A Beach House and Aristocracy

Previously on The Not So Perfect World:

Jeremy and the whole class were tasked to perform a play as their class project for Miss Erika's subject which was English.

Jeremy planned to propose Romeo and Juliet as their play and he would volunteer himself to be Romeo and his classmate Momo as Juliet.

His plans were spoiled by the unsuspecting Junicious Juntharius. He proposed that the play should have an all-girl cast wherein Romeo is to be played by Anna Mari Smith and Juliet will be played by Momo Kirisawa.

The whole class' interest was piqued and they all agreed to the suggestion. Jeremy was unable to veto the class' drive and he had no choice but to go with it.

The roles and contributions were settled and agreed upon by the whole class. The boys will do the heavy lifting and will all work behind the scenes. As the leader of the class, Jeremy was tasked to be the director who will be in charge of overseeing the scenes and the play and its entirety.

The props and the costumes will be done by the boys and they will be assisted by several girls who knew how to sew and whatnot.

Elucia was appointed to be the overall producer. She would also oversee the production itself.

The group decided to conduct their first practice and assembly so they could prepare for the play. Only the key members of the class were required to attend so they have a small group with them. Members that are solely working in the background weren't required to attend.

They were talking amongst each other to decide where they could conduct the meeting and the initial reading.

"What about at Johnny's?" Jeremy suggested, "It's a family restaurant so we could talk over a meal or snacks."

"That's fine but what about if we decide to practice the scenes? We would be distracting the other diners." Momo shot him down.

"What about at the park?" Mari offered.

"Hmmm. That's a little bit too public." Jeremy said. "If only we know someplace that's private and big enough to accommodate us and that we can be alone so we won't disturb anybody."

As soon as Jeremy finished his piece, all heads turned to their classmate who was just looking at her phone the whole time. She fixed her golden hair between her ear and slowly looked up as she felt the heavy gaze of the group. She looked up and she saw that all eyes were on her.

"Uhmmm... is something the matter?"Elucia asked.

"Do you have a place where we can conduct our practices?" Jeremy asked.

"Oh, not a problem. I think we do. When are we going there?"

"Tomorrow, Saturday."

"Okay, let me just ask for a quick moment," Elucia said and she called up to arrange for the place.

The phone conversation lasted for only a minute and when Elucia returned to the group they were all happy as she gave a positive answer to their current problem.

Saturday morning came and the group was assembled in front of the school. Everyone needed was present except for Elucia. It was Jeremy's first time to see everyone out of their uniforms. Everyone except for Momo which he had seen out of not only school uniform but out of clothes. Although he had seen her through the screen of his phone, he still memorized every inch of her.

What surprised him was how Mari was dressed. She was totally different from Momo who was looking so girly in a mini skirt with suspender and a white loose shirt for the top. Momo was also looking fab with a little painter's hat on her pink head. A really preppy girl straight from those preppy magazines teenage girls like to read.

Mari was on a slim-straight jeans, a white shirt for the top, and a brown-colored vest for accent. She also had her hair tied back and was looking totally comfortable yet elegant. Her outfit may not be so girly but her feminine traits were really observable through the jeans and her shirt.

Jeremy tried to snap out of unnecessary thoughts and was looking around waiting for Elucia.

A white van stopped in front of them and a lady in a black suit came out. It was one of Elucia's guards. They were then instructed to get into the van and they followed it, mostly out of fear.

No one even let out a pip while they were driving and they were just able to breathe freely when they arrived at their destination.

As they got out of the van, they found themselves in front of the beach.

"Lady Elucia is waiting inside the beach house." the lady in the suit told them in an authoritative voice.

It's as if the awe they are feeling from the sparkling waters of the sea wasn't enough, they turned to the "beach house" and it was a humungous villa-looking mansion right in the middle of the beachfront. There were no other establishments around the house.

"Ahm.. excuse me. You said beach *pause* house, do you mean to say that Elucia also owns the beach and not just the house?"

"Indeed." the lady answered and everyone was just dumbfounded with their jaws hanging from their heads.

"Hiiiiii guuuuuuys!!!!" an energetic Elucia was running towards them. She was in a floral maxi dress that is really fitting for their setting. She was wearing a big, and I mean big, hat on her head while another guard was chasing after her trying to shade her from the sun with a big parasol.

"Welcome to our beach house. You don't have to hold back, we won't disturb anybody here. We have the whole beach to ourselves."

"Just how rich is this girl??" Jeremy whispered.

"Stupidly rich, as you see." Momo scoffed.

Konnichiwazzup!

Ahhhh! The beach! I really miss the beach. I want to swim in that salty water again, but also wow, I wouldn't say no to staying in a beach house. It does not matter if it's small, as long as I can see the sea or the ocean through a window, that will be perfect.
