I noticed lately that I'm gaining weight, so I decided to do some light exercise. We went biking around Manila earlier but we are unable to enter Intramuros because bicycles are not permitted.

Breakfast is served.. This is the only day of the week when I have the opportunity to cook breakfast. Let's eat, noisy peeps. Have a blessed Sunday!

I've just returned home. We went biking again earlier and ran some errands as well, despite the heat of the afternoon! We have also passed across a couple of bridges. Don't worry, we make it a point to stay hydrated and always have a bottle of water on hand. It's exhausting, but it's still a lot of fun. This photo was taken near the bridge that connects the Intramuros and Divisoria. The said bridge is still under construction.

Just enjoying the rest of Sunday evening because tomorrow will be a start of another busy week. Finished watching X-Men Apocalypse just now. Photo is my favorite scene from the said movie. I used to eat my breakfast at the office before the pandemic. I'd order palabok, pansit, champorado, or fried rice with longganisa from the nearby carinderias. I decided to take a jeep instead of a taxi earlier. There are only few passengers in the jeep . Since jeepney drivers are among those who have been affected by the pandemic, I decided to help in my own small way by giving manong driver more than the jeepney fare. This is not to brag, but to inspire others and to share how I felt when I saw manong driver smile as he thanked me. The city of Manila has been transformed in numerous ways. I can't believe restoration is even a possibility. The photo was taken behind the Kartilya Ng Katipunan monument, where there used to be a lot of stalls and stores. I had no idea there was a statue in the middle of it.
