It has been announced that we have a granular lockdown starting September 3 due to the rapid spread of the Delta variant. We have 12 cases in our barangay and it's really alarming. She watched a video yesterday about this DIY thing and she remembered that she has this bare headband in her stuff. Freshly caught fish!!! My aunt sold it to us this morning and she said they caught more than 20 kilos (wow!) My mother grilled one, but I failed to take a photo of it because me and my siblings were excited to taste it already. We went to the nearby forest early today because my sister had a joke to her friend asking for 'ayuda'. To her surprise, he did not only give her 2-kilos of pork but a 1 whole slaughtered pig ready for lechon! As of now, they are still cooking the lechon and will surely have a sumptuous dinner at home😊 Sharing this pretty heaven-like scene I witnessed this morning at the forest. I felt a bit heavy after a call from a relative As soon as we finished breakfast, I immediately asked my daughter to come with me to the beach And what a great relief I felt after seeing this super calm sea and that almost clear blue sky! We just sat there, enjoy the sand on our feet then watch the sea and those soft splash of waves. I went home with a cheerful heart😊

People here in our place have been in 1-month lockdown. We have provided support from the local government but of course these are canned and process foods and we crave for something healthier like vegetables, fruits and fish. Yesterday afternoon, the fishermen caught a lot of fish and my sister bought 5 kilos! Golden sun, Golden sky, Seaweeds, Splash, splash! The scene I witnessed and enjoyed earlier while the kids are playing at the back sliding on the sand. This little friend I found in the garden And eaten almost all of the leaves of my pretty periwinkle I did not remove it from there, because I know the periwinkle serve its purpose. We may not know it but we all have a purpose of each one's lives A simple gesture may not mean to you but to someone who is experiencing or struggling it would already means a lot. We let the kids out today. Went to a newly cleaned forest and allowed them to enjoy their bikes. They were screaming and shouting as if it's their first time after so long. Oh what a joy seeing them so happy and free. Praying for the world's healing from this pandemic so they could freely go out to the park, play and meet new friends.
