I miss working!
November 21, 2021 G'day mate! I was putting my baby back to sleep last night when I suddenly miss working. Yes, I miss going to the office! I resigned from Telus last January 2018, if I am not mistaken. So it has been almost 3 years that I am stuck at home. I worked as a VA for 8 months though but it was a working from home job. I want to work somewhere for a change. I usually choose to work somewhere near where I live so if ever I'll be part of the workforce again, it'll be just a ride or 2 away. Maybe I can pursue my application with iQor where my transportation allowance is 6k and my fare is only 20 pesos if I ride jeepneys, 60 pesos, at the most, if I ride a tricycle. Money motivates me. Providing to my family makes me feel worthy. I used to work when I was in college and I loved the feeling of controlling my own money. And when I had my first job, I started supporting my mother and sending gifts to my family. I miss grinding for them. If I work again, the primary beneficiaries will be my kids but I will still give to my family. I am proud that I was able to support myself, buy the things I wished to have, and taste the food I crave through my own sweat and blood. The sweet fruits of my labor. And I miss working! I miss experiencing the job interviews, the excitement of knowing whether I passed or not, and the happiness of getting a job. I miss the thrill. I want to attend training and meet new people. I want to feel the anticipation of being a new team member. I missed logging in and out, going on a break, attending team meetings, going to a team-building, receiving an award, a bonus, or an incentive! I miss updating my tax status and of course, receiving a salary. I long for food trips on payday and buy what my kids would love. I wanna go out with my kids, play in Kidzoona and treat them to Jollibee or McDo afterward. I wanna work on a holiday and receive extra pay. I wanna work so I could fully pay my loans and I can start saving again. I miss working! And who knows this time I will be promoted to a leadership or a managerial position?
Just sharing this random pic when I was with Sutherland Global Services way back 2011. We had our theme night and we were pirates in Pirates of the Caribbean. It's the pirate me! Have you been stuck at home like me? For how long now? Do you wanna go back to work? To my sponsors, subscribers, upvoters, and commenters: THANK YOU VERY MUCH! And I hope you are enjoying your weekend. Too-da-loo! **Glessa**

I was stocked at home for a very long time and I could not go to school or anywhere. That's just the only experience I had about being stocked.
You are going to be lucky to be stuck here on read :)
11 years na yata ako naka work online tapos office work ko 10 months Lang. Haha although I miss having my own earnings kasi full time mama na ako. Whew.

Those of us who are at work, if they suddenly sit down, it will not feel good anymore. Then we will start to miss work. And it is much better to live in work. Because unemployment cannot be a life. The real survival of human beings is through work.
I understand my friend. I used to enjoy work a lot but not the traffic and hassle of going to work..So I had to resign because I cannot sleep just for 4 hours every day.
You can long for anything. All it takes is the desire and the free time. But you have to change jobs periodically, otherwise you'll get bored and irritable.Keep your life in "tone".
That is very wise advice my friend, thank you. I will keep that in mind.
hehe I love the pirate Glessa!
Thanks po sir Ed. Those were the good old days!
Hello beautiful pirate :D I wonder if you really wanna go back to work as opposed to being with your beautiful babies hehe.
Hehe thanks for the compliments sis. Maybe I could work part-time because I have parental burnout. Perhaps when the youngest starts schooling and I have some free time :) Just thinking about it :)
That might be the case sis, and maybe if the times are not like these and we are free to roam around, you probably enjoy going out and playing with them hehe
Aww yes sis, that is true. And right now, I might be going to join them, Bam is biking and Saoirse is practicing how to walk :)
That's awesome sis! Wow! Bilis na talaga panahon. Pretty soon tatakbo takbo na si baby S :)
Yes, I was almost stuck for many years. When I got pregnant with my eldest child I stop from working. But I love to try now, but I had a problem with my grammar so it's better to practice my English language so that it would help me getting a work I wanted to try. Being in the house is so stressful one especially when your child wants to buy something and you can't afford to buy it. It's a hopeless scenario for me.
I have been there sis. Malalampasan mo din yan.
I wish I can surpass this kind of feeling of me. It's hard to believe that I can write an article here even if my grammar wasn't good. 😅😅😅 thank you sis💪
Write from the heart, and you won't be mistaken!
Every article, I wrote sis it will come from my heart, but I'll think it's not good.😅 maybe I need to read and read and read and try to write my comment in English so it would be easier for me what do you think sis? Right me if I'm wrong sis..😢
Kahit Tagalog English sis okay lang.. And write topics na familiar ka or may experience ka para smooth yung flow ng article :)
You have a point sis, sige po subhuman ko sana makisama ang utak ko. 😁😁
I go out to work 1 day a week, but unlike you, I don't want to go back to work, I am more productive at home than in the office. I hope you achieve your goals
