It's hanging on bravely but I know it's not gonna last. So I have to take a photo ASAP before it drops. Once it drops, it's gone. Same when there's a good opportunity in life, We grab it right away, because it's not gonna wait... I was trying to take a photo of the strange looking fruit of this bush, then suddenly came this spider. Such a photobomber! So I said to her, alright pose for me then...and she did! Isn't she pretty? The thing is, she is such a cutie pie, so tiny that no amount of zooming in will enlarge her in this photo. I do not have a telephoto lens like one of our friends here. And also I was quite cautious, keeping my distance because it might jump on to my face. She didn't stay long, so this is just it. A little info about this spider, it's one type of jumping spiders. This spider have excellent vision and pouncing skills perhaps it's why they are called jumping spiders. They are apparently friendly, yes. I have read that they are curious and observe us humans , a bit, hmm, like stalking, huh, before they go and hide. Although they are generally not aggressive, we have to take note that they could bite us, but no worries, not considered poisonous. But for me it's still a bite 😅 I do not like to be bitten, haha. I had this dessert treated by my brother. Funny how it had been served first then we waited for a while for our meal. And I was so annoyed of myself why I missed taking a photo of the main dish. Maybe I was starving that I attacked my lunch quickly, haha. Well, it was a nicely baked chicken, so soft, it was melting off the bone, served with special rice. But unfortunately, I am not that into rice so I just had one third of the portion. One huge baked chicken leg, a little rice and this dessert made my tummy happy. Yum! It was my laundry day and I found this cat slumbering on top of the washing machine. I said to her, excuse me madam, can I please use the machine? Well, I got ignored many many times and then...(please look at the second photo and take notice of her claws). I was like, my oh my😳, even in her sleep she was showing me some attitude. But strange because she is the nice one. Maybe she just do that in her sleep or she just didn't want to move. I was thinking maybe it is my turn to show some attitude, haha. Thankfully, she didn't wait for that thing to happen. So all was good. I have been reading this blog saying that if a cat's claw is out or kneading, it is a sign that the cat is comfortable around you. Which makes sense because it wanted to mark you using the scent glands on their paw pads. I'm thinking though, well, if she is comfortable, I am not with the claws out...it's really uncomfortable! It's like seeing Edward Scissorhands, don't you think so, too? What are you going to do when a cat do that in front of you, noisematies? Look at these photos, noisematies...You see I myself was surprised to see a fruit. We just like eating melons, throw the seeds away, and voila!!! They grew into seedlings, creeping vines, flowers and now fruit. I thought these vines are not serious. They have been bearing flowers, being attacked by the golden bugs and yet still are thriving. So yeah, for now we'll just wait and see if the fruit will grow bigger and we can all enjoy it. Just amazing. It's again the midweek noisematies. Make a wish, noisematies, but Uhmm I'm not sure if it's gonna work. Because it's not dandelion flowers. I'm sure a lot of our friends here noticed it pretty quickly that it's not. Do you want to know what its name? Are you sure? I tell you what, maybe you just want to call it wildflowers or weed flowers because its name is Lilac Tasselflower Cupids Shaving Brush. Now you see what I mean. How can this weed have such a long name. After an hour can we still remember its name? I am not sure. I don't have the best memory in the world, or maybe I just have a lazy brain😏. Anyhow, this flower resembles a soft shaving brush. I didn't touch it so I can't tell if it's prickly or not. I have asked an eleven year old boy this morning if he have heard about the phrase, "Simplicity is the best". His answer was no. When I asked him if he agrees with it anyway, his answer was yes. Then he added, "because too much decoration for a banner will be too much that what you want to stand out will be obscured". Yes we were talking about a certain story of childen slightly older making a banner for their school's open house. The boy focused on the objective, which was a really clever thought for a boy his age. Anyways, I do agree with this phrase as well. And I'm guessing that a lot of people nowadays will agree, too. ~ Glowing Clouds ~ I must admit that I am a scardy cat when it comes to thunder and lightning. But two days ago after my afternoon walk and just chatting with my brother, I watched this lighting. You can tell why I was a bit brave, because it wasn't that huge and thunder sounded so far away. The sky wasn't that angry yet, haha. Anyway, I probably clicked around seventy five times. And I just got a few photos of the lightning. It's just not easy to get the right timing. It's why I was like celebrating everytime I clicked the shutter on my phone camera on time. Looking at the photos, it is simply fear inspiring. Zoom it in then you know what I mean. You can feel the power by the glow of the lightning... ~Hardworking Photobombers ~ Everytime I tried to take a photo of these flowers, I see these busy ants. They are unperturbed by the phone camera and me. They keep on working, saving for the rainy days. They are such a good example for us. If we work hard, we won't starve. Obviously, these flowers are not just looking sweet, but literally sweet. Just got me thinking, since ants like sweets, I am wondering if there is such a thing as diabetes to them.🤔 If none, then there is another thing we can learn from them. They are always on the move it's why they burn all the calories. So friends, for sure, exercising on our part will keep us fit, too. Can we be like the ants, hardworking and fit?😉 Let's keep moving! When a heavy downpour woke me up early in the morning...what to do, I was already awake even if I have gone to bed late the night before. I just have to get up and start the day. I have gone to the city again to get the lenses of my eyeglasses corrected. So my brother and I had to wait for an hour. We sat down and had coffee. Yes I know, I'm a lot braver now, drinking my kind of coffee, cappuccino which I deprived myself for a while due to insomnia. Uhmm, yeah, I'm still taking a pill as sleep aid. Oh well, someday I have to get myself out of it. By the way, my eyeglasses got corrected. So my eyes are happy and thankful. You know what, where we sat...merchants of arts/paintings set up a shop next to the carafe which made me look like these three emojis 😍🤩🥰. I am an art lover so my eyes feasted even without my eyeglasses yet, haha. I didn't buy any because it's not the right time. Maybe someday. I saw this cat eating grass one sunny morning. I used to stop a pet before from eating grass because I know what's going to happen next. I will be cleaning up its mess inside the house, ewww. But someone told me that when cats eat grass it means they are not well. Tummy ache maybe, so I started to feel bad for cats who are eating grass. I read on the internet that cats don't drink as much, they lack fiber and grass will provide them that if they consume grass. Whatever it is, when I see a cat eating grass, I am just wishing him or her well. Be well, goldie cat. Amazing how his ginger color turned golden under the sun. Hello all, I hope you are having a good weekend... I needed to get my eyeglasses new lenses and at last I had done it today. I don't feel that it's working better though. Maybe I need to get used to it or bring it back to the Optical shop. I'll give it time and see for now then decide if it will keep me having this discomfort... While waiting for my eyeglasses to be ready, I managed to go to a bookstore. I bought a notebook and a pen and while paying in the Cashier section, there displayed my favorite reading material when I was growing up. I got conned by the cashier to buy these two books, it's buy one take one. Good price, haha. The trouble was, I did not have my eyeglasses so I could not read when were they published. I found out later that one was published 2019 and the other one is dated 2021. Oh well, I still think there are still interesting articles in it. I will read them minus radiation, haha. Hard copy, way to go for my eyes... my eyes will thank me. 😊 #thoughts #myphoto #Photography

While I was doing my usual afternoon walk, I felt a movement on the side of the path. I thought I have given someone a fright. When I looked, I saw this frog, but not immediately because it's camouflaged to its surroundings. To be honest, I had a second thought whether or not I will take photographs. He is huge and it was getting dark. I'm glad I didn't come closer because I found out that this type of frog is dangerous. Good thing I didn't irritate him. He is called a "Cane Toad" or a "Giant Toad" , and is described as poisonous amphibian. They have this venom-secreting poison glands on each shoulder where poison is released when they are threatened according to www.awe.gov.au. In fact, I think we can spot it in the photos. This random plant was still little three months ago, just over one foot. I thought my sister planted it, but I was wrong. Everyday I see it growing upwards. In three months time I started to see little fruits. Then these fruits turned into rich red in color then almost the color of cherry but not quite. Anybody here knows what this is? Even google lens is having difficulty identifying it. It may be a type of fig but it's tiny or may be a type of berry, I don't know. Another question, you see when we say fruit, first thought will be, it's edible...so the question is, is it edible? Because it's really going wild and fat I'm having this feeling that it is really a huge vine. If it's edible, then we can keep and enjoy it. But if it's not then it has to go because it is just looking wild right now. It started to drop when it reached four feet up. The ants like it. With my curiousity, I picked a fruit and sliced it open. It looks sweet and its juice is sticky like honey. Almost irresistibly inviting. But then again, this was like the mushroom that appeared in the garden by itself or probably the birds planted it, haha...it's why, I didn't dare to give it a taste. It will be really nice if it's edible just like the fresh cherries our noisemates had posted today...how I wish,wish, wish... ~The Black Soldier Fly~ Around 20mm in size, very black in color like jet black or as dark as the night. Just plain black. He is looking tough and fully geared ready for a battle. At first I thought it has only one wing but that was really a silly thought. It's wings are overlapping, so only one is visible particularly when you are on its right side. I'm happy I managed to take a closer picture that I got its dark shiny color. Because my first take turned out to be brown because of the sunlight. I think he is handsome despite the absence of other colors but black. Did you know that Black Soldier Flies are one of those considered as beneficial or valuable insect species? They are...they are not considered as pests. They don't transmit diseases nor do they bite. Their larvae can be used to compost waste or convert the waste into animal feed. So there you go...they may look and sound a bit scary but really they are not... We should be treating them like sweethearts, haha. I hope you are having a nice start of the week, noisemates. Oh yes, today is Caturday... How are you doing, noisemates? Mama Cat and Daughter Part 3 I saw Mama Cat joined her already snoozing daughter one afternoon...and I followed her. I noticed Mama Cat is just like us. She also have a beauty regimen before shutting her eyes to sleep. So I'm thinking that she was exfoliating and cleansing her whole body, applying toner and moisturizer. Then she tackled her daughter's face who probably have fallen asleep with her make up on. Maybe because it's been raining a lot lately it's why mushrooms grow in the backyard. Uhmm, let me rephrase that, a mushroom grew in the backyard. It's a lone mushroom, no company, just by itself. Its size is like a medium size portobello mushroom. Beautiful, scaly pattern on its cap. With the help of google lens, it identified it as agaricus augustus or the prince mushroom. It really does looks like a dashing Prince. Apparently, it's edible but I won't dare picking it up, cooking it and eating it up even if I am craving for baked quinoa, tomato, spinach and mozzarella cheese stuffed portobello mushroom. These kitties are brothers. Three months ago, they looked little but not so little... Now, they are like young men. I watched them played a lot and fought a lot or maybe those were just fighting games, I dont know. I had never seen them with their mother. They are quite independent and are happy together. They look inseparable, used to be aloof from people but not anymore. They have found a new spot to rest, on my brother's covered car. And photos below is what I have witnessed happening yesterday. Big brother licking clean his little brother while trying to have a snooze. Then they noticed me, ignored me and fell asleep. I was motionless for a bit when I first saw this giant spider, the biggest one I have ever seen. At first I thought that it is something else as it only has six legs, knowing that spiders has eight or four pairs of legs. It turned out when I saw it moved that this poor giant fella has lost two legs. Now it just looks like out of proportion. Four legs on one side and two on the other side. I have found out, that this giant fella is called, the Huntsman Spider (scary thought), Giant Crab Spider (as it resembles a crab) or Wood Spider (because of their preference to live in woody places, I'm guessing it's lost as I spotted him on tiled walls). Apparently, this giant fella doesn't need webs to kill. I can't imagine the amount of webs he will make or how large the webs will be if he needs it. We may even get trapped with it, huh. Alright, that's a terrifying thought but fear not for Huntsman Spiders do not weave webs. I hope no one here in noise.cash is arachnophobic. Or are you? I spotted a rainbow yesterday. And that has given me a sure hope that it will be a better weather today. And it was. Yay! I wonder if you saw it, too. I know we all like to look at the sky. Although, today's sky is gloomy, I'm still happy at least it didn't pour down with rain as much as the other day. I'm also happy for today I am through with my meds at least one of them. I have to say that I've deprived myself with some of my favorite food, just so I thought the meds will work. So yes, eating wise, I can get back to normal. LEMON TREE I was scrolling my phone gallery yesterday and I saw my photos of a lemon tree in a pot with lots of fruits hanging from its strong branches. It had been transplanted to a much bigger pot so we can easily give it away when we leave the place. And that's what happened. So I wonder if this lemon tree have grown taller and still yielding as much fruit as it used to be. Anyway, I tell you what...this photo of a lemon tree made me remember how my Aunt used to entertain these two kids with a Lemon Tree song. For a while I thought it's a song for kids because all I remember is the chorus and my Aunt's upbeat singing in her own rendition and dancing, haha. I wonder if you have heard of it, though. Apparently sang by Peter, Paul and Mary. Here is its Chorus: Lemon tree, very pretty, and the lemon flower is sweet, But the fruit of the poor lemon is impossible to eat. So yeah, the song has an interesting lyrics. Boys may even learn a lesson on love... Yeah, right. It is not a children song. I was about to wash the empty cookie container and I found these two geckos feasting on the cookie crumbs. They look sugared up judging by the size of their middle section (belly). Don't they look sweet together? I wonder if what they're thinking this moment when I took this photo was this may be their last kiss and date in that container. Don't worry, I didn't drown them. I put the container on its side so they can easily make their scape. I'm imagining they were doing high fives when I set them free. One thing I'm certain...even geckos like my cookies...
