Have you ever heard this what we called as "Play-To-Earn (P2E) Games"? I bet, you are. Whether you're in noise.cash, read.cash, or even outside these said platforms? I'm pretty sure that you had known this type of game. Let's just use DOTA, Mobile Legends, and the popular "Axie" as an examples.

I wanna deepen this part pa sana but this article won't focus on that aspect. But rather, to the decision that I made yesterday. What is it? Let's get to know more.

Pegasus Galaxy or simply "Pegaxy" ...

I only known its existence because of my co-content creators in noise.cash and read.cash. At first, I don't have any plans to join the game. However, Ate @Jane pinged me at Telegram asking if I want to play Pegaxy because the application under a certain guild was ongoing. So, I said "yes" despite the fact that I don't know how to play it. Kumbaga, "take the risk" ba.

Fast forward ...

I applied as a scholar and became an official scholar under Chad's P3 Racing Guild by 02.18.2022. Sir Poopster, my manager, had given me two (2) pegas: Sloppy Sounds and Pega Go Brrrrrrr.

And as a Pegaxy scholar, I have to attend such simple responsibilities for me to be able to secure my pega/s and increase my shares.

• Race the pega given to me.

• Don't let the energy to exceed at 20 and so.

• Interact and be active in Discord for two weeks.

However, I failed to do comply with these things which led me to lose Sloppy Sounds. How sad it is~

It made me feel weak and demotivated because who wouldn't? I just received those pegas by the afternoon and immediately lose a pega by the night of the same day. But, I should move on and so I did.

After more or less than a month, I gained another pega from Sir Poopster. Say "Hello!" to Poo Eater~ 💩 Then just by 04.15.2022, Ate Jane sent me a message via Telegram to ask if I want to race her pega, AC 1623. So, I said "yes" again.

Two days of racing AC, Ate Jane swapped it with other pega as she'll give AC to her other scholar, Ate @Usagi. And, tadaaa! Got here a male pega named "VOLVERINE." A very special horsie for Ate Jane as it was her first ever pega. 💙

To top it all, I've got a full stable by having these three (3) rented pegas. They are:

✓ Pega Go Brrrrrrr and Poo Eater from the guild; and

✓ VOLVERINE from my Ate Jane.

What I got from playing these three pegas every morning, afternoon, and night? A token known as "VIGOROUS" or "VIS." How much exactly is it? Here:

This 1,441.9 VIS was the supposedly ready-to-withdraw VIS. However, I don't have MATIC here to be used for the gas fee. So basically, I'll hodl it muna.

And as of 2:54PM of 04.21.22, I have here a claimable 2,077.15 VIS.

Sadly, I need to come up with a very tough decision and it concerns my side hustle in Pegaxy. And the question is, "should I quit playing Pegaxy or should I push it pa?"

Since Tuesday morning to Wednesday, I've been thinking this matter. The truth is, I really want to quit. As in, guys. I have so many reasons but here's the top 3 most important reasons of me:

Less wins, more losses.

At the beginning, I am so happy and satisfied by racing my rented pegas. I can win a lot of times, every day. But, after the first update? Everything changed. I, we starts to get lesser win rates resulting to the decrease in our stats.

As days passes by with numbers of updates from the developers and most of all, with the 45 to 70 prize pool? I suddenly loss the urge and excitement to play. Seems like my efforts have been in vain~

Consumes too much data.

Since we don't have an access to WiFi, I've been buying load just to provide my needs for internet connection for 7 days.

Before I got to be involved in Pegaxy, that 8 GB data can be prolonged for the whole week. Minsan nga, expired na pero 'di pa ubos ang data ko. But these past few weeks, my data was running out within just 2-3 days. I'm lucky if it'll reach the 4th day~ lakas talaga, guys. Huhu!

If it'll continue for days? My BCH savings will gonna run out for buying a load every now and then. Also, my academic requirements nowadays needs my data more than anything.

My studies.

And most of all, I'll be more busier in academics. Gonna start preparing for my thesis outline defense next week and that includes moooore meetings to practice on how to run softwares like QGIS and Earth Engine to track the infestation of Anthracnose-Twister disease of onions. Ah basta, ayun na 'yun. Hihi!

As these said "busy days" starts, I will be more inactive im our Discord channel and will greatly fail to comply with that "interact more." And justst like what we, students and the other people says and believe, "education is more important than anything." ✨

And after weighing my thoughts, I finally came up with a decision yesterday (04.20.2022) morning. What is that decision?

"To return Pega Go Brrrrrrr and Poo Eater to Sir Poopster. However, I'll keep Ate @Jane's pega until I can do so."

After I drained their remaining energies, I pinged my manager to inform him about my decision. Good thing that he understands me and my reasons~

Now, I only have VOLVERINE in my stable. Yes, the possible profit can be considered as "sayang" but I have a more bigger priorities outside the world of side hustles. A long-term priority~ and that's my studies. ♥️

Will just gonna find other online side hustles that I can juggle up with my studies and other responsibilities. More so, to push my existing hustles more and more.
