Though it sounds cliché, it makes the old saying no less true: writing may be a learning process. The learning process is that the time for inspiration, experimentation and perseverance.

Consequently, the output of repetitive writing practice allows you to make skilled thought processes for your next piece of work . during this way too, your confidence are going to be boosted.

The equation of becoming a far better writer is straightforward . We must read and that we must write. But to try to do this well, it's important to take care of a teachable perspective. Reading with a teachable perspective, though, makes a distinction between reading to match and reading to find out . Comparing may disappoint you as you realize that there'll always be someone out there who writes better or has found greater success. When you read to find out , though, you give yourself potential to get new ideas, more patterns of writing, new vocabulary and then on.

But before you're taking the criticism too seriously, it’s important to understand who your criticism is coming from.

In a digital era, anyone can scrutinize your work and publish harsh comments which will or might not be relevant. It’s easy to possess low confidence due to this. After all, hearing negative views about work you’ve poured your heart and energy into are often hurtful. Furthermore, you want to understand where your criticism is coming from. Are they people you'll trust?

Are they people whom you respect and need the simplest for you? Asking these questions can definitely point us to a far better direction on who to trust without sabotaging our writing careers. This is well noted. Like me, a beginner, sometimes or most of times I am too shy/afraid to be critized of my writings and ended up not to write anything but you're exactly right, accept criticism and take it as a challenge and lesson instead. Thanks for this reminder

Writing for me has always been a mostly fluid thing. But I think that's because some people are just born with the ability to do it. Granted, it still takes a lot of time and practice for one to get it right, find their voice, and put it all together in a way that is entertaining and makes sense. But it is still largely a natural process.

That does not mean that people not naturally born to write can't be taught, and some do need a bit of various nudging to get them in the right direction.

I actually like this world we live in now where anyone can publish their words and share it with whomever wants to read it. Even if not everyone is a William Shakespeare or a Stephen King, I find a lot of what is out there quite interesting and fun to read.

At the end of the day, regardless of one's ability to write, there is only one way to get better at it and that is to keep on doing it.

The simplest answer to the question, "How do you write," is "you just do it." No matter how simple that advice is, it is the only way.
