Is the world on the verge of self-destruction?

This title may seem a bit alarmist to some, but if we analyze today's news and the events of the last 2 years up to the present time it seems that we are heading in that direction, and this is due to multiple factors that continue to occur and that do not seem to provide any solution unless world governments act under the pressure of their citizens.

Among the points that I will mention below to give us a better idea of why this kind of question or vision will not be shown in order of importance but will only be mentioned as part of the content of this article. And among them we have:

Mass Migrations

There are two parts of the world that are in serious problems with respect to this point, these are Europe and South America; as for the first is due to the strong arrival to their territories of people coming from Africa and the Middle East, due to the wars and famines that plague these regions of the planet. And the situation may get out of control within Europe, since the economy of that continent is in serious trouble due to the conflict between Ukraine and Russia, since the supply of gas has been suspended by the Russian government to Europeans, and on the other hand, the world production of wheat and fertilizer come mainly from both countries, which will make food production even more expensive - to this must be added the drought season that is currently occurring.

As for South America, it is going through a process similar to that of Europe due to the deep economic and social crisis that the country of Venezuela is going through. This crisis is so severe that it has been alleviated in a certain way by the NGOs that are in charge of helping Venezuelan migrants in the different South American countries, but, also because their economies are not as developed and strong as the European ones, Venezuelans have had to reach the United States by crossing the Central American jungle at their own risk, in organized treks in large groups of people.

War between Ukraine and Russia

This war, which has only been going on for a few months, is still going on and there seems to be no end in sight. The truth is that President Vladimir Putin does not give his arm to twist, and according to some analysts it seems that his main objective or the initial cause of this war has been the pretext of wanting to revive in a certain way the former Soviet Union.

Conflict between China and Taiwan

China has had its sights set on wanting to dominate Taiwan for a long time but has not been able to do so due to the interference of the United States, and this is something that can be known when we learn about the visit of government official Nancy Pelosy to that country in order to establish a position and contain the Chinese government in the face of such action.

With respect to this situation, it is speculated that one of the arguments driving China to take over this region is the microprocessor or electronic chip companies, which are highly valued worldwide and in which Taiwan is the largest producer.

Economic Inflation in the United States

Multiple causes have given rise to this problem recently experienced in that nation, such as the Ukraine - Russia War, the instability and loss of allies in the Middle East to supply them, and also the inability of Venezuela to cover the production quota of such resource after the destruction of its company P.D.V.S.A., due to internal political conflicts.

The Emergence of Leftist Governments in Latin America

The emergence of leftist governments in Latin America is becoming more and more notorious and has only brought problems to each one of them due to their bad economic policies by expropriating companies of great importance for those nations. And these come to power thanks to their promises of wanting to end poverty, something that in reality they do not achieve but they massify it in order to easily control the population, and an example of this we can see it perfectly in Cuba, Venezuela and Argentina.

Global epidemics

We have already experienced the Covid-19, and now, but not at the same level of lethality, the so-called "Monkey Virus"; but taking the words of Bill Gates in each of his statements to the press, there may be more to come and with a higher level of danger.

LGTB, Abortion, Equal Marriage...

These points can be controversial among people and is something that is being raised throughout the Western world thanks to the leftist governments both in Europe and throughout the Americas. It has been shown as a right to conquer among the citizenship, but those who oppose them have the idea that these measures will bring serious problems to the western culture giving rise to a complete change, and whose effects will be seen in some decades to come.

Food Shortages

Thanks to the Ukraine-Russia war, the high cost of fertilizer and fuel prices, in addition to the drought that is being experienced in these months in Europe, everything is giving rise to what can be feared in several countries both producers, exporters and importers in the coming years.

As you may notice, the scenario in general does not seem to be easy unless it changes for the better in the short term to avoid greater evils. In the meantime we will be waiting for what is to come as we take our measures to safeguard ourselves in some way.
