and then distributed it all to those in need. My mother, on the other hand, would not keep anything even for the morrow."
Asma's presence of mind in difficult circumstances was remarkable. When her father let Makkah, he took all his wealth, amounting to some six thousand dirhams, with him and did not leave any for his family. When Abu Bakr's father, Abu Quhafah (he was still a mushrik) heard of his departure he went to his house and said to Asmaa:
"I understand that he has left you bereft of money after he himself has abandoned you."
"No, grandfather," replied Asmaa, "in fact he has left us much money." She took some pebbles and put them in a small recess in the wall where they used to put money. She threw a cloth over the heap and took the hand of her grandfather--he was blind--and said, "See how much money he has left us".
Through this stratagem, Asmaa wanted to allay the fears of the old man and to forestall him from giving them anything of his own wealth. This was because she disliked receiving any assistance from a mushrikeen if it was her own grandfather.
She had a similar attitude to her mother and was not inclined to compromise her honor and her faith. Her mother, Qutaylah, once came to visit her in Madinah. She was not a Muslim and was divorced from her father in pre-Islamic times. Her mother brought her gifts of raisins, clarified butter and qaraz (pods of a species of sant tree). Asma at first refused to admit her into her house or accept the gifts. She sent someone to Aishah to ask the Prophet, peace be upon him, about her attitude to her mother and he replied that she should certainly admit her to her house and accept the gifts. On this occasion, the following revelation came to the Prophet:
"God forbids you not, with regard to those who do not fight you because of your faith nor drive you out of your homes, from dealing kindly and justly with them. God loves those who are just. God only forbids you with regard to those who fight you for your Faith, and drive you from your homes, and support others in driving you out, from turning to them (for friendship and protection). It is such as turn to them (in these circumstances) that do wrong." (Surah al-Mumtahanah 6O: 8-9).
For Asmaa and indeed for many other Muslims, life in Madinah was rather difficult at first. Her husband was quite poor and his only major possession to begin with was a horse he had bought. Asma a herself described these early days:
"I used to provide fodder for the horse, give it water and groom it. I would grind grain and make dough but I could not bake well. The women of the Ansar used to bake for me. They were truly good women. I used to carry the grain on my head from az-Zubayr's plot which the Prophet had allocated to him to cultivate. It was about three farsakh (about eight kilo meters) from the town's center. One day I was on the road carrying the grain on my head when I met the Prophet and a group of Sahabah. He called out to me and stopped his camel so that I could ride behind him. I felt embarrassed to travel with the Prophet and also remembered az-Zubayr's jealousy, he was the most jealous of men. The Prophet realized that I was embarrassed and rode on."
Later, Asmaa related to az-Zubayr exactly what had happened and he said, "By God, that you should have to carry grain is far more distressing to me than your riding with (the Prophet)".
Asma a obviously then was a person of great sensitivity and devotion. She and her husband worked extremely hard together until their situation of poverty gradually changed. At times, however, az-Zubayr treated her harshly. Once she went to her father and complained to him about this. His reply to her was: 'My daughter, have sabr for if a woman has a righteous husband and he dies and she does not marry after him, they will be brought together again in Paradise."
Az-Zubayr eventually became one of the richest men among the Sahabah but Asmaa did not allow this to corrupt her principles. Her son, al-Mundhir once sent her an elegant dress from Iraq made of fine and costly material. Asmaa by this time was blind. She felt the material and said, "It's awful. Take it back to him".
Al-Mundhir was upset and said, "Mother. it was not transparent . "
"It may not be transparent," she retorted, "but it is too tight fitting and shows the contours of the body."
Al-Mundhir bought another dress that met with her approval and she accepted it.
If the above incidents and aspects of Asmaas life may easily be forgotten, then her final meeting with her son, Abdullah, must remain one of the most unforgettable moments in early Muslim history. At that meeting she demonstrated the keenness of her intelligence, her resoluteness and the strength of her faith.
Abdullah was in the running for the Caliphate after the death of Yazid ibn Muawiyah. The Hijaz, Egypt, Iraq, Khurasan and much of Syria were favorable to him and acknowledged him as the Caliph. The Ummayyads however continued to contest the Caliphate and to field a massive army under the command of Al-Hajjaj ibn Yusuf ath-Thaqafi. Relentless battles were fought between the two sides during which Abdullah ibn az-Zubayr displayed great acts of courage and heroism. Many of his supporters however could not withstand the continuous strain of battle and gradually began to desert him. Finally he sought refuge in the Sacred Mosque at Makkah. It was then that he went to his mother, now an old blind woman, and said:
"Peace be on you, Mother, and the mercy and blessings of God." "Unto you be peace, Abdullah," she replied. "What is it that brings you here at this hour while boulders from Hajjaj's catapults are raining down on your soldiers in the Haram and shaking the houses of Makkah?"
"I came to seek your advice," he said.
"To seek my advice?" she asked in astonishment. "About what?"
"The people have deserted me out of fear of Hajjaj or being tempted by what he has to offer. Even my children and my family have left me. There is only a small group of men with me now and however strong and steadfast they are they can only resist for an hour or two more. Messengers of the Banu Umayyah (the Umayyads) are now negotiating with me, offering to give me whatever worldly possessions I want, should I lay down my arms and swear allegiance to Abdul Malik ibn Marwan. What do you think?"
Raising her voice, she replied: "It's your affair, Abdullah, and you know yourself better. If however you think that you are right and that you are standing up for the Truth, then persevere and fight on as your companions who were killed under your flag had shown perseverance. If however you desire the world, what a miserable wretch you are. You would have destroyed yourself and you would have destroyed your men."
"But I will be killed today, there is no doubt about it."
"That is better for you than that you should surrender yourself to Hajjaj voluntarily and that some minions of Banu Umayyah should play with your head."
"I do not fear death. I am only afraid that they will mutilate me."
"There is nothing after death that man should be afraid of. Skinning does not cause any pain to the slaughtered sheep."
Abdullah's face beamed as he said: "What a blessed mother! Blessed be your noble qualities! I have come to you at this hour to hear what I have heard. God knows that I have not weakened or despaired. He is witness over me that I have not stood up for what I have out of love for this world and its attractions but only out of anger for the sake of God. His limits have been transgressed. Here am I, going to what is pleasing to you. So if I am killed, do not grieve for me and commend me to God."
"I shall grieve for you," said the aging but resolute Asmaa, "only if you are killed in a vain and unjust cause."
"Be assured that your son has not supported an unjust cause, nor committed any detestable deed, nor done any injustice to a Muslim or a Dhimmi and that there is nothing better in his sight than the pleasure of God, the Mighty, the Great. I do not say this to exonerate myself. God knows that I have only said it to make your heart firm and steadfast. "
"Praise be to God who has made you act according to what He likes and according to what I like. Come close to me, my son, that I may smell and feel your body for this might be the last meeting with you."
Abdullah knelt before her. She hugged him and smothered his head, his face and his neck with kisses. Her hands began to squeeze his body when suddenly she withdrew them and asked:
"What is this you are wearing, Abdullah?"
"This is my armor plate."
"This, my son, is not the dress of one who desires martyrdom. Take it off. That will make your movements lighter and quicker. Wear instead the sirwal (a long under garment) so that if you are killed your awrah will not be exposed.
Abdullah took off his armor plate and put on the sirwal. As he left for the Haram to join the fighting he said: "My mother, don't deprive me of your dua (prayer)."
Raising her hands to heaven, she prayed: "O Lord, have mercy on his staying up for long hours and his loud crying in the darkness of the night while people slept... "O Lord, have mercy on his hunger and his thirst on his Journeys from Madinah and Makkah while he fasted... "O Lord, bless his righteousness to his mother and his father... "O Lord, I commend him to Your cause and I am pleased with whatever You decree for him. And grant me for his sake the reward of those who are patient and who persevere."
By sunset, Abdullah was dead. Just over ten days later, his mother joined him. She was a hundred years old. Age had not made her infirm nor blunted the keenness of her mind.
Unity bears power, discord stems shattered glory
It is my delightful pleasure to hear from your eminence sir, the reason behind my poised question to you, mainly boils down to the narration of the prophet where he says, "The souls are mobilised forces, an acknowledgement of which bears intuitiveness and discernment of which stems incongruity. Reported by Abu Hurairrah(may Allah be pleased with his soul).
In spite of this, and without approaching this matter with any sense of admixture or companionship to the stringent (strict) sect as the only creed advancing in condemnation and opposition to our faultless and flawless path, following suit the word of the most high,where he made exegesis on the believers, relaying their status quo as regards the prophets and apostles. saying " We don't discriminate amongst ourselves on any of the messengers".
Undoubtedly, our scholars that has graced this blessed relief of ours ,had their activities on similar pathways, the pathway to Knowledge, politeness and comprehensive acquaintances.
Why then do we their progeny disintegrate ourselves,when the minds of our predecessors envelope and garment one another not withstanding their varying locations and times.
Delphing into discuss on the three foremost scholars that took the limelight of their time, the likes of Sheikh Yuusuf Al Abhaji, Sheikh Kamaludeen Al Adabiyy and Sheikh Adam Al Aloori.(we solicit continuous shelter of the beneficient lord on them). They all are figurative brothers of the same mother , each of them expounded the hand of generousity to the other where they happen to be in the same district of cordiality.
Where then did the discrimination and singling out sprouted from?. Though, every denomination is obsessed with that within his confinement, but the most paramount of all is our Unity, for the fox devoured none but the forlorn sheep. And it is pertinent to know that our originator did not named us Muslims if not for the harmonious submission of a party to the other, for effective socialization in order to acclimatize the bounties and goodies of this worldly life and the hereafter.
For white and black is seemingly one in the sight of Allah, only piety holds the dividing line between us .
Moreso, "The Arab is in no way dignified above the non Arab and there is no preference for a non Arab over an Arab, the most honoured of men, is the highest one in piety".
Of what reason, do we then blaspheme and pervade over one another, we are brothers, successful one indeed for the words of our predecessors is encumbered in the oneness of Allah, and their trails are for the monotheism of the one lord. To the extent of making their efforts commemorate one another in all walks of life. But we disentangle the nation of the beneficient lord (Allah) just like the dissociation of Alif from Ba after it is evident that they both emanate from the Arabic alphabets.
It is high time we woke up from our slumber and rekindle the lost glory of our nation.
"It is incumbent upon you, to associate with the good people whenever you hope for a relationship, for associating with good people brings forth advancement."
Our aimed goals is far more than mere amusement and mockery, it is upon us to seek auspicious redress by pitching our tent with the people of the past for a reflective intervene.
The mighty Lord says "and lower the wings of your shoulder for the believers"
It is apposite on us to acknowledge the fact that one whom Allah has honoured, no one can humiliate, and one whom Allah disgraces no one can venerate. For ignominy is made easy for the ignominious and the dead, feels not the pain.
Above, are the (heart) grievances of concerned men over their vibrant progeny as Sheikh Ahmad Yaasin said during his lifetime (Allah's perfect peace be upon him)
" It is high time we unified ourselves,for we Muslims by default are not weak people, we became weak the moment we started to disintegrate ourselves and every one of us irrevocably became busy with his personal ordeal, a pitiable situation!! ".
At this juncture,we have no alternative than for the callers of truth to reintegrate this warring nation.
It is then upon us, to live amongst ourselves with cordial dealings and amicable resolve of our diverse affairs at any point in time, for we all would be accountable and blameworthy of our sheep.
And when a generous person builds, he loves not to see his structure crumble.
This little artefact is nothing but a reminder of heedliness for anyone who wish to seek a glorious path to his lord the most high.
And everlasting peace on those that follow the true guidance.

Politics and Government : The Islamic perspective.
There is no contention over whether politics is required or not. Islaam emphasizes the essence of politics beyond what any other civilization contemplates. The difference between the Islaamic and secular perspectives to politics however lies in what decision is taken, the mode, basis, purpose and the goal of taking decision. The following verse of the Qur’aan addresses this subject matter accordingly:
“And it is He (Allah) Who has made you the Khaliifah (inheritors) of the earth and raised some of you in ranks over others so that He may try you in that which He has bestowed on you. Surely, your Lord is swift in retribution; yet, certainly He is also Forgiving, Merciful.” (Al-An’aam, Qur’aan Chapter 6 v 165)
The terms Khaliifah (vicegerents or inheritors), ranking some people over others, bestowal of divine provisions and the fact that man shall be taken to account regarding how the divine provisions are utilized, are all indicative of the use of leadership or government and politics as effective public decision-making tools in human affairs. Those (i.e. the leaders) said to be of certain degree or rank above others in this verse, are the Messengers and Prophets of God as well as the human leadership who follow the footsteps of the seal of Prophethood, Muhammad (s a w). While the leaders are those ranked certain degrees above others, those above whom the leaders are ranked are the followers (or the masses). The fact that the Messenger of Allah, Muhammad (s a w) upon whom Allah confirms the title of the leader of the whole world has also been acknowledged and accorded the most influential person in history by both the Muslims and the non-Muslims alike, is a testimony to the fact that politics is not only an essential aspect of human/social life, but it is also natural with, and inseparable from Islaam.
It follows that in Islaam, political responsibility or leadership is a divine trust. It is neither “the minority have their say" nor "the majority have their way.” It is neither “the majority carries the vote” of the democrats nor “the survival of the fittest” of the Machiavellians (the autocrats). It is also not “the dictatorship of the tyrants”.
Politics under any civilization requires influence, power and authority. In Islaam, these are not solely subject to human desires, but in accordance with the will of Allah (God). This implies that leaders under Islaamic system of government exercise authority, power and influence or take decisions on behalf of the divine being. In Islaam, sovereignty is that of Allah Alone. Human sovereign body is not recognized. The goal of politics in Islaam is a fulfillment of the divine will which results into peace and harmony required for a meaningful and successful human life.
On this basis, the negative pejorative sense in which politics is often seen in secular context, and the feeling that politics is a dirty game do not apply under Islaam. From the perspective of Islaam, politics is a lawful and necessary tool of life activities and positive development.
From the fore-going, it is understood that, the issue of politics, government, state, sovereignty, power and authority have to do with the entire life of man. These concepts or principles have direct bearing on the success in the affairs of every individual or the entire society of mankind. The community of a people that does not concern itself with these issues or which does not have its own position on them is likely to be at the mercy of some other civilisations that are more concerned with them.
The crucial pivot around which all these issues revolve is life goal. When Muslims fail to pursue the divine or their genuine life goal, they are then left with the option of accepting the whims and caprices of the prevailing secular power which determines human activities.
The genuine life goal of the Muslims notwithstanding, Muslims stand the risk of failing to attain it should they decline from conducting their life affairs in accordance with the basis of their being Muslims - the true Islamic ‘Aqiidah. It is therefore unfortunate to note that some Muslims are contented with secular governments or authorities, toying with their life goal.
Understanding and appreciating the imperativeness of politics and government is indeed sacrosanct. It is however impossible to evolve a government of a people’s choice without effort. In order to replace an existing undesirable government with an ideal one, this effort becomes imperative. The effort or striving or struggle based on sound ‘Aqiidah and justified Gaayah (goal) of Islaam is called Jihaad in Islaam. In the history of mankind there is no known successful system without Jihaad. In other words, history and human experience have shown that every system that has evolved and every government that has emerged, irrespective of its origin, philosophies, goals and context, must of necessity have made Jihaad the most vital approach to its success.
The imperativeness of Jihaad is implied by the slogans “no government without power and no power without government” as well as “there is no power without authority” as “there is no authority without power”. In other words, to attain power, a government must be put in place. With a government in place, attainment of power is feasible. Power is equally of no effect without authority. When a government has authority, it is considered to be possessing genuine political power and when the government has authority, its power is considered relevant and effective. It follows that it is impossible for the modern or westernized Muslims to hope to attain the divine set goals without Jihaad.
Refusal to do Jihaad is indicative of weak ‘Aqiidah (faith). A people of weak ‘Aqiidah, unprepared to wage Jihaad, are considered neither having comprehended the concept and methodology of an Islaamic government nor will they be able to operate one if it falls on their laps. The idea of these brands of Muslims arrogating power to themselves in the name of innumerable chieftaincy, traditional or religious titles such as Emirs, Obas, Obis, etc, is a mere self-deceit and illusion as their assumed power absolutely lacks any iota of authority. Obviously, much as these titles connote power, their holders cannot and do not have the moral or legal rights to pass Fataawa (rulings) concerning serious issues and crimes like Rida (apostasy) Zina (adultery and fornication), armed robbery, abandonment of Salah (prayer), decline from fulfilling Zakat (compulsory alms giving), etc. In fact the so-called Muslim leaders cannot even take a stand on any matter especially if such a stand contradicts the position of the secular state or government to which the authority and sovereignty has been ascribed.
In Islaam, sovereignty and authority belong to Allah (s w t). The divine authority is exercised through the Islaamic leadership (Khilaafah) on earth. No known Islaamic leadership emerged without the Jihaad approach to securing power, authority and all that are required to decide the affairs of, (or govern) the people in the society. The secular system of government is cognisant of this reality and this is the secret of its global enthronement and popularity. Unfortunately, the believers or Muslims of the modern age have declined from implementing the guidance that has come to them from Allah to govern the universe. The Jews and the Christians had already become guilty of this offence and Allah had for this, promised them of punishment.
“(And remember) when Allah made the covenant with those who were given the (divine) books, they were asked to spread the teachings of the book to mankind and not conceal them; but they cast it behind their backs and sold them for a petty price. What a bad bargain they made! Those who rejoice in their misdeeds and love to be praised for what they have not actually done, should never think that they will escape the punishment; in fact, they shall have a painful punishment; for all the dominions of the heavens and the earth belong to Allah Who has power over all things.” (Aal-‘Imraan, Qura’aan Chapter 3 v 187 – 189).
It is made explicit from these verses that Allah is the Originator of everything, to Him belongs sovereignty and the determination of all affairs. In Suratul Mu’minuun, Chapter 23 of the Qur’aan, Allah poses and answers the questions of who is the creator of everything? Who is the controller of all affairs and to whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth? The divine answer is that all these are Allah’s. In the process of posing the challenging questions, Allah probes further the prowess and credentials of spirituality or divinity, intellectual and proactive operation of human affairs which human beings arrogate to themselves. Muslims who are the adherents and proponents of Islaam, the only divine cause are under obligation to go about the Islaamic struggle seeking to replace the secular system with the Khilaafah (the Islaamic system of government) by ensuring that sovereignty, power and authority are due to Allah Alone. When Muslims assume this posture, fulfillment of the will of Allah, the Supreme Being is the primary concern. The goal is the divine design to liberate human beings from the oppression and servitude of man to man, to the servitude of man to Allah alone. Since the sole purpose of man’s existence on earth is to worship Allah, Allah does not approve of any form of hindrance on the path of His faithful servants to serve Him accordingly. He has therefore mandated the believers to always rise against secular power, ensuring that the divine will is fulfilled.
In pursuit of this mission, the Prophet (s a w) engaged the unbelievers in about thirty eight (38) Gazwah (military expeditions) within a period of ten (10) years. These battles were all precipitated by the attack on the Muslims by the non- Muslims or secular powers for the singlular reason of invitation of mankind to embrace the divine way of life, Islaam. This aversion to the divine mission notwithstanding, the divine mandate to defend the divine cause is further enjoined in the injunction:
Permission to (fight back) is hereby granted (to the believers against) whom war is waged and because they have been wronged; certainly Allah has power to grant them (the believers) victory – those who have been unjustly expelled from their homes only because they said: “Our Lord is Allah.” Had not Allah checked some people by means of others, the monasteries, churches, synagogues, and mosques in which Allah’s praise is daily celebrated, would have been utterly demolished. Allah will certainly help those who help His Cause; and most surely, Allah is Mighty, Powerful. These are the people who, if We give them authority in the land, will establish Salah (Prayer) and pay Zakah (obligatory charity), enjoin good (or divine justice) and forbid evil; the final decision of all affairs is in the hands of Allah. (Al-Haaj, Qur’aan Chapter 22 v 39-41).
From the divine injunction of the Qur’aan Chapter 57 v 25, it has been made explicit that before the secular conception of how government should be structured, it had been stipulated in Islaam that government is of the legislative, executive and judicial arms.
Khilaafah (Caliphate) in Islaam is the central government of regional and national entities, state governments inclusive. The structure of the society into the legislative, executive and judicial arms or functions, must be in accordance with the divine dictate because Islaamic government is poised to execute divine rule on earth. Conscious Muslims or The Islaamic Movement is therefore not to compromise the “spiritual foundation, the intellectual basis and the radical or pro-active operation” in their pursuit of genuine Islaam or establishment of the Islaamic government. The stiff global struggle and opposition of the secularists against the Islamic struggle notwithstanding, the Muslims are not to compromise the actualization of the divine mandate. The Islaamic government if established however adequately caters for the interest of the non-Muslims alike. The Muslims’ existence under secular state/government is an abbreviation. Islaamic government should rather prevail over human affairs, determining the rights and expectations of the Muslims and the non-Muslims alike. It is when this is pursued and accomplished that man’s purpose of creation or man’s life goal is attained.
While majority of mankind are misguided and cajoled into embracing the secular worldview and authority, those who sincerely wish to pursue and realize the goal of life are admonished further as follows:
Surely, in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the night and the day, there are signs for men of understanding. Those who remember Allah while standing, sitting and lying on their sides, and meditate on the creation of heavens and the earth, (they say): “Our Lord! You have not created these in vain.“ Glory to You! Save us from the punishment of Fire. Our Lord! Those whom You cast into Fire will be in eternal shame and there shall be no helper for such wrongdoers. Our Lord! We have heard someone calling to the faith saying; “Believe in your Lord”, so we have believed. Our Lord! Forgive us our sins, remove from us our evil deeds and make us die with the righteous. Aal-‘Imraan, Qur’aan Chapter 3 v 90 – 93).
There is no contention of the fact that man’s purpose of creation is to serve Allah through adherence to the divine dictates. It is in this that salvation resides. For anyone to be safe from the torment of Allah and be among the fortunate ones in this world and the hereafter, one must shun deceit of this world and abide by the reality of establishing the government of Islaam which guarantees absolute servitude to Allah and thereby attain the goal of life – the goal of the Islaamic or Muslim Society. This is the true perspective to the issues and essence of political power and government in Islaam.
The Islamic ways of Training a Child.
No amount of koboko, blaller or dogonyaro stick can discipline a child as much as the word 'fear Allah'. If that sacred word can no longer deter your child from evil, then nothing else will.
*If you want it to have an effect on your child, you need to inculcate the love of Allah and a firm Aqeedah in their innocent hearts right from the cradle. A pregnant woman is highly encouraged to listen to the Quran a lot as the foetus in its third trimester can actually hear the sounds of things around it. If they are familiar with the Quran before birth, they will easily adapt to it after birth*

Whenever you want to discipline your child for a crime, always mention Allah in your warnings, for instance you may say:
Hasn't Allah (not haven't i) warned you not to steal?
Won't you fear Allah and stop lying?
Allah does not love the stubborn ones.
Allah does not love arrogance.
Allah doesn't like dirtiness.
Respect the elders as Allah commanded you.
*Remember how Luqman the wise usually admonishes his son as narrated in the Quran, he never warned his son about himself, rather he warned his son about Allah.* A very good example is:
ﻭَﻻَ ﺗُﺼَﻌّـِﺮْ ﺧَﺪَّﻙَ ﻟِﻠﻨَّﺎﺱِ ﻭَﻻَ* ﺗَﻤْﺶِ ﻓﻲ ﺍﻷَﺭْﺽِ ﻣَﺮَﺣﺎً ﺇِﻥَّ ﺍﻟﻠَّﻪَ ﻻَ ﻳُﺤِﺐُّ ﻛُﻞَّ ﻣُﺨْﺘَﺎﻝٍ ﻓَﺨُﻮﺭٍ
*Do not turn your face away from people *and do not walk on the earth arrogantly, for*verily Allah does not love the boastful ones (Luqman Vs 18)*

Many mothers are fond of saying things like:
-I will teach you the lesson of your life today.
-I will make you a scape goat today.
-I didn't kill my parents so you can't kill me too.
-Them send you to me?
-The devil that has possessed you will see shege from me. etc
You are only making the child to fear you, you haven't really mentioned Allah. All these disciplinary statements only makes the child fear you, it doesn't prevent the child from doing that sin in your absence.

Some other parents also think that constant flogging is the best way to raise a child. A time will come when you will grow old and become too weak to flog that same child, your child is growing stronger towards his youth, while you are growing older towards your grave, so a time will come when the whips will not pain the child anymore, rather he might even be laughing while you are flogging him, by then you will realize that you can only bend a leaf and not a tree. Blallers used to have just one 'mouth' in the past. yet it nurtured sane children, but today's blallers has four mouths, yet the society is filled with corrupt children. Nothing rectifies a child like Taqwa, once it's missing, nothing else can replace it, nothing else...
Why Tasbih is permissible in Islam
*Imam Dhunun al-Misriyy’s* name is *Thuban bin Ibrahim*. He was from *an-Nawbah*, an area that is in Egypt, he had a lot of knowledge and people would always gather around him to learn.
He would teach them the important matters to save them from the evil things. Among his famous sayings is one that cleared Allah from having a shape or form.
He said *“Whatever you imagine in your mind, Allah is different from that”.*
One day Imam Dhunun Al-Misriyy went to the *Nile River* to wash his clothes. As he was preparing to do so, he saw a large *scorpion* coming towards the shore. He got a bit fearful so he sought protection from Allah that the scorpion would not harm him. A scorpion’s sting is very harmful and can often cause the person to die.
Imam Dhunun hid behind a tree to see what the scorpion would do.
The scorpion stood on shore. Then a large *frog* came out of the water. It got close to the scorpion. The scorpion got on frog’s back, it got back into the water, and started swimming.
Imam Dhunun watched in amazement. He knew that there was a story behind this strange event, so he came out from behind the tree and got in the water to follow the frog and scorpion.
The *frog, with the scorpion* on its back, reached the other river bank. When the creatures got to the bank the scorpion quickly left the frog’s back. By this time, Imam Dhunun had also reached the bank. He got out of the water and followed behind the scorpion.
There were many trees, plants, and beautiful flowers on the bank. Imam Dhunun continued to follow the scorpion until they reached a *big tree* with many branches providing plenty of shade.
Under this big tree there was a very *handsome sleeping man*. In his hand there was an empty *bottle of wine*. The smell of wine filled the entire area. The scorpion got very close to the man.
Imam Dhunun wondered why the scorpion had come all this way across the river just to sting the man. The scorpion was about ready to sting the sleeping man, but just then a large *snake* came out from between the branches of the big tree. The snake was headed straight for the sleeping man.
Dhunun was watching this strange sight. As he did so hei was looking for a stick to hit the scorpion and the snake with. Suddenly, the scorpion jumped onto the snake and stung it. The *snake died*. The scorpion then went back to where the frog was waiting.
It got on the frog’s back and together they went back to the other side of the river.
Dhunun stayed near the big tree. He waited until the sleeping man awoke, then he told him all what happened.
When the man learned of the strange occurrence with the *scorpion, the frog, and the snake*, he repented to *Allah*, being thankful for his mercies and protection upon him.
(Surah Al-Baqara, 163 )
*And your Allah is One Allah.There is no god but He, Most Gracious, Most Merciful*

Why Nigerians kicking Against Social media and Hate Speech bill?
There had been a nation wide uproar following a controvasial bill passed by the House of Senates. On the March 2018, a bill tittle “National Commission for the Prohibition of Hate of Hate Speech" was forwarded by some members of the Senate in an attempt to hamper the freedom of speech in the Nation.The Hate Speech bill which was championed by Sen. Sabi Abdullah (APC, Deputy Chief Whip) led to a bicker of indifference among the Senate members. He was strongly supported by some of his cohorts like Sen. Ibrahim Gobir, Abba Moro and Elisha Abbo. This bill has drawn rapid reaction from many Nigerian Social media users.
According to the news report, very few senators opposed the bill passed by the Senate. In lieu to this, the Nigerians sees this as nothing but infringement on the freedom of speech in a democratic environment. Most Nigerians castigated the move and vowed to boycott such an horrendous action.
A bill which at first carried a placard of death sentence as a punishment on anyone that delivers hate speech against the government or any ethic in the country. Most Nigerians see this as nothing but a return to the military pushy under civilian cloak. As a result of this, many Nigerians have taken to the social media to report to the Human Right Watch and other International community on the decisive steps the government of the day is taking.
Despite all pressures from the masses, the Senate have vowed that there is no going back on the bill. Although, after two sittings, the Senate members repelled the death as penalty for anyone convicted of Hate Speech. However the new mode of punishment is petrifying as it doesn't favour the masses. The masses are now caught between the devil and the deep blue sea. How will an individual or a corporate body convicted of Hate Speech pays a Ransom of ten million and bag three years jial? Inadvertently,if this bill is to come to order, the Masses will be at the receiving end.
Although, the Senate insisted that the bill has not been designed to restrict the freedom of speech but rather, it has been passed so as to protect individual dignity and ethic discrimination. According to the bill, "it proposes that any person who uses, publishes, presents, produces, plays, provides, distributes and/or directs the performance of any material, written and or visual which is threatening, abusive or insulting or involves the use of threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour commits an offence if such person intends thereby to stir up ethnic hatred, or having regard to all the circumstances, ethnic hatred is likely to be stirred up against any person or person from such an ethnic group in Nigeria" (Premium times Newspaper). Also, the bill proposed that a body called Independent National Commission for the Prohibition of Hate Speech should be established in the country and that the commission will be responsible for sueing any individual or organization convicted of hate speech.
However, there has been public outcry as most Nigerians alleged the Senate of plagiarising the Singapore and other countries legislation on Hate Speech. To most Nigerians, the bill meant nothing good but rather to hinder the masses freedom of speech and to strictly regulate the online space in the country.
Another problem at hand is the Social media bill sponsored by Senator Sani Abdullah and vehemently supported by Senator Elisha Abbo. The Social media bill and Hate Speech bill are two different things but under the same umbrella. They are both political propaganda cooked up by some members Senate to silence masses and protect their authority . Infact, one can say the social media regulation bill will be hypocritical if passed into law. Reason are:
1. The constitution never covered for people of the a different sexual orientation and therefore makes these people preys to selective hate speech.
2. Mosques and Churches will be closed down, Imams and Pastors will be jailed or fined as their Religion naturally thrash-talks one another.
3. Opposing political parties and party members will be fined or jailed as we know that politics has to do with preying on your opponent's weakness and talking them down as we have seen in past election campaigns and after election grievances.
If this so called 'Social media regulation bill' is passed into law, Freedom of expression and Information will be subjected to scare tactics and Intimidation. Even Media houses and Journalism will be subjected to 'Chats' with the state security service that might involve threat and possible imprisonment.
The Beneficial Fatwa of Shaik ibn Uthaymin on Camping
All praise is for Allah, Lord of all that exists. O Allah, send prayers and salutations on our Prophet, Muhammad.
Without a doubt, the government (the Shaykh here is referring to the Saudi government) – may Allah guide it to what is good –should be commended for establishing summer programs for the youth, programs that help prevent much evil. Imagine what would happen if the youth were left free to roam the malls or the streets.
How much evil would result from that? I believe that any intelligent person who is in touch with reality knows that that would be very destructive for the youth, who would then become misguided, developing base manners and coarse thoughts.
But summer programs for the youth – and all praise is for Allah – help preserve the religion of many youths; mind you, I am not saying most of the youth or all of the youth. In summer camps, for example, the people of knowledge are invited to deliver lectures
through which the youth gain knowledge and through which a bond
is established between the youth and scholars. And of course,
there is much good in this.
During summer camps, it is from wisdom to allow the youth to
play soccer, to act out plays that are lawful, and to engage in other
lawful leisure activities. If people are forced to be serious in all
situations and at all times, they will become bored and tired. The
Companions – may Allah have mercy on them – said:
“O Messenger of Allah, when we are with you, you mention
Paradise and the Hellfire, so that it is as if we see them with our
very eyes. But when we go to our families and children, we forget.”
The Messenger of Allah (Salallahu ‘alayhi wassallam) said:
“An hour and an hour.”[ Related by Muslim] .
This means that it is normal for a person to be upon the former
state at times and upon the latter at other times.
On one occasion, ‘Abdullah Ibn ‘Amr Ibn Al-‘As (Radiallahu ‘anhu)
said:
“I will stand at night (to pray) as long as I live, and I will fast during
the day as long as I live.”
When news of this reached the Prophet (Salallahu ‘alayhi
wassallam), he (Salallahu ‘alayhi wassallam) said to ‘Abdullah
(Radiallahu ‘anhu):
“Did you make this [statement]?”
He said:
“Yes, O Messenger of Allah.”
The Prophet (Salallahu ‘alayhi wassallam) said:
“Verily, your Lord has a right over you, your soul has a right over
you, your body has a right over you, and your guest has a right
over you, so give to each owner of a right his due right.” [Narrated by Al-Bukhaari and Muslim]
Some people were informed of the good deeds that the Prophet
(Salallahu ‘alayhi wassallam) performed in private, i.e., the deeds
he performed in his home. They seemed almost to disparage the
worth of those deeds, saying:
“The Messenger (Salallahu ‘alayhi wassallam) was forgiven for his
previous and later sins, and we are not like him,”
so one of them said:
“I will not sleep during the night.”
By this he meant that he would stand to pray in the night, without
sleeping. The second one said,
“I will fast without breaking it (i.e., fast every single day).”
The third one said:
“I will not eat meat.”
And the fourth one said:
“I will not marry women.”
When the Prophet (Salallahu ‘alayhi wassallam) heard that, he said:
“What is the matter with people who say such and such. As for
me, I fast, and I break my fast. I pray, and I sleep. And I marry
women, so whoever turns away from my Sunnah, then he is not
from me.”
For one to take his share of lawful pleasure is, no doubt, sound
wisdom. Furthermore, playing soccer not only provides pleasure
that might help alleviate one’s mental stress, but it is also
beneficial to one’s body, making it stronger and more active...........
One who disagrees with the concept of summer camps and the
lawful entertainment that takes place during them might say that it
is compulsory for religious lectures to take place in Mosques. But
this is not true, for lectures can take place in Mosques, in schools,
in institutes, in houses, or in other places as well.
One must have foresight, seeing matters as they truly are, and not
as they are seen on a surface level only. One should have a deep
understanding of matters, taking into consideration all benefits and
harms that might result from actions, for there is an important and
comprehensive rule in the Shari’ah: [we must] bring about benefits
as much as we are able to and [we must] ward off harm,
minimizing it as much as we are able to. This principle is
comprehensive for all aspects of the Shari’ah. Were we to say that
summer camps are henceforward to take place in Mosques only,
the people would not be able to tolerate that.
I say to one who disagrees; “Know that the Religion is more
spacious in its legislations than you think. It brings forth benefits,
no matter where they come from, as long as they do not bring with
them an equal or greater harm, in which case they become
forbidden.”
If one were to say that the means of da’wah are confined to those
means that were used during the Prophet’s time, we must make
him understand that the word ‘means’ indicates the opposite of
restriction or limitation, i.e., as long as something is a means and
is not Haram (forbidden), we follow it. This is because the means
take on the ruling of the goals that are sought through them. Do
we not convey the message of Islam to people by means of a
microphone? Did this means exist during the lifetime of the
Messenger (Salallahu ‘alayhi wassallam)?
When we read Islamic books, do not some of us wear glasses to
make letters clearer of larger? Glasses, then, are a means of
reading books and gaining knowledge, and we use them even
though they did not exist during the lifetime of the Messenger
(Salallahu ‘alayhi wassallam)? And do not some of us use a
hearing aid device to hear good words? Yes, but did such devices
exist during the lifetime of the Messenger (Salallahu ‘alayhi
wassallam) Of course the answer is no. Therefore, as long as we
acknowledge something to be a means, and not an end, it is lawful
in Islam as long as it is not forbidden in and of itself. Suppose
someone said, “This group of people will not be inclined to accept
your message until you play music that they can dance to.” We
answer, “We will not play music, because, though music is a
means in this situation, it is itself forbidden.”
Overall, I am a proponent of summer camps for the youth; the
organization of such camps is a praiseworthy effort on the part of
the government, and so I encourage parents to enrol their children
in them. However, I would like to warn them about an issue, and
that is that, in summer camps, young children should not mix
freely with teenagers or those older than them, for it is feared that
some trial will result for some of them. Furthermore, those that are
responsible for such camps should be known for their knowledge,
trustworthiness, righteousness, and honour.
They should possess these qualities in the highest degree
possible; to be sure, complete perfection is for Allah (Subhanahu
wa ta’ala) alone, but we should give duties of responsibility to the
best available people. When the scholars spoke about the requisite
qualities of a judge, they said that he should be just. But then they
also said, “If no just judge can be found, then we appoint the best
of the evildoers, the one from them who is closest to
trustworthiness, for Allah (Subhanahu wa ta’ala) said:
“So keep your duty to Allah (Subhanahu wa ta’ala) and fear Him as
much as you can.” (Qur’an 64:16)
So the responsibility falls upon the guardian – father, brother, etc.
– to ensure that he is sending his young trust to an appropriate
camp. He should go himself to the camp facilities to see who is
running it and how it is being run. And we ask Allah to grant
success to all.
Coming back to the original point, I repeat the need for students of
knowledge to be deep in their thinking, to not judge matters by
their outer appearances. They should always keep their eyes
focused on the purposes of the Shari’ah and on the good the
Shari’ah intends for the creation. They should not forbid a
beneficial thing or one that prevents a greater evil, unless the
Shari’ah itself forbids that thing. When the Shari’ah mentions
something to be forbidden, we automatically know there is no
benefit in it or at least that its harm is greater than its benefit.

Allah (mighty and sublime be He) says: The first of his actions for which a servant of Allah will be held accountable on the Day of Resurrection will be his prayers. If they are in order, then he will have prospered and succeeded: and if they are wanting, then he will have failed and lost. If there is something defective in his obligatory prayers, the Lord (glorified and exalted be He) will say: See if My servant has any supererogatory prayers with which may be completed that which was defective in his obligatory prayers. Then the rest of his actions will be judged in like fashion."

This message may sound convincingly very bitter. But we should endeavour to tell ourselves the truth.
My fellow women... I will prefer we go through the following verses from the glorious Qur'an, Hadith and few stories I have (as a woman) to share with you.

Chapter 87,, suratul Al-A'laa - verse 16 and 17:-
بل توثرون الحياة الدنيا
TRANSLATION
You prefer the worldly life.

While the hearafter is better and more enduring.
Apart from the verses above, there are various verses in various chapters of the glorious Qur'an where Allah SWA is describing the life of this world (Duniya), as very brief and short.*

Two stories that will Touch your ❤️ Heart
STORY ONE:-- A working class friend of mine with 3 children advised me few years back not to help my husband with a peny in running the family. I asked her why? She replied me that, if u help men in running the family responsibilities, they will gain STRENGTH to marry another woman. But to my surprise, few months after that conversation, she called me that her husband wants to marry second wife tomorrow. And I asked her the following questions:
Question:- Have u started helping in the family responsibilities?
Answer::-- For where..!!!. God forbid.
Question::-- Has he gotten another better job?
Answer::-- For where..!!!. He was even demoted in his place of work last 3 months ago.
Question::-- Did u people quarrell?
Answer::-- Not even once for the past 4 months.
Question::-- Then why?
Answer::-- leave the idiot.
My fellow women... If ur husband wants to marry another wife, no matter his financial constraints, he will do it... And no matter ur security tactics or ur close marking,, if he mean to do it. He will.
STORY TWO::-- This happened to me (my self). Few years back my first husband {may his soul rest in peace} whom I got my first 3 kids with, once told me that,, "" he wants to help a poor widow with 2 kids by marrying her as a second wife. I changed completely since that day with him. When he noticed that he could not longer see my face again. He called me and told that he has dropped//cancelled the second wife issue. And since that day, I changed back to who I was.
As Allah SWA will show me small lesson in life, Exactly 2 weeks after,, he came back in the evening complaining of slight headache. I told him to lay down. It could be a stress. B4 two hours, I went to c how he was fairing. He was already dead. Leaving me (26years old) with 3 kids.
Few months after, our landlord ejected us from his house just bcos we could not afford to pay. We moved into my brother's house. The trouble of my brother's wife became so unbearable that, I decided to re-marry again. Apart from that, am still 26. I need a man in my life. But who will marry me??? A man who is not yet married? This is not 90% possible.
Every men who came to seek for my hand in marriage used to be prevented by their wife at home.
To cut the long story Short, another married man came again. I fell in love with him. But his wife at home became another obstacle. I cried day and night. I fasted during the day and pray at mid-night crying to Allah to change the mind of that woman.
Few weeks later, the man came and told me that, his wife asked him to bring me. I asked him. Has she agreed? He said No. I started crying again. But finally i summoned my courage to go and c her. Reaching there. The wife came out and huged me crying telling me that she has agreed. Not bcos she like it but bcos, she don't know what will happen to her tomorrow if she deny me.
I cried again regreting how I denied someone this golden opportunity.
WOMEN's FEAR ABOUT SECOND WIFE OF A THING
-- My husband will not be able to love me again as he used to. Or he will not love us equally 50-50.. The verse u read above should remove this worry from your mind.
-- I am going to loose my husband to another woman. Did u still remember the story of SAUDAT and prophet Muhammad SAW??? Even if u noticed he is going to cheat on you or he is cheating on u. Leave him to Allah. He will be resurrected paralysed in the day of judgment. And this means that he is not entering jannah.
The woman coming in will throw me out of the house with charms. If u sincerely asked Allah to give ur husband a good woman anytime he is ready to marry again. Allah SWA will not turn ur DU'A down. And if u are strong in faith,, Not only charms,, Wallahi not even JUJU will have a positive impact on u.
We are going to be sharing monthly resources with the woman coming in. Did u still remember the hadith i quoted in the beginning of this message??? Love for others what u love for Urself. Don't be too selfish... U, ur daughters, sisters could be a victim tomorrow.*
I can not share inheritance with any woman after the death of my husband. Who told u who will die last? Or who told u that inheritance last?
WHAT HAPPEN TO OUR CONSCIENCE AS WOMEN???*1.. Did we not feel for widows who lost their husbands at younger ages?
2.. Did we think about number of girls to boys given birth to everyday.
3.. Did we think about death rate between male and female? Men die more.
4.. Did we sometimes feel for women//ladies outside not yet married? And how they manage their sexual urge?
5.. Feeding and drinking is compulsory in life. The same thing sexual intercourse. Islamically,, Interms of sexual urge,, women take 95% while men take only 5%. Fear of Allah can never stop the feelings when it strikes. Just like fear of Allah can never stop one from feeling hungry.
Two lessons from the life of Prophet SAW and his wives
Your husband is not as Pius as prophet Muhammad SAW. We have read that, Nana Aisha (RA) narrated that "" there used to be months where they don't cook food in prophet Muhammad's house. They only survive on water and dates. Allah made this to prophet Muhammad so that we learn lesson from it. If Allah so wish,, HE can make the prophet Muhammad the most richest on earth.
So, my fellow women... Because your husband have wake up without money and food for the family, should not be seen as a problem.*
Whatever little challenges u may face OR facing in ur marriage,,, that should not push u to seek for divorce. Pick lessons from the story of SAUDAT and prophet Muhammad SAW
Be inspired
Gani Fawehinmi was the best legal mind of his time. But he was not even the best in his University days; truthfully, he had ordinary pass in his Law Degree, not even a Third Class Degree. He could be classified as “Let My People Go” in those days.
After Gani left the University and passed out of Law School, there was nothing ordinary again in his life. He became the best in everything he touched.
He wrote lots of legal books and journals in Nigeria. He visited courts more than those who made First Class in the same school with him and those who became SAN before him.
Gani’s presence in any court was a big news to the press and the nation. He was delightful and reassuring to watch, he spoke the language of his profession like an angel, and every judge knew him as a man of integrity.
Gani was the most honourable lawyer Nigeria ever produced. To most Nigerians, particularly the poor and middle class, he was their hope, and epitome of graceful expectations of how to prosecute cases. He made the legal profession honourable.
One of Gani’s most memorable case was against Rotimi Williams over integrity. He made a mockery of the man Nigeria called "Rotimi the Law", the Chairman of the 1979 Constitution Drafting Committee of 49 Wise Men. It was supposed to be 50 wise men until Chief Obafemi Awolowo pulled out of the committee.
Why?
The first appointment given to Rotimi Williams as Attorney General of Western Region was by Awolowo as Premier. It was the mistake of the then Head of State, General Muritala Mohammed to think Chief Obafemi Awolowo could serve under Rotimi Williams. Unfortunately, he never consulted Chief Obafemi Awolowo before he made the announcement on radio.
Rotimi Williams had sued Gani over his integrity and like Shylock he wanted a pound of flesh, the flesh that will show the nation Rotimi was the Law.
He also wanted an open apology in the court with the press and new radicals of media like Dan Agbese, Dele Giwa, Mohamed and Ogunsanya around. But he got more than what he bargained for.
When Gani stood up, the poor and middle class stood up with him. If Gani had failed lots of his fans would have cried openly in the court but he turned things around.
He took few steps towards the Judge and demanded to put Rotimi the Law on the witness stand for cross examination.
No one had ever done that in the history of Nigeria, probably in Africa.
Rotimi was not a short man either probably around 6.2 ft, tall and huge with sharp penetrating eyes, broad shoulders, his presence took away the oxygen in the room; he was the attention in any court. He was indeed the 'Giant of Legal Profession.'
Rotimi wore his robe like a rag and if the event could be biblically assessed, it was like David standing next to Goliath.
Rotimi had everything his profession could offer, fame, money and power.
Judges bowed before him and who would not? He wrote the Law of the Land. If not why would he be called Rotimi the Law.
To the surprise of the nation, the presiding Judge granted the request of Gani to have the man that was greater than life on the cross-examination box.
Gani had a mischievous smile on his thin lips. He knew he had Rotimi by the balls. He was going to tear down the wall to show Nigerians how coleric his adversary was.
The hate was glaring, we knew the occasion would be historical as we were about to witness how David of Nigeria's Legal Profession would defeat the Goliath of the Learned Colleagues.
Gani asked if Rotimi ever attended the popular Secondary School in Lagos, he mentioned. Rotimi had no choice than to confirm he did.

Important Lessons
She asked a question in a general group on WhatsApp.
I responded to the question professionally.
She tagged my response and typed: *"you're an idiot"*
I replied: *"Thanks so much, now that you point my attention to this idiotic part of me, I'll surely work on it, God bless you my dear..."*
*And the whole place shook. Over 118 people commented and were so surprised by my response. Of course she was terribly bashed to the extent that she left the group.*
*An hour later she called me to apologise* for her stupidity bla bla bla.
We became friends.
Then I ended up handling her premarital counselling sessions.
Two days ago, on my birthday, she and her husband gave me a gift worth over 1.2million naira.
This was a year after she called me an idiot.
*Life Lessons from this experience.*
*1. MATURITY:* Your reaction to negative feedbacks or situations shows how mature you are.
*2. CHOICE:* You have the power of choice whenever anybody does or says anything offensive to you.
*3. SELF CONTROL:* If someone calls you anything negative and you lose yourself and begin to fight or shout or do anything terrible, you only prove them right.
*4. SILENCE IS GOLDEN:* It is better to keep quiet and people think you're a fool than for you to open your mouth and they confirm you're truly a fool.
*5. DISCERNMENT:* You cannot because the baby pooed in his bath throw the baby away with the bath water.
*6. POSITIVE POWER:* You have the power to win people through your maturity and composure and not through overly being more sanctimonious than the person.
*7. POSITIVE IMPACT:* Life is all about people. If I had responded to her negatively, I would have lost a friend forever.
*8. WISDOM:* There are people who are sent to you by God to help your journey in life to be worthwhile, your meeting point might be at a fighting point. Be wise, even when you're angry.
*9. HUMILITY:* She was humble enough to call and she apologized.
*10. RECONCILIATION:* Maybe there's someone you need to reconcile with today also, go ahead and do just that.

The Victim was Raped.
Putting an end to rape goes beyond social media outcries that won't last more than a week. The impact is like dropping a pinch of salt in the river.
No one is addressing the main issue, the factors of rape. We live in a society that if you dare mention the causes and solution, you will be tagged an enabler, you are automatically blaming the victim or justifying the devilish act.
But for how long are we going to continue playing politics with the future of these fragile vessels?
The victim was not raped the moment rape occur.
The victim was raped when we allow songs glorifying rape in our society, songs describing female private part. Listen to Olumide's song "story for the gods" glorifying rape, and you will realised the victim was raped the moment the song was released into the society and we all keep mum.

We are finding it difficult to wish away this hydra-headed monster in our midst and we assume we can achieve this by being economic in our approach. Telling someone who dresses nude that her choice of dress shouldn't give her abuser the liberty over her is more or less permitting defeacation in the open and querrying the visitation of flies.
While we are growing up, it is a taboo to wear a mini skirt, but today we allow our girls to roam the street naked, grown up girls appear on the street with panties.
The victim was raped when women lost their dignity.
The society reduces women to mere object of advertisement. What is the correlation between advertising a car and putting the picture of a semi-nude lady in front of it?
Modeling was introduced to professionalise lack of shame.

The victim was raped when the family system collapsed, the women that are supposed to instill moral values in the male child are on 7:00 am to 9:00 pm paid employment, the child is left at the mercy of uncensored content on television, he watched how rape is being done on television, he watched things that only married people are allowed to do, he listened to songs glorifying rape and when he eventually grows up, self restraint for him becomes a luxury.
The truth must be told.
Impact of COVID-19 on Congregational Salāt.
Since the outbreak of COVID-19 in Nigeria, mosques have been shut down forcing us to pray at home with our families. It affected adversely the last Tarāwih prayer as well as Eidul-Fitr prayer. The closure was not limited to Nigeria. The whole world including Makkah and Madinah were affected. It is apt to mention that the closure affects all religious houses and large social gatherings.
The ban on Congregational prayer in mosques and churches was however lifted on the second of June, 2020 in many States with guidelines including observance of social distancing of one metre while the congregation should not be more than fifty people. This is fundamentally opposed to the concept of Congregational Salāt, where the congregants are expected to stand shoulder to shoulder, toe to toe and body to body, demonstrating unity of purpose, togetherness, and oneness of the Ummah before Allah without leaving any gap for Shaytan to come in between the worshippers.
In point of fact, before COVID-19, after Iqāmah, an Imam leading a Congregational Salāt would instruct the congregants to close up any gap within the rows on the basis that standing properly without leaving any gap in between, is part of completeness of Salāt. In other words, if there is space in between the congregants, their Salāt is not properly performed because it is not complete, Shaytan has been allowed to come in between the worshippers.
It was reported from Anas b. Mālik, RA, that the Prophet, _saaws_, said: " Arrange your rows properly. Surely proper arrangement of rows is part of completeness of Salāt. Bukhārī and Muslim reported the hadith. Some scholars including Ibn 'Uthaymī are of the view that Taswiyatus-Sufūf is obligatory, not just a Sunnah, while Ibn Taymiyyah declared whoever did not implement it a sinner.
Looking at how Congregational Salāt is performed now are days in mosques does not portray compliance to the instruction given by the Prophet, _saaws_. It does not depict a Muslim Congregational Salāt. It appears like a scattered people doing acrobatic display. It may be argued that Necessity ( _Darūriyyah_ ) is responsible for the new scene.
If we agree that it is COVID-19 that is responsible for the manner of praying in a scattered form, the question to ask is : what does the Prophet, _saaws_, say we should do in case of epidemic, pandemic, heavy rain, storm, flood, etc, ? He says we should pray at home. We have been praying at home since March and our prayer has always been accepted.
It is true that Congregational Salāt attracts greater reward about 27 times more than a Salāt observed as an individual. The truth is that we have not missed the great reward because we have been observing Salāt at home in congregation with our families. Why should we be clamouring for congregational Salāt in mosques if we will end up praying in unacceptable manner by the Sharī'ah?
There is no social distancing in Islam with regard to congregational Salāt. I am of the view that we should not be in a hurry to open the mosques for congregational Salāt and end up praying in unacceptable manner by Allah. Muslims don't stand before Allah in a scattered manner. Angels stand before Allah in properly arranged rows (Q78:38, 18:48 & 89:22).
There is another suggestion that "prayers should be shortened to minimize contact between worshippers". It was also said that short verses only should be recited in Salāt in order not to keep people in the mosques for a long time. That, too, is laying a wrong precedent because it may be taken by ignorant people as the norm. We are allowed to recite whatever is convenient for us, not necessarily very short portions of the Qur'an. Worst still, _Khutbah_ on Fridays has been suggested to be delivered within ten minutes. Soon, someone will dictate to us what to say on the _Minbar_ . If we don't have time for Allah, we don't have business coming to the mosque. There is no mockery in Islamic worship. Salāt is not performed in a hurry but in a state of comportment and solemnity. Things must be done properly in order to have the desired positive result.
Another condition given is that ablution should be performed at home , not in the mosque. What happens when my ablution is spoilt and it is time to commence congregational Salat?
The purpose of coming to the mosque is defeated.
Another condition is that handwashing materials must be provided in each mosque. I cannot perform ablution in the mosque but I can wash my hand in the same mosque. What a contradiction!
Experts on public health have not observed downward trend in the number of people afflicted by COVID-19. The clamouring for the opening of religious places is not even from the health workers who are in the best position to advise on when to open the places. Daily report released by the experts is not encouraging. The figures keep skyrocketing. 11,166 confirmed cases have been reported as at today. The figure was 2,371 on the 5th of May, and 232 only on the 5th of April, 2020.
People are just in a hurry to get the mosques opened as if their Salāt at home is not accepted by Allah. We should remember that if any COVID-19 victim joins in congregational Salāt in a mosque and spreads the virus among other Muslims, no one should blame Allah but ourselves for being inpatient. We are urged by Allah to guard ourselves against the _fitnah_ (affliction, trial, etc., ) which affects not in particular only those of us who do wrong, Q8:25 . Q2:195 inter alia says: ".... and do not throw yourselves into destruction." It will consume everybody.
Individual Muslim is responsible for his safety and survival from this disease. We must avoid crowd and restrict our movements as well as control movements into our homes.
COVID-19 is contagious. It will continue to spread as long as social distancing is not observed. We should allow our _du'ā_ ' to be answered by Allah by working towards its realisation. We pray for the eradication of COVID-19. We should do things that will contain and destroy it.

Please, do not ask if any of the above is possible because, there is no case of any of the above that has not happened.

Give your children Sex Education proportional to their age. A child of age 2 or even less is due for Sex Eduacation.

In the house, everyone must respect one another's privacy.

The color wheel can be divided into primary, secondary and tertiary colors.
Primary colors in the RGB color wheel are the colors that, added together, create pure white light. These colors are red, green and blue.
In the RYB color wheel, primary colors are colors that can’t be mixed from other colors. There are three primary colors: red, yellow, and blue.
Secondary colors are colors that result from mixing two primary colors. There are three secondary colors. In the RGB color wheel, these are cyan, magenta and yellow. When you mix light, red and green make yellow, green and blue make cyan, and blue and red make magenta.
In the RYB color wheel, the secondary colors are purple (red mixed with blue), orange (red mixed with yellow), and green (yellow mixed with blue).
Tertiary colors are colors made by combining a secondary color with a primary color. There are six tertiary colors. In the RGB color wheel these are orange, chartreuse green, spring green, azure, violet and rose.

A tint is created by adding white to a base hue, lightening the color. This can make a color less intense, and is useful when balancing more vivid color combinations.
Tones

Graphics is ‘ *visual* ’ that is associated with art, imagination, and expression involving many mediums such as drawing, painting or lettering giving a clear and explicit detail.
So the *graphic part* of graphics design is made up of visual elements (we can call them the *building blocks of design* ).
The basic visual elements that combine to create graphic design are line, color, shape, texture, space, form and typography.
In order to support our artistic expression, we choose these visual elements and arrange them on a surface in layout to convey idea.
Now for the second part “ *Design* ” this is to ‘decide upon the look and function of something before it is made’.
So we can say that “ *design* ” is thinking, problem solving, and practically
