Usually, during the month of Ramadan, schools will close students until the end of Eid. To fill the holiday during the month of Ramadan, they play with firecrackers. Then they would play with firecrackers all night.
2. Wake up sleeping, people
When we were teenagers, my friends and I always did this. The goal is for people to be able to carry out Sahur at 3 in the morning. We grouped carrying gongs and ringing them while walking around the village to wake up the residents so they could carry out Sahur.
3. Asmara Subuh
Around 5.30 am, to be precise after performing the dawn prayer at the mosque, the young men and women will be doing activities with friends until the sun rises. Some teenagers sometimes do charms to get acquainted with a boy or girl. When we were still in school, my friends and I did activities by cycling until the sun rose.
4. Sharing Takjil
Takjil is foods such as cakes, fried foods, or snacks to break the fast at sunset. Some communities carry out food sharing activities for fasting people and enjoy when breaking their fast. When I was a child, my friends and I hunted Takjil every afternoon. We are cycling and looking for people who share Takjil.
5. Iftar together
After a week of fasting, there will usually be an activity called breaking the fast together. This is done to maintain the relationship between friends. This iftar activity can also be used as a reunion for old school friends. Usually, in the middle of Ramadan, there will be invitations from the elementary, middle, and high school friends to hold iftar events together.
