Cryptoville

Cryptoville is a small village in the middle of the forest just right below the Kanokaoa mountain. They live abundantly harnessing the resources of nature. They seldom have the need to go to the city or just anywhere outside the village.

One day, Mr. Chris Douche and his assistant Ms. Rach Puller came to visit the villagers.

Chris Douche and Rach Puller were welcomed pleasantly by the village chief. They talked about a lot of things over a feast that the villager prepared. Chris Douche was extremely pleased with the roasted meat they shared for the meal. He asked about what meat it was and how they went about preparing it.

The village chief told them that it was a black wild boar that they hunted in the middle of the forest. And he also told Chris the ingredients and how they cooked the boar meat.

Chris was really into the meat and he told the village chief that he would gladly pay $50 for each boar.

After the meal, the village chief gladly announced Chris' proposal and the villagers rejoiced because of the newfound earning opportunity.

Chris and Rach bade goodbye to the chief of the village and the villagers when nightfall came.

The next day came and the villagers were all busy preparing for their hunt. They prepared cages and the tools they need to capture as many boars as they could.

After a couple of days, Chris and Rach came back to the village with several huge trucks. As promised, Chris paid each villager $50 per boar captured. The villagers were so happy because Chris must have bought hundreds of boars. He requested that the village make a big cage that could accommodate even a larger number of boars.

The villagers worked as one unit and they manage to build a huge cage capable of holding an enormous amount of boars.

Chris then told the chief of the village that he will buy them at an increased price of $75 a boar since the supply dwindled a bit. And then they went home with the collected boars.

The efforts in hunting down boars renewed and the villagers caught quite a lot but not as much as the first one.

The boars were then kept inside the huge cage.

When Chris and Rach came back the following week, they counted all the boars and paid what was promised to the villagers.

Before they leave, the village chief told Chris that they have depleted the number of boars in the forest, seeing one now is a rarity and it's going to be difficult to catch more. Chris then said that he would pay $300 a piece when comes back. And then Chris left but Rach was left to manage the collection of the boars.

The villagers tried to capture some more boars from the forest but it was almost impossible since they hunted them all down.

The assistant, Rach, held a meeting with the villagers before Chris was to arrive in the village.

She said, "I know where you can find a lot of boars." She then pointed to the large cage in the side of the village harboring hundreds of black wild boars.

"I can sell them to you at $150 a piece and you can sell them to Chris at $300. Sounds like a good deal right?" she offered to the villagers.

The villagers talked among each other and they agreed with the plan, they gathered up all their savings and bought almost all the boars in captivity.

Rach left the village before Chris arrives with the money from the boars' sales. The villagers waited but Chris never came back to the village too. All the villagers see is the ridiculous number of black wild boars everywhere.

Only then do they realize that Chris Douche and Rach Puller took all of their money and left them with wild boars everywhere.

And that my friend is how cryptocurrency market works. I hope you have a better understanding of how the market works or at least how a rugpull is done. :)

Hi!!!

This is just a joke about cryptocurrency that I turned into a short story. It may be funny and it may be quirky but when you have experienced a rugpull, this one may hit close to home.

Of course, not all cryptocurrency will end up the same way, a lot of them have real-world implementation potential. Just as BCH is always striving to be, a future payment option aside from cash, credit/debit cards, and alongside online wallets like GCash or Paymaya.

But of course, we will never run out of people like Rach Puller and Chris Douche, that will look to take advantage of people's desire to earn. So always be wary of something that's too good to be true. Alway DYOR.
