Well-spent Saturday
Good day fam! How are you? I hope everything is going well on your end.
Yesterday, we decided to go to my brother's house in the bukid. I agreed right away when my sister ask because I thought it's a good idea since it's really hot here in our place meanwhile it's much colder in the bukid even with the scorching heat of the sun, the air is a lot less humid and colder.
It really is getting hotter these days and some of you may have experienced the discomfort it brings especially if you're not living in an air conditioned homes like me.
Good thing we can have a short escape with this weather by going to the bukid and enjoy the fresh air there. How about you guys, how did you cope up with the hot weather these days?
We decided to harvest some sweet potato and gabi for my sister brought some bananas along with fermented fish for snacks. We enjoyed a lot harvesting sweet potato from my brother's farm together with the kids.
I was with my niece also who tag along bringing her clothes brought from Shoppee to sell it to the neighborhood. She helps prepare the food and cook the freshly harvested sweet potato and gabi for our afternoon snacks.
After a few chitchats and random laughs with the kids our food is ready and we ate outside forming circle enjoying the ultimate Filipino snacks.
Do you also enjoy food like this?
Random Family Bond
I think it's one of the happy moment when we randomly bond and have a meal no matter how simple it is with our family.
Family is forever indeed, we may have misunderstandings and disagreements at times but we know too well that we'll end up making it up, or may that's only for our case. Our mama is really strict when it comes to our relationship as siblings, growing up we are always taught to share everything and ve considerate with one another.
Now that we're all grown-up we still carry such character and thankfully we have a good relationship with each other even if most of my siblings have a family of their own.
Have a great day fam!
Kids surely enjoyed the day while harvesting and visiting farm. Kay sarap talaga ng buhay probinsya.
