In many sardinian villages horses are loved and still used, for example during religious celebrations or for Palios. As soon as the lockdowns end I will show you. Even in my town it's possible to find them in some naturalistic area and you can have a little tour after putting your foot in the stirrup and swinging into the saddle.

The sardinian coast is full of towers, built since the middle age to observe the arrival of pirates (bad problem that we had for centuries and centuries). We can count a system of 105 towers. From each one you can see the adjacent 2, so by fires or sounds the communications could run very fast. I took yesterday these pictures, you can see one of the smallest tower, where only 2 soldiers could be hosted.

This is an ancient Lazzaretto (named so from Lazarus the beggar). It has existed since 6 centuries and it was the place to isolate infected people or used as a quarantine station for maritime travelers. From a nearby tower soldiers could check who was trying to escape, in this case there was the death penalty. The old times. But during this covid pandemic, is it not the same for the travelers, since they need to do a quarantine? The old times meeting the new ones! π£

This is the Roman Amphitheatre of my town, where gladiators could give shows for 10.000 people. It was half carved in the rock, while the rest was built in white limestone (you can see how it looked in the last picture) . Unfortunately during the middle ages the stones were removed and used to build fortifications and so only the carved spots remain. π£

This is Palazzo Boyl, one of the most characteristic building in my town. Inside it there is one of the three medieval towers built during the Pisan occupation. The tower, named Lion Tower, was incorporated in the Boyl Palace because heavily damaged after British (1708), Spanish(1717) and French (1793) attacks. The balls of the cannon shots of these three assaults were put on the wall of the building and you can still see them there.

This BCH/BTC chart shows us that the BitcoinCash is constantly increasing its value in relation with the Bitcoin. In one month around +40%. What I like when I visit a new city is to lose myself inside it: my typical behaviour is walking without a map on the most ancient streets. The best choice for this kind of "adventure" is always the medieval area, where the streets don't allow you to guess what you will see next and the most beautiful buildings or piazzas will appear suddenly, amazing you always at the highest level.

This is a picture I took few years ago in a town near GdaΕsk, Poland, in April, so during this season. When I think to the Baltic sea, I have in mind the atmosphere I found in this wooden pier.
