~Moments in life~ I'm not gonna lie, since covid started I haven't been outside much, so our recent trip with my boyfriend was so refreshing and relaxing. Here's some beautiful sky above a river named "Labe" (Czech Republic). Also... Is anyone else sun-burned? It hurts a lot. I'm not going to lie.

~Art journaling~ #adoniis_art #adoniis_journal For me, it was always important to write down what's going on in my life, so I can read it back after years and still remember. Well, and I like art and to draw, so I started to make my diary entries pleasant to look at. It's called "art journaling". I think it looks so much better than just a plain text. ~My art about sculptures, coldness and life~ #adoniis_art I was always intigued by sculptures and their coldness (especially the ones made of write marble - so cold but so beautiful!) and how human-like they can be even though you know they are not alive. So I made these pencil and watercolor drawings of people kissing a sculpture, trying to "impress" a life into them. I tried to symbolize this with color. Now as I look at it after some time, the girls seem more lifelessβ¦

~Our vacation and a cat in a car~ We (my boyfriend and I) are currently on a small vacation in a tiny village where my boyfriend's parents live. The nature around is beautiful and we enjoy every bit of it, because normally we are staying in a city where there are barely any trees and it's just concrete everywhere. And it happens that my boyfriend's parents have a cat named 'BohouΕ‘'. (I love cats but don't have any. π) Funny fact: he surprisingly likes to ride with us in aβ¦

~Drawing people~ #adoniis_art People are my favorite subject to draw. I especially like faces and different expressions on them. This may sound strange (or even creepy), but I have over 700 photos of different faces saved on Pinterest and I'm planning on drawing them all π Every face is beautiful π The irony is that in real life I'm rather avoiding people, because I'm so introverted... Are you guys mostly introverted or extroverted? #Art

~Feeling better now~ Originally I wasn't planning on posting any photos of myself here, but I'm really content with my new haircut, so here it goes π I was looking like a fool with long hair for a long time. Now I am feeling better π Somewhat I always did felt better with shorter hair. Also, I love my shirt so much! Cats and skulls πβ οΈ perfectly fit my mood.

~Illustration and poetry~ #adoniis_art #adoniis_journal Throwback to the time when I was trying to write poetry π I did a little illustration to match it. I love the planed-shaped sticky notes from Ali. You can see the progress in the first photo and the final result in my journal in the second one. ~Cat details~ I have my phone about 3 years now and just a few days ago I discovered that it can focus so nicely (it still depends on a light and stuff but still...) (Omg, I missed so many photo-opportunities π) I decided to photograph some cat details. ~My current journal~ #adoniis_journal I'm currently on my 5th or 6th journal and I love the look of my last one so much. On the front there's a painting by Nicola Samori - an Italian painter who creates kind of distorted baroque-like art. I also added stickers and gold elements, because I'm obsessed with those. The sad thing is that I need to buy and decorate another one soon, 'cause this one will be almost filled already π Not every page, but there are pressed flowers,β¦

~On art and copying~ #adoniis_art People are always saying that when you copy, it's not real art. I strongly disagree with that! (As long as you don't claim someone else's art as your own - that's plagiarism. Really bad.) Not everyone is granted with the ability to draw from their imagination, but there's nothing wrong with using a reference! π #art_facts For example realism or hyper-realism artists (not only them) used real life as a reference. ~New profile picture~ Yesterday, I loved my outfit (I love chokers and my skull print shirt), so I took some new shots. Now my profile picture on Facebook is matching my cover photo π I think it can't be more kitsch... π I'll post about the cover photo soon. It's quite huge colored pencil drawing, one of my college projects.

~The longest book I've ever read~ I got this book for my birthday in February and I'm almost finished with it. It's the longest book I've ever read, almost 1.200 pages. It's a series called "His Dark Materials" by Phillip Pulmann, but some of you may know it as "The Golden Compass" because of the movie that came out years ago (it was not very good). This book is by far my favorite fantasy book β€οΈ There are parallel universes, armed polar bears, witches π... the story isβ¦

~My drawing: The White Queen (Alice in Wonderland)~ #adoniis_art This is one of my old drawings and I'm still so proud of it! I remember when I posted it on my social media, everyone was amazed at how real the flowers look. I used a new technique on the flowers (red ink with pencil over it), so I was glad they liked it. π I think the ink definitely made the flowers vibrant. How do you like it? ~About flowers and leaving~ Because of covid, online-school and mainly because I wanted to be with my beloved boyfriend, I stayed at his place since January up 'till now. Today I decided it's the time to travel home for a few weeks. You know, to catch up with my mum and sister. It's been such a long time since I was at home. ~Big kitten and lost photos~ When at home (at my mum's) I'm always being nostalgic. So as usual, l looked back at my old journals (even from year 2007 lol, the entries were so awkward!) and also photos from all the trips with my family. I found out that some photo files are corrupted, probably from copying them from one pc disk to another, so I lost them π But I was able to save these ones which I'm proud of. ~Some drawings~ #adoniis_art Lately I haven't shared any of my art with you, so here it goes π Drawing is definitely my medium. The oldest drawing I have documented (and hidden at my desk) is from year 2010 and it's my first proper portrait. I remember that I just started to use posters from teenage magazines as a reference. The drawing is horrible when I look at it now, but you can't blame me, I was only 12 back then π maybe I'll post it one day for fun, but I'd rather notβ¦

~Yummy (and healthy?)~ My mum works in a bakery in nearby city. They make all kinds of savory breads but also sweets and deserts. My mum often brings us stuff they made that day (workers can purchase all goods for half a price, which is pretty amazing!). Today, we've got basically a mushed strawberries with whipped cream on top. As simple as that π I don't have much of a sweet tooth (I don't really like sweets that much), but I enjoyed this, because it's not sweet at all!β¦

~The cathedral that I could not even photograph properly~ Hello :) This is a throwback to a school trip with my college class. We traveled from Czech Republic to Germany and then to Amsterdam to visit about 5 (I think) famous galleries π And in Cologne (or KΓΆln) in Germany, we were passing by this huge Cathedral π I couldn't even fit it in a frame to capture it properly (as you can see on my unprofessional pictures...), that's how monumental it is! π I mean... ~Illustration and poetry 2~ #adoniis_art #adoniis_journal I wrote this poem after I read "Alice in Wonderland" by Lewis Carroll. There's this passage where Alice is drowning in her own tears. ~Funny story~ Me and my boyfriend really like cats and we also like to take pictures. I'm currently not at his place, so we were chatting and exchanging some photos that we took a while ago on Messenger... Then this funny thing happened! We had exactly the same photo idea with cat paws! π I immediately knew that I need to share this with you, because it's such a precious moment ππ #Photography

~Sleeping trouble~ I slept surprisingly well last night. This is so rare in my life now, that it felt amazing. Well, they say that we sometimes only appreciate things that are long gone. And I think it is so true for some things.

~Pictures to print~ Today, I was looking through all my recent pics, selecting the ones that I want to print later. (I want to have them in my journal as a memory π) Here's one of the pictures. ~About flowers and time~ Today, I was shocked at how fast the time flies. I could've sweared that I got these flowers this February, but in my phone gallery, it says 2020... so it was actually last year!I can't believe it. So many things happened and time is going whoooosh! So fast. π The first picture is February, 2020 - flowers that I got for my birthday (from my mum β€οΈ) The second picture is today (July, 2021), and I still have the flowers in my room.

~A Quiet Place Part II (and my worst fear)~ Last night, I watched this movie and it was pretty entertaining. Not as spooky as I expected because it's not classic horror, rather apocalyptic thriller/drama (there are not many jumpscares, which is good, because I hate them π). Little spoiler ahead! ~So proud of this drawing! (magazine project)~ #adoniis_art The last school year on college we've got a project. The project was to create a fashion magazine with a "masks/protective gear" theme (yeah, because covid). So I decided to do an edgy, dark and stylish magazine called "THE EDGE" filled with my own drawings. This is the cover... And I'm so proud of it π It's A4 format and I used white pencil and pen on black paper (then I cut it out and stick it onto the white paperβ¦

Did you guys always know what you want to do in your life? I'm 23 and I still have no clue what I'd like to do, like a career, I mean. My only passion is art, but I can't make money with that (I'm no Picasso, lol) and it seems like I can't do anything else. I feel like everyone around me knows, except me :( Because of this I'm really worried. My school will end next summer and I can't imagine myself finding a job and everything. Will I end up in retail and be unhappy for theβ¦

~Stresfull shopping~ Today, I went shopping with my mum and my sister. I bought these new shoes, because I really needed a new pair (after 3 years π ). Honestly, we were kinda in a rush and I didn't want to look for a long time for some decent looking ones, so I went for the classic black and white "sneakers". They are also the easiest to pair with anything. π Ps. I'm always stressed while shopping. So many people, so many things... I'm never comfortable with that. π Pps. Whoβ¦

~Magazine project (part 1/4)~ #adoniis_art Some of you guys wanted to see more of my school project, so here it is π Our goal was to create a magazine about "masks/protective gear". I handwritten some text on this page, because it had to look like a real magazine (but I didn't want too much text, I still wanted to be artsy with lot of realistic drawings). Everytime I take my phone into my hand and my sister sees it, she's like: "Are you on the bitcoin again?". And I'm like: "Yeah, of course." π (I'm kinda addicted to noise now π) She doesn't know how is this site called. Actually, I do a lot of stuff on my phone, and I always did, since middle school. It's my little portable computer. I edit photos and even videos here, check my emails, I do researches and projects for school and I attended many of my classes while it wasβ¦
