My faves in Superband Season 1 performances!

Music is part of our life, mostly we can't skip a day without listening to songs, mostly saved on our playlists. While we cook, while we take a bath, while we clean the house, even when working or writing our articles and making noise in noise cash. Music will be our best friend and our constant companion.

I am an avid fan of many group bands whether it be musical or pop-rock bands. As I follow a certain band in Korea (not EXO this time) I watched their performances and I ran on a certain sitcom where they showcase the not-so-popular bands to perform and be grouped in other members of different bands. This show is so light and the bands create a lot of memories especially the friendship they build during the show.

Superband is a contest showcasing indie bands and competing against each other and showcase their talent especially their musicality and how they blend with other groups. I love the music being produced in this show actually. Below I will give you the performances that I've been repeating because I love their performances that much. Enjoy!

Mone

I don't care

Love this group's own composition of the song, you can see that they highlight each talent and especially the violin and the bass guitar in addition to the electric, keyboard, and drums. This group is what I say all in one package of talent. And Isaac's vibrato mixed with Woosungs voice is just so good. Yeah I am biased and I mostly watched their performances, don't blame but they are really talented and they're really cold, the music is amazing.

Wooing

Sexy, Benjie's intro is soooooooooo SPG hahahahaha. and the blend of the violin and those notes woahhhhhhh perfect combination. Isaac really is an epitome of vibratos I guess hahaha. Benjie and Minjae's voices are really what suit the ears of the younger generations now, the vibes they have will make you get up on your feet and dance to the rhythm.

Take Me Away

I kept having goosebumps even though I've been hearing this song like ten times a day I guess. Whenever I am obsessed with the song I kept repeating it over and over again that I tend to memorize the lyrics of the song. Isaac never failed to amaze me with his voice and Minjae handling his violin-like it will be the last night he will use it. Can't even comprehend Woosung's mesmerizing voice.

Kim Young-so

Like a Star

I know it is just him strumming the guitar with no lyrics but can you see the way he taps tap tap strum on the guitar??? huhuh don't touch me! this man really talented in the sense that he'll just play the guitar like it's a normal thing to do without realizing that he created a very great melody in it. Kim Young-so is part of the winner of Season 1 in Superbond because he is a part of the group Hoppipolla.

ILYSB

Never mind Kim Woosung's oozing voice but mind the background music with those glasses with wine in it and also the piano. the blend is really fantastic. DPOLEs mix is so fantastic.

Isaac

Hong

Isaac is really good at making all the girls be in awe by her way of singing, when he performs you just want to sit back and watch him with hearty eyes and all. The first word (Saranghae) will put you in a very tingly situation in your heart aigoooooooo.

Jungsol

Intro

This man has many talents and when you see his performance you can see the happiness of his smile while making sounds over every instrument he can put a hand on. Amazing chubby cheeks and he is so squishy and when he smiles you also smile too hahaha.

Childhood Memories

Isaac was part of this performance too hehe. So I watched this performance because of him and after that, I kept repeating on watching this performance. The synchronization is very subtle and I love it.

Overall, most of the contestant's performances are really into the bones as we say. They show uniqueness in every genre of music and they kept creating melodies that would soothe with the covers they will make. Kudos to the production team for making such an awesome show. All the talented artists came to show off and tell the world that popular or not the love they have for music is never-ending.

Anyeong...just a compilation of my favorite performance from an awesome music show, I got this idea because of Ropa's comment on my article that she knew Woosung because of Superband. So I hope you also enjoyed the performances. Gonna make season 2 also hehehe.
