December 03, 2020 was the day when I joined this beautiful platform, read.cash. It was exactly a year ago when my life was changed.

I happened to find out about this platform from @Judith1969. I have met her along with @bmjc98, @bbghitte, @Bloghound, @Bjorn, @Firenze and @ARTicLEE from a different platform, Kiki, a photo blogging app. When Kiki had stopped paying its users, most of the people transferred to a different platform (SnapMe) and then to another (Tsū; which is now display) and to another (Project Blue Fire) until we all landed here.

After Kiki, I was not able to join them on SnapMe because it was not available on the AppStore. However, they created a Facebook Group and a group chat on Facebook Messenger for some Kikiers (what we call the users of Kiki). It was in those chats that they would talk about some money earning platforms. I have said this before that I do not regularly open my social media accounts even my Messenger. Even if someone would message me, I would sometimes reply to them after few hours, days or even weeks. I only joined Tsū because someone direct messaged me almost everyday. He was so persistent because he wanted me to use his affiliate link and so I agreed to join for him to stop. I really did not like Tsū compared to Kiki so I was not that active there.

Then one time when I opened the group chat/s of the ex Kikiers, I saw Judith1969 shared about her earnings on read.cash. Actually, weeks ago I backtracked all of the messages on both group chats just to look back on that particular message but I could not find it. But I know that it was Judith1969 who said that she was able to earn Php5,000 (or around $100) in a month. I am positive that it was her or am I wrong? Let me know if you really shared something about it Judith1969 or maybe I was just imagining things. LOL.

When I saw those digits, my eyes were flashing some dollar signs. LOL. Well who wouldn't right? $100 is already a big amount of money for me. I told myself that if I were to earn that same amount as well in a month, I would only need to look for another hundred and fifty bucks more.

Exactly a year ago today, I joined this platform but I know it was the following day when I had published my very first article. I did not know that there was an affiliate link. I happened to know abouth the link after I have sent a screenshot of my newly published article on our group chat. My bad. I am sorry.

Around the same time, a fellow Kikier also joined this platform. I do not know if he is still active here but we were all notified on our group chat that his articles were getting a lot of attention from our favorite friend, The Random Rewarder also known as Rusty. I think his articles got an upvote of more than $5 or even $10 or more. To tell you the truth, I was a little envious of him. It was I who badly wanted to join because of financial problems but I did not get recognized by other people most especially our dear friend. I did not let that get in my way so I continued publishing my articles. I was also noticed by our generous friend though it was only a litttle amount per article. I told myself that it was better than to get nothing at all because around those times, there were some old users who received nothing. Their accounts were marked and there were issues about downvotes not only in their articles but also in their comments.

During that time, I was so afraid that is why I really followed the site's rules. If you have been an avid reader of mine, you would know that most of my articles were about my life in general. My personal experiences, my rants, my honest opinions and everything that I wanted to say, I say it here. This platform has been my outlet to speak my mind. I published an article before about why I joined here was not only because of the earnings but also because I wanted a medium where I can express everything. I have been unemployed for years now and I feel like my brain was getting foggier each passing year even more so after I have had my surgery last year plus the effects of this pandemic when we cannot go out like we used to before. I used this outlet for me to keep my mind (a little. LOL) sharp.

Then that time came when it was already my turn to shine. I was really happy to wake up with a lot of notifcation coming from our bestest friend. I even took a screenshot of that time but sadly I still cannot open my old phone. It was during those times that I would instantly grab my phone first thing in the morning even when my eyes were still closed. I think I did that for a couple of weeks and I felt guilty so I tried to practice saying a short prayer upon waking up. Praying became the second thing that I would do before waking up before. Thankfully, I was able to revert it back. I know that some of you are also guilty of grabbing your phones the moment you wake up.

This platform has not only helped me financially but it has also helped me emotionally, mentally, socially and spiritually. Can I also include physically? Seriously, I will forever be grateful to this platform for helping me be who I am today. I may not be as successful as Bill Gates or the late Steve Jobs but I can very much say that I have succeeded in achieving the goal that I had overlooked, the goal to be debt free.

I know I have said this in some of my past articles but I want to thank this opportunity to again to thank all the people behind this platform. I may not know you all personally but do know that I am sincerely thankful that you created this platform. Of course, I would also like to thank Judith1969 because if she did not share about her earnings here, I would not be here. And most especially I want to thank bmjc98. She was the one who had guide me when I was starting here. I also would want to thank my past and present sponsors.

Lastly, I want to thank you all for your continued support in reading, liking, upvoting and commenting on my articles. It is the reason why I strive hard to better myself. My read.cash journey would not be a success if not for all of you and I when I say ALL, it means everyone of you whether you are a newbie, or someone who just happened to pass by and read some of my articles without liking and leaving a comment or subscribing to me even if you do not read my articles. Do know that you are part of my journey.
