This food or that food
I just shared the link of my recent article on noise.cash and I saw @Chelle18's noisy post and she saved me for this day. I immediately read her This or that food edition (my entry) after I commented on her noisy post because it was about food. Pretty much sure you know by now that I am a certified food lover and I also love answering random questions. Remember those naughty, naughty questions last Valentine's day? LOL. Anyhow, I saw this article from Chelle18 that she read from @BCH_LOVER. Go check them out after you finish reading my this food or that food.
So let's begin.
Pizza or pasta
Definitely both! LOL. For me, a pasta is incomplete without pizza and vice versa don't you think? I know both are carbs and very heavy but I really like to pair my pasta with pizza or my pizza with pasta. Talking about pizza and pasta made me think about the time I treated my mom and helper with Yellow Cab pizzas and pastas. I am salivating right now. LOL.
If there is no pasta available, I would be able to eat more than 4 slices of family sized pizza. If the pizza is as thin as Shakey's, I can eat a box of their party size pizza. LOL. Speaking of Yellow Cab, I know their unlimited wings and pizza are back every Saturday and Sunday for only Php499 (around $10). It started last March 19 and ends on April 10. Though I am not sure if it is available on all Yellow Cab stores here in the Philippines.
Ice cream or cake
The younger me would have answered ice cream because back then I was never a fan of cakes. I only wanted Goldilock's chocolate cake/roll, brazo de mercedes, crema de fruta and sans rival. It was with Red Ribbon's chocolate mousse that I started refraining from eating cakes other than those that I have mentioned. I do not know how to translate it in English but I got fed up or "naumay" when I was eating the chocolate mousse to the point that I almost throw up. Thankfully, when other cake shops or pastry chefs started to sell different cakes, that is when I appreciated the taste of cakes again although it is still limited to a few cakes like the cakes from Conti's, Estrel's, Purple Oven and Mary Grace. But kudos to Red Ribbon for making a chocolate cake that is moister than Goldilock's. Whenever I would eat a cake, I would only take a small piece. For me a good cake should be moist and fluffy. I do not like cakes with mousse fillings or have a lot of ganache on it. I can be very picky when it comes to cake.
So going back to ice cream or cake, I think the older me would still choose ice cream because I can eat different ice creams unlike with cakes.
Waffles or pancakes
Sorry but I am really not a fan of both. If it was croffle or a French toast then I would have chosen that.
Rice or noodles
We Filipinos love rice. We eat rice in breakfast, lunch, dinner and sometimes even during snack. But between rice and noodles, I would pick noodles especially if it is pasta. If it is pancit, I would choose both because I usually like to eat my pancit with some rice or bread especially if the pancit is a little salty that even squeezing some calamansi juice would not do the trick to lessen its saltiness. If the question was rice or meat, I would have chosen meat. I'm a carnivore. LOL.
Vegetables or fruits
Chelle18 said she would choose vegetables as fruits are expensive and I totally agree with her. My dad even said that having fruits these days are a luxury but there are also vegetables that are expensive. However, I love both. I do eat any kinds of fruits and vegetables and both have different health benefits.
Spicy or sweets
I guess I would go for spicy but not too spicy that I would not be able to enjoy what I am eating. I do eat some sweets but I am not a big fan of sweets. I do not have a sweet tooth like my mom or my sister-in-law who like eating anything sweet after a meal.
I am really not that a picky eater as I can eat whatever is on the table. Although I am not sure if I can eat it if it is a rabbit, cricket, rat or other exotic foods but I do eat balut (fertilized bird egg), lamb and frog. My brother is also a certified food lover but there are a lot of food that he does not eat and among those are onions, bell pepper, chicken feet and some other vegetables. That is why I love eating overloaded pizzas because I get to eat some of his toppings. He prefers a Hawaiian pizza over overloaded supreme pizzas while I prefer the latter. The more toppings, the better.
