If you look at the sky now, you will notice quite a few satellites traveling one after the other from west to east. YES this is Starlink- whose key goal is to bring the internet to the most remote places. It is a global satellite network that is supposed to provide fast access to the World Wide Web from every corner of the world. To accomplish this project, SpaceX initially launched 60 satellites loaded into the Falcon 9 spacecraft. A total of 600 satellites are currently in operation, orbiting the earth at an altitude of 550 kilometers and providing a test Internet connection to the northern United States. America and with Canada.
Instead of sending internet signals via electrical cables that need to be physically identified to reach distant places, satellite internet works by redirecting information through sucked space where it travels 47% faster than in an optical cable. If all goes according to plan, the satellite will internet in 2021 available elsewhere in the world, with some luck maybe even here. The key goal of SpaceX is to provide very fast and affordable Internet access for all the inhabitants of the Earth. This will be especially useful for those users who either do not have an internet connection or are poor and unreliable due to inadequate infrastructure.
They plan to launch up to 60 more on the Falcon 9 flight, with launches every two weeks in 2020.
