In my previous article I have said that I am very used to greeting the guests. I remember during the my first job, when I have gotten close with our guests, I would really greet them with my sincerest greeting and always with a smile. Sometimes when I am in the mood, I would even greet them with a really long goooooood morning/afternoon/evening. LOL. That is why the guests would immediately know if I am in good mood or not because of my greeting. When I got my heart broken for the first time, our guests witnessed that a cheerful me would end up being broken hearted so they would giveme advices that probably it was not really meant to be and a lot of fatherly advices. Looking back I can say that I am really touched with how they wanted to give me some advices but during those times, my ears were close.

Do you greet people just because you need to or do you greet them with your utmost sincerity? How about when someone greets you, do you also reply with the same greeting or you just smile back at them? In the past 2 weeks, I have been greeting a lot of guests and thanking them whether or not they bought something from us. I would sometimes also say, "have a nice day" or "see us again" when they leave the store. Some would greet me back and some will give me a smile even with their masks on. Then there were those people who would not say a word nor would they give you a smile. Honestly, sometimes I also do not greet back at people or smile at them when they would greet me. I would sometimes just greet them in my mind. It actually depends om my mood. LOL. But there were also times that I would greet them back, thank them and even smile back at them. I am pretty sure that we know how it feelsĀ  when we are beimg unnoticed that we feel like we are a ghost which they cannot see nor hear. That is why I see to it that I respond to someone who greets me. But I do understand those who does not greet or smile back.

For me, I am just happy to greet the guest and to smile at them. Sometimes greeting someone with a smile on our faces can brighten up a person's day and frowning at guests also changes a person's mood making them have a bad day. There was one guest when I was still working at company A who would tell me that he really likes it whenever I greet the guests because he felt that I was so welcoming unlike with my supervisor who was always frowning and he was sensing some bad vibes when he comes inside the coffee shop. It was really fummy because that guest would copy how my supervisor would look like when she was welcomimg our guests. Then he also said thay when he was talking to her, he felt like my supervisor was always angry. LOL.

Even in texts or chatting with family and friends, you can feel my energy wheneber I would greet you a good morning. It was even more livelier when I was greeting my past flirtationship with a good morning. LOL. Oh how I miss texting ang messaging him everytime I wake up and before I go to sleep. Erase. Delete. Remove. LOL. Anyway, when someone greets us a good morning, afternoon or evening, I hope we can also greet them back or just give them a smile to know that yiu have acknowledged that person's greetings. I am sure that the person will feel that he or she is being noticed. For this week, I am actually planning to greet them by saying, "annyeong" or hello in English. There are some guests when we would greet them and they would reply with annyeong or annyeonghaseyo. Though I am still a little shy to greet them with that. When I was working in a Japanese restaurant before, we were all required to greet the guests in Japanese and even thank them in Japanese. It was really nice especially when we would be welcoming them altogether. Also I hope that if we are to greet someone, it will be sincere. And with that, I want to end this by saying good night from this side of the world and good morning in your side. It has been a long day for me since I slept late last night so I have to catch some sleep today.

Guilty, I belong to those who doesn't replied from the greetings sis. I am not fond of greeting anyone too. Maybe because I was use to it. My parents didn't raised us to be particular with greetings

It would be nice to hear someone saying "Ohayou gozaimasu.", "Irasshaimase", and "Arigato gozaimasu". Japanese greetings are very polite, so I guess everyone who can hear will be happy.

Annyeong! That's cute! Hihi, I always love to greet my friends with "annyeongggggggg" hahaha. And I agree, medyo mesheket ng slight kapag walang kibo or reaction yung binabati natin ng "good morning". Huhu
