Don't let your left hand know.
These days I am watching some videos that bring me certain questions. Money is indispensable in life to cover our needs but the point is when we become greedy and want to get money through any ruse.
In some videos that I have seen, I realize that people get followers to invent many lies. They make believe that they are family-loving people, pet-loving people, people-loving people, and many other things.
I have seen many videos where people record themselves giving things like money, food, and electrical appliances and they are recording themselves in action. The person who is donating is in the video and I see how many followers they get on that video.
We like to do acts of kindness but if we are people of God we don't shout out the gifts we give. We can't give a gift like clothes and food, say God loves them and with such a fresh face go out in a video smiling and giving.
Have you read the Word where it says that your left-hand does not notice what your right hand does? Then I wonder how a person of God can go out recording himself and giving things in the name of God, just to appear very smiling on camera.
Those are ways to get followers, to get money. Can you imagine the number of videos that many more people who give away gifts anonymously would have to make?
I don't agree with making a big deal out of the good deeds we do for a sibling.
I have read of parents, both female and male, who make videos about their families and then turn out to be abusers. Of people who have pets just to go on the air and say they love them and then the truth of the abuse comes out.
Money is not bad, it is not bad to want to have money, it is the way we want to have it that becomes a bad habit. We cannot act with selfishness, with evil, with mistreatment in order to obtain the greatest reward for ourselves. It is ill-gotten money even if it is in a good way as it is by using the networks.
The end cannot justify the means. It cannot be that to obtain the money we mistreat children in a video, we mistreat our partner in a video, we mistreat nature. It is very sad when I hear that some of this has happened by making a video of people who get a lot of followers who believe in the goodness of that human being and they are mocked for this.
Let us support good works but let us also have the discernment to know if that good work is of God or simply of man's vanity.
Have you ever come across one of these videos that have gone viral and then discovered that it was of a human being with very few human values?

People now are much smart in making money. No matter how. As per donation and charity is concerned some people do it deliberately for publicity while some out of good intention. They also prefer to be away from the picture.
