Asthma attack again

It's been the 3rd day of the month and it will be my first article for the month. I rested my mind for two days.

So to those who still don't know, my son is asthmatic not inborn nor a normal Asthma that just goes away when he grows up. We have the term "piang" or something like fractured bones. Every time he played too much or when it was too cold his asthma would attack. We discovered that he is asthmatic when we were around 1 year old. We already had the clue that he had asthma when we heard the wheezing sound when he breathed. Since we wanted it to confirm so we decided to take him to his pediatrician.

Since then we already know that now and then we will have to be ready anytime his asthma attack. Luckily through the help of my BCH earnings particularly from my noise.cash earnings I was able to purchase our own Nebulizer. We needed to have it so that anytime his asthma will attack we don't have to borrow from the Barangay.

Last Wednesday was my mother in laws birthday. We had a small dinner celebration in their house after we arrived from work. My son was so energetic and played so much with his cousins and that started his asthma to attack again. He started to cough and fever a day after that birthday celebration. Luckily my daughter didn't have a class that day so she was just at home and she was the one who takes care of her brother. I told my daughter to feed her brother and let him drink his medicine and use the Nebulizer if my son had a hard time breathing but then my daughter forgot to use the Nebulizer even if my son had a hard time breathing. So when I got home from work I was the one who Nebulize my son. We always have Salbultamol for Nebulizer at work in case of emergency. We also have Expectorant/Anti-Asthma (guaifenesin+ salbutamol Syrup) and Paracetamol for his fever. We also have the Binonga tree at home it's herbal medicine for Asthma. We only use the leaves as "Hakop" whenever his asthma attacks. It helps a lot coz after I use that leaves and massage him his don't cough that often anymore.

For now, I don't hear him wheezing so I guess the Asthma is gone but he still has a cough. Hopefully, his cough will be gone after taking medicine. I also bought him Antihistamine for his runny nose.

Ending thoughts

Having a sickly son is never easy. We always have to find ways to make him better every time his asthma attacks. If his basic medicine won't help we had no choice but to bring him to his pedia to have the prescribed medicine. Though we already know the medicine needed we can't buy it right away without a doctor's prescription.

We suppose to have a cheaper option by going to the health center yet our doctor here is useless. We already tried to take our son to our health center hoping he will give us the proper medication yet he still failed to do it as he always prescribed the same medicine every time we visit there. Just like the last time my son had asthma with phlegm on his cough yet he never prescribes any antibiotic knowing that my son had a cough for around 2 weeks already.
