Good evening. I wrote this poem for a guy who has a special place in my heart before. Serendipitous memories And regretful sighs Fallen leaves are twirling amidst the skies Mellifluous noise of crickets and chirps Ephemeral hours Beneath the gloomy sky And starry night Anguished thoughts Clandestine revelations Secret frustrations Incandescent candles burn As if awaiting your return to my feelings As it would happen Heatbreak and hollow emptiness Caused by unforsaken limerence .Acceptance is the key Between requited love and bittersweet limerence ***Limerence -*** the state of being infatuated or obsessed with another person, typically experienced involuntarily and characterized by a strong desire for reciprocation of one's feelings but not primarily for a sexual relationship *(Oxford Language Dictionary)*
