Peek-a-boo! said the strong Mr. Sunshine to me one morning. I was not wearing any eye protection when I was taking this photo, so I thought I have to hide behind the tree to protect my eyes from the glare of the morning sunshine. But well as you can see, it did peek through the leaves of the tree and shown its mighty glow like playing hide and seek with me. And it found me. So now I am it, haha. Simply awesome!
I hope you are having a good Monday, noise maties and not so blue.

This little "behind" sniffer, haha. Don't worry, it's not anybody's behind Mr. Cat is sniffing but my brother's motorcycle's behind.
I was wondering what's this sniffing about with cats... Apparently, cats are incredibly scent oriented. They use scent to communicate, to interact socially and to identify territory. They are territorial, remember. They have scent glands between their toes in the pads of their feet, oh yes. So when they scratch an object, they leave behind their personal scent which means, stay away, this is mine! If you are curious like myself you can have a read at thesprucepets.com where there are a lot of interesting informations about cats. It's really cool, you can learn why cats like rubbing themselves to us, too, etc, etc.
Weekend is about to end noise maties. Enjoy the rest of the day, don't forget to chill and relax for tomorrow is Monday...

This is my walk path almost every weekend now. Always hoping that weather is good. Or to be specific that there is no rain, much less a thunderstorm when all I want to be is in the security of indoors. Can't imagine being out there when the heaven is mad. In that case, all I want is to hide, haha. Anyhow, these trees are very helpful. Without them, walk time will not be as enjoyable. They're good a shield from the glare of the sun, also it's not gonna be too hot which make the walk endurable from the heat...Thank you trees.♡♡♡
Have a nice weekend noise maties!

This was how the sky looked like when I looked up during one of my afternoon walks. There were four clouds looking like this and not far away I saw these two birds. Boy, I don't think these four clouds in strange shape were caused by these birds! I checked for whatever else is up there but it was just normal thick clouds. No sign of anything else nor a sound of an engine. Eventually it was joined by these thick clouds below. Until now, I can't think of what causes those strange looking clouds. I can't even guess, I have no clue. Any idea?
I hope all is well with you noise maties and not bothered with any discomfort like what I am having right now. Have a good weekend!

My sister pointed to me these two butterflies clinging on a weed. So I took my chances to take photographs. Yes, one take is definitely not enough. Would you believe I took twenty seven shots all in all. Then, I had difficulty in choosing which one to share because they almost look the same. Anyhow, when I see butterflies, I just think how wonderful creations they are. I remember the word metamorphosis and the phrases, "butterflies in my stomach" or "social butterfly". I don't consider myself a social butterfly because I get butterflies in my stomach in social events, lol. Oh well...
I'm thinking could these two butterflies be sweethearts or best friends? Hmm, I wonder, wonder, wonder...
Have a nice Thursday noise maties!!!

Noise.cash effects on me...
*I developed interest in my surroundings more.
*I developed more interest in photography.
* Taking time to look and search for subjects, even weed flowers are getting attention and bugs, too.
* I think, write, type, share and connect.
* I am learning about people, places, etc.
* I rejoice with the variations of personality of each and the shared photos of flowers from around the world.
These may not be all...but how about you, friends? I'm sure you can relate with me. : )
Sharing with you a weed flower that caught my attention one bright afternoon.
Wishing you all well, noise maties!!!

This is Rangoon creepers otherwise known as Chinese honeysuckles. So beautiful and fragrant. And easy to propagate. When it grows wild you will just see little creepers coming out from the ground around it where roots are. If you get one of those with its root head and plant it somewhere else, it will sure be a success. It loves sunshine and bears flowers all year long. Its flowers smell divine like the whole garden is sprayed with fragrance. I used to live where we grew these creepers. These creepers are a good shield for privacy and from hot and bright sunshine as well. Have you seen these flowers before? The thing is when I left the place, I never saw anymore Chinese honeysuckles. I'd probably get excited when I will see these flowers again♡♡♡...
Have a good Tuesday, noise maties : )

Awesome lantana. So happy how I got in one photo the three stages of these flowers. I have noticed that it has around four or five stages. First, the one at the bottom, second is the middle, third is not in the photo where the flowers changed color in the middle. Then they start falling off and will look like the flower on top. Then they produce a berry like fruit, that start off as green then turn into the color of a blueberry. Simply amazing. We can easily ignore nature, but if we give it time, it never ceases to amaze us just like this flower called lantana.
I hope you are having a good start of the week, noise maties...

It's looking good and I was hopeful. I got the vine to crawl up to something so the fruits will not be on the ground. And because it was getting bigger and heavier, I also put a support so that it won't fall off and it will continue growing. But sad news, despite all these efforts, it didn't work. One fruit gone rotten and this one in the photo have fallen off the vine in the net which I put as a support. And it's not ready to be consumed. There is a baby fruit but it does not look healthy as well. I think the rain and the golden bugs killed the fruits. It's past it's season and if we see them in the supermarket, there isn't much and their price had gone up. Anyhow, I didn't plant this, it just grew by itself. It was looking happy but not anymore. Perhaps, there is more to do to be successful in caring for fruit bearing plants and more knowledge as well... so yeah, it is what it is.
I hope you are all having a good weekend, noise maties!!!

ROAR!!! Fierce cat, huh. No, not really! That is a BIG YAWN...I saw her on the side while I was walking. Seeing her so calm, I squatted in front of her and tried to be friendly. I'm happy she stayed relaxed. Probably, she is in need of a catnap. But of course, before the catnap, she played a little bit. She rolled on her back, she picked up a tiny wooden something and chewed it to bits. She stretched, she gave me a little pat as you can see her paw in the second photo. Then, as if those showing off what she can do exhausted her, she curled up and dozed off. I left her in peace.
Have a wonderful weekend, noise maties!

Just after washing fresh fruits from the supermarket not from the garden. I know, I'm so jealous to those who just pick fruits from their own trees. How I wish I could do the same...I will just dream on, haha. Well, yeah, because of the pandemic, it had been a protocol in the house to wash everything otherwise spray disinfectant. I washed them with soap and rinsed them well so they won't smell soapy while eating them. My sister is worst, the grapes will taste like dettol spray sometimes, oops. So when a friend found out what we are doing to the fruits, she recommended water with salt or water with vinegar. Sounds friendlier to health. I guess she was right particularly with fruits with no thick peels/skins. I didn't mind using soap with these because they are peel before eating...sshh. I'm not telling anyone else but you. So far, no one is complaining. If they will notice, I will just say, at least they smell nice. And better than covid, haha. This is just one of those things among too many, changes that we do because of the pandemic. Do you wash everything too or spray disinfectant that needs to be put inside the fridge in vegetable section?
In the photo are bananas, avocados, oranges, dragonfruits, mangosteens, lychee. Things that we need as well to keep the virus at bay.
It's Friday, noise maties! How are we all doing?
I know for some, weekend starts early...enjoy!

Been walking one morning under a beautiful clear blue sky and guess who joined me? Yes, this sweet kitty. She walked side by side with me and in narrow paths she walked around two steps behind. So cautious I may turn abruptly and might step on her. At one corner she made this quick move of showing her tummy to me. I think I found a new walking partner in her. Not a dog, not my nephews at least at this time of day. And no leash needed. My PURRFECT walking partner.
Anyways, sharing with you more photos of the airplant's flowering days. Day 4/5 ♡♡♡
Wishing you all well, noise maties!!!
#myphoto #Photography #thoughts
The airplant that I posted a few days ago is blooming for the last three days. Just sharing my excitement, haha. From day 1-3. It's the third day today. Unfortunately, I took the third photo right after a big thunderstorm this afternoon. So poor flowers looked battered and because it's getting dark thus I took a not so clear photos. Like I mentioned before, the plant just bear flower once. Apparently, after flowering, a new plant will come out or will be born to replace the one that bore flowers. So that means it's going to die. Sad but I think it's an interesting plant. And I think it's unique and beautiful. I wonder how long the flowers will last though. I'm I'll find out someday soon.
How are you doing noise maties?
Have a good week ahead🌷☘🌷🍀🌷

Do you like dates, noise maties? I do. They're sweet and the good thing is, they are healthy. They have numerous health benefits. They're loads of fiber, disease -fighting antioxidants and they may promote brain health as well. Personally, I try not to indulge in it. One or two a day is good for me. It's great to satisfy sweet cravings. Some people put dates in soup. But I only know it as snacks. It's a good natural sweetener for making this healthy no baked snack balls that I used to make. Dates with almonds or chocolates are the best but dried plain is also really good.
Anyways, I'm sharing with you my photo of a date palm taken a few months ago. I got really excited to see this tree and it was in season and the dates were starting to go red. It was green. Just awesome to see a tree or trees of date palm when before I just seen them (dried fruit) in boxes...
Happy weekend, noise maties🌷☘🌷🍀🌷

From the garden to the kitchen. Great feeling! In fact, I had to part ways not just with my mango trees but a lot more like this pineapple. I had a few pineapple plants, lime trees, lemon tree, avocado tree, moringa tree, coconut palm, etc...Anyways, I still hope they're around and being looked after and yielding. So yeah, just like my mango trees, this pineapple was supermarket bought. When preparing it for consumption, I set aside the head, put in a pot of soil, and when it grew I got it transplanted on the ground. Happy to see a fruit coming up but harvest time is the happiest. That got me thinking how farmer's life is...full of happiness.
Now I feel like my sleeping pill is taking effect...wish you all well, noisematies!

Overnight oats topped with fresh fruits. I consider it versatile food as I can have it either breakfast, lunch or dinner. I don't mind, because why not. Easy and healthy. You can top it with nuts like almonds, walnuts, pecans or seeds like pumpkin seeds, etc. What's available was peanut which I'm allergic to, so I'd rather skip that than I will be walking around with a freaky face, haha. I know it's a food post again, I hope it's not hurting the stomach and heart of our nice friend @Jousef...
I hope all is well with you, noisematies.
Have a good Thursday, weekend is just round the corner...

This is an air plant given to me and my sister on one of our visits in my Uncle's place. (Photos taken different times.) My Uncle's wife is a nice lady, when we noticed her unique plants, she's given us a piece. It started as green then slowly turning to red. Now that it turned red in color, I am in great anticipation to see flowers pretty soon. I never have seen it flowered before and by the look of it, it must be coming soon. How exciting. I just need to be patient.
Few infos that I found out about air plants:
*they will not grow in soil.
* they use their roots to attach themselves to things like tree branches rather than to absorb nutrients. They are epiphytes.
*they also need sunlight.
*they can't live on air alone.
*they will tell us when they need more or less water
*and apparently, they will flower only once a lifetime.
So, I shouldn't be missing this air plant's flower/s.
Wishing you all a good Tuesday, noisematies🌷🌷🌷

FOOD gathers people together. Someone quoted that love for food, is the most sincere love of all. And I can't agree more... If we love the food, we genuinely love it. No amount of hypocrisy shown or kept inside us, haha. Amazing what food can do to us and give us. No food, we starve...if we are starving, we suffer physically, mentally, emotionally. Even our relationship with others is affected. So when someone looks angry, think that maybe he/she is just hungry. Give him/her food, so that he/she stops being "HANGRY". And take notice, the person will be in a better mood after eating. : ) So... have you had your fill, noisematies? Let's not make ourselves feel hangry. : )
Photos below are desserts and drinks that I had enjoyed in the company of good friends. Refreshing PiñaColada, Cappuccino indulgence perfect with out of this world Lava Cake with Ice Cream and Sliced Bananas with Ice Cream drizzled with melted chocolate. So wonderful, my happiness.
Good food makes us healthy and happy😉

For me, this tree is not ordinary but quite special. I fondly called it, the giant broccoli.
It is one of the mangoes purchased at the supermarket. After enjoying the fruit, I burried the seeds in pots of soil and watched them grow. As days, months and years past, they continue growing. So they needed to be transplanted on the ground. One's in the middle of the garden and one's at the back garden. And then, they continue on growing and growing until they reached maturity that they started to bear fruits. I must say that they were really really good. Then that's it, after tasting their first produce, beyond my control, SADLY, I had to part ways with my Thai Honey Mango Trees. All that I wish for my trees is that they are keep in existence and being enjoyed by someone. I'm keeping this photo of it as a remembrance. It's a nice feeling to see a tree planted by yourself grow...
Happy weekend, noisematies 🌷☘🌷🍀🌷

Don't be fooled by the look of these plants, noisematies. They don't look like a flowering plant to me. These orange flowers are from the tree that is above them. The tree is like an umbrella to them giving them shield and yes, flowers on top of them. Maybe this plants don't mind that, this flowers surely added some beauty to them. This flowering tree is called the flame OR fire tree. We can tell why the tree is called its name because its flowers resemble fire. Next to it is a big pine tree which has a needle-like, uhmm, shall I call these leaves, haha, and tiny cones. I think they look interesting and lovely. Last photo, you can see the trees that I am talking about. You can easily identify which is which. Anyhow, nature is always interesting. We give them attention, they sure will inspire our day.
I wish you all a good day and goodnight to some who are just trying to take their precious zzzzz😴

It was windy and the skinny branches of this tree are swaying back and forth while this poor butterfly was trying to have a good grip on a branch. It was a bit tiring to watch it having difficulty, so we tried to extend our arms and fingers for it to land on but it ignored all of us. Anyways, it did find a grip here and there that I managed to do the click. Although the branches were hanging low, still they are higher than I can reach to get a closer shot. Isn't it beautiful? I love its color maybe this is what they call the monarch butterfly which is interestingly, the hotel is called after it. Hmm, just had that thought...
Have a good Thursday evening OR a good day, noise friends🌷☘🌷🍀🌷

Yesterday was my nephew's graduation day in primary. So happy and proud Dad (my brother) and mom, took us out to have a meal right after in this hotel restaurant. Again, I didn't manage much to take some photos of the food because the boys were already starving obviously. Food had been attacked almost immediately upon serving. We had this food in the photo, pizzas and pasta.
After lunch, we took a stroll around the garden and pool. So I had the chance to take some photos. In the middle of the lawn is a really tall tree almost as tall as the hotel building. It's quite unique, my first to see it. It looks barkless and trunk is reddish. I'm guessing it might be a family of birch, pine or oak or something else.
It was a fun day, a good way to be even closer together, in one car. We did a series of stops. Gone back home late afternoon. I hope you had a good Tuesday, too.
I wish you have a good Wednesday, noisematies!

I've been reading this ebook that has a list of what could possibly make someone happy. I'm sure, these are just 10 among many... Let me share the list with you...
1) Being healthy and physically attractive
2) Having money
3) Preserving integrity
4) Doing well at work
5) Having friends
6) Being in love
7) Accomplishing goals
8) Having a hobby
9) Learning more
10) Getting a university diploma
It's been mentioned on the book as well that we should know what makes us feel satisfied and sad so we could pursue some situations and evade others. But of course, what one desires/despises may be different from another.
So yeah, if your going to choose three from this list, what will they be? Personally, I would go for 1,5 & 7. You may be wondering though, what's the relevance of my shared photo on the topic? Well, I'm sure you aren't thinking that I visited this place and watched the light show by myself, are you? That's where list #5 comes in. I was with a friend who is old emough to be my mother...
Wishing you all well this Tuesday morning, noisematies😊

I was talking to this person about shopping on the web as our topic. She said she is purchasing almost everything online. From food to outfits to furnitures, etc. It's so convenient that she considers herself as depending so much on it like life is miserable without it. I, on the other hand can not agree nor disagree so I just listened. We all have preferences in life. What works with us may not work with others and vice versa. How about you guys, how in love are you with online shopping? Haha. I do enjoy mall hopping. Photo below is where I had been mall hopping with my friends in Orchard Road Singapore. Had lots of fun. I love walking around. But I know how to stop when I needed to.😊
Happy Monday noisematies!!!

I was listening to a podcast with the topic, WHY LAUGHTER IS THE BEST MEDICINE? One said that medically speaking it is true because laughing releases anti-stress endorphins, one of the hormones that improves mood. And people who laugh, recover quickly from illness, including covid, haha. Yeah that had been mentioned.
I have learned that the study of humor and laughter and its effect on the body is called GELOTOLOGY. Also the five types of laughter: giggles, chuckle, chortle, cackle and guffaw.
Sharing with you a photo of a yellow flower in the garden that only blooms in the morning. It is super yellow against very green leaves under the beaming sun. Why this yellow flower? Because you know why...yellow color is associated with laughter, hope and energy.
We can have a good laugh this weekend with family and friends, noisematies🌷☘🌷🍀🌷

This desert rose flowers buds are as beautiful as when the flowers are fully bloomed. There shouldn't be a competition between to which is more beautiful. Because they have their own allure. Same with humans, young or old. Young ones look fresh and strong and that's their beauty while old ones have experience and wisdom and that is their beauty. I've read a proverb saying that gray-headedness is a crown of beauty... so older ones inspire young ones with the wisdom of their age and having lived long enough to get gray hair. Life is beautiful regardless of our age. Let's treasure it.
Have a beautiful Saturday, noisematies 🌷☘🌷🍀🌷

My classic refreshing drink, lemon and cucumber water. I love adding in mint leaves but mint leaves are not easily purchased here, shame. With or without mint leaves though, it still looks good and refreshing. This drink many calls it as hydrating detox water. It is loaded with health benefits. So simple and easy. All we need to do is wash and slice the lemon and cucumber. Put them in a glass or jug and pour in water and refrigerate for a bit or put in some ice cubes and enjoy. Because I made this in a glass, I refilled it every time it gets empty...
It's Friday once again and for some, weekend starts today, haha. My weekend is always busy nowadays. Doesn't matter, I just have to make the best of it. Have a good Friday, noisematies 🌷☘🌷🍀🌷

Hello noisematies, how are you doing?
I haven't cooked this for a while but today I had the chance because all ingredients were available at the the supermarket. It only needs a few ingredients but for whatever reasons sometimes they are not available. Simple stir-fried shrimps/prawns with snow peas and red peppers/capsicum. It's quick and easy. Preparation takes a bit longer than cooking. Served with rice. Quite a hit.
Wishing you all well, while I'm wishing for myself that I could get some sleep before the sun rises.

Sunset.
The clouds look like on fire,
What and awesome sight!
Sunset never fails to amaze us.
Sometimes it's purplish in colour, pinkish, silvery, grayish, or this loud orange.
Whatever colour it is, sunset is always marvelous.
These clouds that looks like on fire may not be as burning hot as fire when touch, haha.
Alright, I'm not going into that imagination...
I think I see the mermaid swimming in the sky and an upside down dolphin, I don't know what it's doing. Now I'm wishing I'm on a plane that started to descend and get real close with these clouds.
Isn't it sunsets are thought provoking and never boring? We look up and bam! we have different thoughts or story to tell.😊
Wishing you goodnight / goodmorning, noisematies!

This was my dessert after lunch. I thought it's a big sized portion but when scoop after scoop after scoop I was thinking, oh, I don't think I had enough. How quickly it disappeared, haha.
This is no-bake strawberry cheesecake. I love the texture. It's tart strawberry topping complemented the cheesecake very well. So divine...
Who do not like dessert? It's the best part of the day, isn't it? Dessert is happiness like chocolate, ice cream, cakes, coffee just to mention a few...😁
Wishing you all well noisematies 🌷🌷🌷
