This promontory is called the Devil's Saddle. The gulf is named Gulf of the Angels. The legend tells that a war among Angels and Devils happened to conquer the beautiful city. Obviously Devils were defeated and Lucifer lost the saddle of his horse… that is petrified where we can see it now. Do you have names like this in your city?

Cape Town South Africa has Devils peak which is next to lions head. Don’t know the story behind it though. It’s part of the table mountain range.
