Since the Spanish colonial period, the Azcárraga otherwise known as Recto Avenue has been one of the commercial hubs in the country’s capitol. Thanks to its strategic location, the street has become the center for trading of goods of all sorts and kinds. After years of urban decay, the city government of Manila has exerted earnest efforts to improve the condition of the street in their effort to bring back the glory of old Manila.
