~The longest book I've ever read~ I got this book for my birthday in February and I'm almost finished with it. It's the longest book I've ever read, almost 1.200 pages. It's a series called "His Dark Materials" by Phillip Pulmann, but some of you may know it as "The Golden Compass" because of the movie that came out years ago (it was not very good). This book is by far my favorite fantasy book ❤️ There are parallel universes, armed polar bears, witches 😊... the story is captivating from start to finish. And it's kind of a re-interpretation of John Milton's Lost Paradise. I included an excerpt below, if you'd like to know more about the book. Hovewer, if you're not a reader, there's a TV series based on the book. Season 3 is getting filmed right know. How do you guys like the cover of the book? I absolutely love it 😍 #Books

The longest book I ever read was the uncut version of Stephen King's The Stand in paperback, which came in at 1472 pages. It was second time reading the story, having read the original novel at nearly 900 pages on the first round.

  I feel like I don't have enough time to read these long books but it's so good. The story is so complex, when it's this long. I need to read Shephen King as well. After college, I hope 😊 thank you for commenting

    In have always found King to be one of my favorite authors. It's not just the stories he tells. It's how good he is at creating characters that you kind of feel you know, and so when he puts them into these extraordinary situations... You believe it.

This book has definitely caught my attention before because I love fantasies. I started reading novels at 8 years old and I’ve loved the fantasy genre since then up until now (at age 28! Lol). I haven’t had the chance to read it yet but I’m definitely adding it to my list! I hope I can procure a hard copy of it soon as I’m almost done with the one I’m reading now. It’s entitled The Elephant Vanishes by Haruki Murakami. I still prefer the hardcopy over ebooks because I love the scent of paper. 🤭

  Yeah.E-books are just not it 😊 I'm glad that you'll give it a try. I haven't read many books in my life, but this one was just incredible 😊
